Chapter 992 Funeral

On December 13, 1939, the Jiashen day of the month of Bingzi in the Jimao year of the lunar calendar, the third day of the winter month, ** Shandong Bureau, Shandong Military Region, and Shandong Anti-Japanese Democratic Senate held a funeral for Zeng Zhongsheng in Dadian.

The main priest mourning hall is located in the wilderness outside Dadian Town. Two large pine trees with twisted branches are moved from the mountain to make a gate. A few long pine branches are connected to the door lintel. The door lintel is covered with a whole piece of white cloth.

The banner made of Liu Yimin's powerful characters: "The heroic wind runs through the sun and the moon, and the vast energy fills the world." In the middle is Tang Xingying, and Zhao Xiaoman's big flower-wrapped flowers made of white silk.

The elegiac couplet written by Liu Yimin was posted on the door frames on both sides: "The towering trees in the méng mountains will always be a monument, and the Yi River will send endless grief."

When entering the gate, wooden stakes were planted on both sides, white cloth was used as curtains, and a mourning wall was made. It read the elegies of leaders such as Liu Yimin, Luo Ronghuan, Cai Zhong, Zhu Rui, Guo Hongtao, Li Yu and other leaders and the cadres and soldiers who came to pay their respects.

The mourning words of the representatives from all walks of life in the base area are placed under the mourning wall, wreaths, garlands and flower baskets made of pine branches and cypress branches given by various troops, administrative departments, counties and units directly under the headquarters of Shandong Anti-Japanese Base Area were placed.

The mourning hall is a greenhouse made of steel pipes, with green military canvas hoods on it. Above the main entrance is still a white satin flower, and the banner is written with the words "Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng Memorial Mourning Hall" written by Liu Yimin.

On both sides are the ** Central Committee, xxx, all directly affiliated departments of the Central Committee, the Eighth Route Army Headquarters, the Eighth Route Army General Political Department, the Eighth Route Army 115th Division, the 120th Division, the 129th Division, the Independent Division, the Security Division, the New Fourth Army Branch, and the Shaanxi Anti-Japanese Democratic Special Zone Government

All departments, Shandong Bureau, Shandong Military Region, Shandong Anti-Japanese Democratic Senate, Chairman, General Zhu, Vice Chairman Zhou, Zhang Wentian, Chen Yun, and General Peng sent elegiac couplets by telegrams.

The Chairman's elegiac couplet is: "Raising the red flag to devote all his efforts to seek liberation for the hard-working people, and wielding the sword to fight for independence and death for the Chinese nation."

Mr. Zhu's election couplet is: "For the revolution and seek liberation, struggle for life, fight against the Japanese invaders to protect their country and the country for thousands of years."

Vice Chairman Zhou’s elegiac couplet is: “The red flag of Huangpu spirit is planted in Hubei, Henan and Anhui, and the blood of the national pioneers soaked in Yimeng Mountain.”

Zhang Wentian's elegiac couplet is: "When the Red Army worked hard for the revolution and for the Eighth Route Army to strive for liberation for life."

Chen Yun's elegiac couplet is: "Be knowledgeable and thoughtful, so he raised the flag to make a revolution, and he rose up for the country and the nation to fight against the war of resistance and destroy the East."

The elegiac couplet of President Peng is: "The monument engraved in méng mountain, and the Yishui worships the loyalty of the people."

On the upper front of the mourning hall is Liu Yimin's inscription "The great warrior, proletarian military strategist Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng will be immortal" inscribed. In the middle is a portrait of Zeng Zhongsheng. Below the portrait is an altar, with no fruit and offerings placed on it.

