Chapter 13: He must have taken a fancy to you!

After lying on the bed and tossing and turning for nearly an hour, Qin Xiaoman still couldn't let herself fall asleep peacefully.

Her eyes were like clockwork and she couldn't close them. She didn't know if her pipa could be repaired? He said she would pay for it, but how could she ask for it? Should she tell her parents about this?

The child, who should have fallen asleep long ago, was thinking sadly in the dark room with his eyes wide open.

"Sister," a sudden voice at the door pulled Qin Xiaoman out of his chaotic and clueless thoughts. A boy of twelve or thirteen years old stuck his head out from the crack in the door.

"Qin Fan, you are scary!"

The girl lying on the bed immediately sat up straight and pouted in displeasure.

"You've been doing pancake-making exercises on the bed for an hour. I just came over to see if your pancakes were ready."

With that said, the uninvited guest walked in swaggeringly, sat directly beside Qin Xiaoman's bed, picked up a book from the writing table and tossed it around.

Qin Xiaoman glanced at the piano case next to the table guiltily, thinking that he must not find out. He jumped off the bed as soon as he lifted the quilt, grabbed Qin Fan's arm and pulled him out, "I want to

Go to bed, what are you doing in someone else’s room? Go back to your room..."

"Wait..." The shrewd little boy looked at his elder sister's nervous expression and felt something was wrong. While being dragged out, he still looked around in an attempt to find something unusual. Qin Xiaoman closed and locked the door.

After a while, a male voice whose voice had not changed yet came through the door, "Sister, sister, open the door..."

Qin Xiaoman took a breath and continued to lie back and start making pancakes.

"Xiaoman," Tongyao who was sitting next to him shouted, making Qin Xiaoman's eyes widen in shock.

"What's wrong with you today? I called you three times before you heard me." Nursery Rhyme said complainingly, "Did something really happen last night?" Worry immediately appeared on her vivid round face.

Qin Xiaoman sighed and said dejectedly, "Yes. When I came back from class, I happened to encounter someone fighting, and the pipa was broken."

Tong Yao clenched his fist and knocked on the table, causing five or six students around him to look at them, "I just said I have to pick you up. It would be great if I picked you up! It stinks, how could I...cough

!”

"Forget it, it's not your fault." Qin Xiaoman had to comfort his frowning deskmate, "Besides, the person who fought also promised to compensate me."

Now it was Tong Yao's turn to be surprised, "No? Are all the gangsters you meet so responsible? Are they fooling you? Where are you going to find someone later!"

"He's from our school. He said he's from Class 3 and 6, and his name is Yan Zisong." Qin Xiaoman said seriously.

"Who? Yan Zisong? No, the man of our school is famous throughout the East District. Was he the one you saw fighting yesterday?" Whenever these gossips and anecdotes are mentioned, the nursery rhyme becomes more interesting.

"Actually, it wasn't him who crashed it, it was them together, but he said he would be responsible for the compensation." Qin Xiaoman answered honestly.

"Huh? It's not simple. It is said that Yan Zisong is very cold. He actually meddles in other people's business. And it's the first time I heard that someone would pay compensation if someone broke something in a fight... Could it be..." Tong Yao relied on her many years of experience

With his keen sense of touch and wild imagination, he decisively concluded, "He must have fallen in love with you, hee hee..." with a nondescript smile.
