Chapter 145: Enemy's Narrow Road 4

Lou Ruqing chose a seat by the window and sat down. The waiter immediately followed her and handed the menu to her.

She glanced at the menu and handed it back to the waiter: "A cup of Blue Mountain coffee, no sugar added. Thank you."

"Okay." The waiter smiled and left holding the menu.

Lou Ruqing leaned on the back of her chair and looked out the window, but she actually saw a familiar figure. The figure seemed to be walking into the coffee shop. She lowered her head subconsciously, hoping not to be discovered.

"Miss Lou, what a coincidence." The authentic and mellow English accent sounded in Lou Ruqing's ears.

Lou Ruqing raised her head helplessly, looked at Anthony's cold and proud face, and responded in English: "What a coincidence, Mr. Anthony."

"Can I sit here?" Anthony asked politely.

"Of course." Lou Ruqing said nonchalantly, but leaned back.

Anthony sat directly opposite Lou Ruqing, while the two men who were following him sat at the table behind them.

"I didn't expect Miss Lou to still be in New York." Anthony said as he picked up the menu handed to him by the waiter and looked at it.

Lou Ruqing smiled and said: "New York is so fun, of course I will go back after having enough fun."

"A cup of Blue Mountain coffee, no sugar added. Thank you." Anthony handed the menu to the waiter and then looked at Lou Ruqing, "Why don't you ask me to be your tour guide? I am very familiar with New York."

"How dare I ask the great godfather to be my tour guide?" Lou Ruqing replied with a smile, secretly cursing in her heart that the taste was the same as mine. It made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't want to drink anymore.

"It is an honor for me to be Miss Lou's tour guide."

Lou Ruqing looked at Anthony, why did such a cold, arrogant and cruel man speak so strangely in front of her?

"Miss, your coffee." The waiter placed the coffee in front of Lou Ruqing and left.

"So I ordered the same thing as you." Anthony looked at the coffee in front of Lou Ruqing, and the corners of his lips curled up.

"Yeah, what a coincidence." Lou Ruqing said uncomfortably as she gently stirred the coffee.

Anthony stared at Lou Ruqing and said, "This cafe doesn't look big, but its coffee tastes great. I come here often."

Lou Ruqing lowered her head and drank the coffee seriously and said, "It tastes really good."

"Never get tired of drinking." Anthony looked at her and secretly wondered, since she had been in New York, why couldn't the people he sent out find her traces? Instead, they met by chance, and God was really helping him. Continue

What should I do when I get down?

Lou Ruqing smiled and watched the waiter bring Anthony's cup of coffee.

"As far as I know, Miss Lou is still single?" Anthony's sudden words made Lou Ruqing almost spit out a mouthful of coffee, but luckily she coughed twice and swallowed it.

"Did my words scare Miss Lou?" Anthony looked at Lou Ruqing with a smile. This woman is indeed very charming. Only such a woman with both beauty and ability is worthy of him. However, the most important thing is her name.

The wind below helps.

"It's just an accident." Lou Ruqing wiped the corners of his mouth with a tissue and returned to his elegant posture.

Anthony said: "Miss Lou hasn't answered my last question yet."

"Oh? Single. Is Mr. Anthony interested in me?" Lou Ruqing deliberately joked.

"Yes, I want to pursue Miss Lou." Anthony looked serious.