The ones are Zeng Zhongsheng's remaining works "The Key Points of Fighting with the Sichuan Army", "The Key Points of Guerrilla War", "The Key Points of Fighting with the "Suppression of the Red Army", "The Characteristics of the Japanese Army in North China", "Guerrilla War Methods behind Enemy", etc., and wooden pillars on both sides are hung on

The long couplet written by Liu Yimin: "Enter Huangpu and Zhongshan to seek truth from the perspective of the country to explore and write the red flags of the army, Hubei, Henan and Anhui have been fluttering to create a monument to the theory of guerrilla warfare, fighting against encirclement and suppression, fighting against the Japanese, fighting the independence of the Han, fighting the south and the north, jumping on horses and swinging the swords of the Shanxi, Hebei and Shandong war drums

The sound condensed into practical guide to counter-sweeping of guerrilla areas in the base area.”

This couplet is not neat, but it summarizes Zeng Zhongsheng's life achievements. He graduated from Huangpu and went to study at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow. He also served as the main contributor of "Young Soldier" and the chief writer of "Hankou Republic of China Daily", insisting on Hubei and Henan.

Anhui struggle explores the guerrilla warfare and theories of mobile warfare. After going north to fight against Japan, Liu and Luo commanded their troops from Shanxi to Shandong. They took the lead in the army to face the enemy several times, and they were called the commander of both civil and military. If they live and die, they will fight against each other in the future.

Our army's construction and military theory will inevitably make greater contributions. Liu Yimin even imagined that once he and Luo Ronghuan led their troops north to the northeast to fight against the Kwantung Army, they would recommend Zeng Zhongsheng to the central government to take charge of Shandong and command our army to fight the Japanese army in Shandong. Unfortunately,

God is jealous of talent, and Zeng Zhongsheng, who was rescued by Liu Yimin, died heroically in the war. Can Liu Yimin not be sad?

Zeng Zhongsheng's coffin was placed in the middle of the mourning hall. According to Liu Yimin's instructions, Zeng Zhongsheng was wearing a brand new Red Army uniform, a five-star military cap, a military coat, and a leather shoes when he was buried. Zeng Zhongsheng used watches, telescopes, water pens, and pistols were buried with him.

.

Liu Yimin said it very clearly that we don’t care if Chiang Kai-shek doesn’t posthumously awarded military ranks. We are the Red Army alive, and the Red Army if we die, and we wear the Red Army uniform.

The coffin was surrounded by flower baskets presented by Shandong party, government and military leaders led by Liu and Luo, and the leaders of the main brigades.

The flower basket in the middle reads, "Dear uncle, we will love you forever. The filial nephew Li Zhenghe, Li Zhengping, and the niece Ni Jingwang Jingwan."

This was specially arranged by Liu Yimin. Zeng Zhongsheng, who was alone in fighting for his son and daughter, wore mourning clothes to see him off. Of course, the children were not here, and only the Red Seventh Army, including Luo Ronghuan, Cai Zhong, Gaoyuan, Li Chang, etc.

The old man knew that this was Liu Yimin's child, and others, including Li Yu, didn't know that it was Zeng Zhongsheng's nephew.

The memorial service was chaired by the Deputy XXX of Shandong Bureau and Luo Ronghuan, the Political Commissar of Shandong Military Region. Guo Hongtao, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Bureau, read the condolence message, eulogy, and xxx's decision to posthumously award Zeng Zhongsheng the first-class Red Star Medal. Representative Cai Zhong, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Bureau and director of the Political Department,

Shandong Bureau and Shandong Military Region delivered eulogy. The eulogy details the life and deeds of the martyrs. The comment was written by Liu Yimin, "Great ** Warrior, proletarian military strategist."

After Cai Zhong delivered the eulogy, he was a memorial speech by representatives from all walks of life.

Finally, **Shandong Bureau xxx, commander of Shandong Military Region Liu Yimin delivered a speech entitled "Eliminating the Invaders" at the mourning hall.

There were low sobs everywhere in the venue.

Liu Yimin's voice was low and tragic: "Today, we are gathering here to mourn the great soldiers, proletarian military strategists, Shandong base areas, and one of the main leaders of the Shandong Military Region.

Why do people live? This is a philosophical proposition that is unchanging. Different people interpret the meaning of words and life from different angles. For example, when we are fighting the Japanese, Chiang Kai-shek is both fighting the Japanese and stabbing us in the back.

Wang Jingwei was even more amazing. He let the honorable vice president of xxx and ran to become a Han jiān. Ordinary people also performed differently. Some people destroyed their families to fight against Japan, while others donated their only one cent for the War of Resistance.

Some people have wives sent their husbands to the battlefield, their mothers taught their sons to fight against the East, their fathers died in battle and their sons continued to fight, and their brothers died in battle and their brothers continued to fight. However, some people gave the Japanese a bounty of dozens or even a few yuan.

The Japanese led the way, helped the Japanese to investigate the defense line, and betrayed the anti-Japanese cadres. He said he was a Han jiān, but he even shouted that he was wronged and said that he was to make money to support his family. There were also some people who were willing to be obedient and honestly did it in the Japanese.

Working in an arsenal, I hope to receive salary and bonuses from the Japanese every month so that I can use this money to make his wife, children and children live a good life. I don’t know that his family is having a good life, but other Chinese families are just for him.

The Japanese army made bullets and their families were destroyed. Some people were also confused and did not recognize the country and nation, and just ate and had their own food, drink and have fun. Look at how many suits and ties are in the dance halls in Peking, Tianjin and Shanghai, and the gentlemen and ladies are singing and dancing. It seems that

The xxx people did not invade China.

I think that at this stage, there is only one meaning of Chinese people living, that is, to fight against Japan and eliminate the devils. Our Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, Comrade Huang Su, Comrade Li Yimo, An Jingjing, Comrade Li Donghai, Comrade Guo Zheng and the Thousand who died were sacrificed

Millions of martyrs have given the best answer to why people live. They are the pride of the Chinese people, the backbone of the Chinese nation, the heroes that will be remembered forever for generations to come, and the heroes that we living people learn from.

role model.

To mourn Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, we must first establish the ideal and belief of striving for the liberation of the working people in the world. As we all know, Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng is a graduate of Huangpu. He did not follow their principal Chiang Kai-shek as the spokesperson of the chaebol like many Huangpu students, and

He chose to join the army and chose to follow xxx to conquer the world for the poor. A Huangpu student, a young talent who was once the "Young Soldier", the main contributor and chief writer of the Hankou Republic of China Daily, can get it as long as he is not a Red Army soldier.

A rich life with a bright and jingling in his pocket. Why did he follow xxx? It was because he saw through the essence of xxx and believed that only xxx could save China.

Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, and to establish a brave spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice and daring to sacrifice. When the Japanese special forces broke through our position, Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng could have retreated in time. However, he did not do so. Instead, he led the guards after ordering the command center to transfer.

The officer rushed to the gap in the position and fought a life-and-death battle with the Japanese. At the last moment of crisis, he still resolutely pulled the grenade and died with the Japanese. What kind of spirit is this? This is the revolutionary heroism spirit that overwhelms all enemies in our army, and it is fearless

Revolutionary courageous spirit. With such a spirit, our army will be invincible in the world!

To mourn Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, we must learn his noble character of pursuing truth and fighting against wrong lines. After Zhang Guotao arrived in Hubei, Henan and Anhui, he launched a extreme left line to crack down on and exclude Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng. When he arrived in the Sichuan-Shaanxi base, Zhang Guotao wanted to prevent Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng from

He exposes the crime of his crime of pursuing counter-counterfeiting and expanding, and even arrests Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng and almost shot him. At that time, Zhang Guotao ruled Hubei, Henan, Anhui, Sichuan and Shaanxi bases on the extreme left. Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng was not afraid of beheading and resolutely fought against him.

He is a noble character that is truly a person of xxx and a great man, and is worth learning from and imitating by every comrade of ours.

Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, we must learn from his spirit of good at learning summary and theoretical exploration. We are now engaged in guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines and mobile warfare. Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng is one of the earliest inventors of guerrilla warfare and mobile warfare theory. In the future, commanders and officers at all levels of our army will be

We must learn from our Chief of Staff Zeng, focus on learning and summary, and learn about war in war. War is actually competition in learning. Only an army that is good at learning is the most powerful army."

After Liu Yimin finished his lecture, representatives of various troops who attended the memorial service and representatives from all walks of life lined up to pay tribute to their remains. Then, Liu Yimin, Luo Ronghuan, Cai Zhong and others personally closed the lid of the coffin and carried the coffin out of the mourning hall. Under the guidance of the cavalry guard,

Go to the cemetery for burial.

The road to the cemetery was surrounded by cadres, soldiers and fellow villagers who came to attend the funeral. The cadres, soldiers, saluted with tears, and some of the fellow villagers carried bamboo baskets filled with paper money and scattered them as the coffin passed by. Every five,

Sixty meters away, there was an altar that the fellow villagers automatically placed with sacrifices on it. The mountains were filled with crying "Chief Zeng, well, walk" everywhere.

The cemetery was chosen on a mountain near Dadian. There were neat tombstones arranged on the hillside. It was the resting place for the martyrs who died in central and southern Shandong during this anti-sweeping battle. The heroic Eighth Route Army soldiers and local cadres were buried. and militia.

Liu Yimin originally wanted to bury Zeng Zhongsheng on the Anti-Japanese Mountain, but before he came back, Tan Zheng, Guo Hongtao, Li Yu and others had already chosen to bury the martyrs who died nearby. Let the old leader of these martyrs rest here in peace and commander. It is also a very good choice for them to break into the xxx ghost Hun in Yin.

After arriving at the cemetery, Liu Yimin, Luo Ronghuan, Cai Zhong and others went to the tomb chamber to check. The layout of the tomb chamber is the same as that of Huang Su, Li Yimo and Jingjing. They are all used in the tomb chambers behind the front and rear halls, tomb passages, Xiantangs, and tomb chambers. There are bricks and white ash arches, and a platform is specially built in the tomb chamber for placing coffins. On the front wall of Xiangtang is a portrait of Zeng Zhongsheng, and an altar is placed under the portrait. On the table is a residence of Zeng Zhongsheng, and an eternal light is lit around.

Feeling very satisfied, Liu Yimin ordered a burial.

When the coffin was sent into the tomb, Liu Yimin slowly closed the stone door with his own hands, then retreated, walked to the portrait of Zeng Zhongsheng in the main hall of Xiangtang, saluted, and said loudly: "Chief of Staff, I will go to Quantai to recruit old subordinates, and behead the flags of 100,000 to behead them. Yama. Rest in peace. Every time I win a great victory, I will ask my comrades to report to you."

As soon as Liu Yimin finished speaking, Luo Ronghuan, Cai Zhong and others who were following him could no longer help but cry.

When Liu Yimin, Luo Ronghuan and others came out of the tomb passage, the soldiers began to fill the soil and seal the tomb passage and erect monuments.

The front of the monument is engraved with the words "The great man, the proletarian military strategist, Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng, will be immortal!" The north is engraved with the dedication of the Central Committee of the **, xxx, and the Eighth Route Army Headquarters. The two sides are engraved with the Shandong Bureau and Shandong Military Region, The eulogy of the Shandong Anti-Japanese Democratic Senate and the "Eternal Monument - Commemorating Comrade Zeng Zhongsheng" written by Liu Yimin.

The wreaths woven with pine and cypress branches and flower baskets arranged in the mourning hall were moved to the cemetery and surrounded by monuments.

The funeral people had already lined up, followed Luo Ronghuan's order and marching, and then the guards fired their guns and finished their courtesy.
