Chapter 2168 magnificent waves

After taking Mauritius without a fight in early June, the Anjia Army Indian Ocean Fleet aircraft carrier task force continued its efforts and captured Reunion Island and Rodrigues Island east of Mauritius in the middle and late months respectively, connecting Madagascar with the Asia-Pacific region and the Australian mainland.

Completely isolated.

The Glorias Islands northwest of Madagascar also fell under the control of the Anjia Army at the end of June due to a surprise attack by two regiments of the Second Airborne Corps of the Anjia Army Air Force. This created a favorable strategic situation of "closing the door and beating the dog".

In the Pacific direction, the battle on Hainan Island achieved a decisive victory on April 25th and 26th. After that, the Japanese army's remaining defeated troops collapsed across the board.

Bow legs that can never run fast.

Especially when the Japanese army confronted the Anjia Army from Yongfa to Dongshan across the Nanjiang River, after receiving the news that all members of the headquarters, including the commander, were killed in the Qiongshan Battle, their morale quickly fell to the bottom. Even the grassroots commanders were fired.

The soldiers couldn't help the turmoil, and the Japanese who had lost their fighting spirit and hope were like stragglers. They huddled together in a mess, throwing all the bullshit Bushido spirit out of the sky. They trampled on each other, and threw their firearms and baggage everywhere, flowing like a tidal wave along the north bank of the South Crossing River.

, fled towards Dingcheng Town.

At the Nandu River ferry in the north of Dingcheng, the Japanese army was intercepted by two regiments of the Third Division of the 1st Airborne Corps of the Anjia Army who were waiting for work. The main force had to flee north along the Nandu River. As a result, every time they arrived at the ferry, they were attacked by the Anjia Army.

After intercepting the enemy, the Japanese army panicked and discovered that they had no way out.

The remnants of this Japanese army fled back and forth in the specific area formed by the Nandu River. It was not until mid-May that the last squadron was eliminated west of Baishuitang.

After annihilating the main force of the Japanese army in Hainan and the main generals of the headquarters in Xiuying Town and Qiongshan Town, An Jin immediately commanded the Guards Group in addition to leaving behind the paratroopers to maintain public security. The troops were divided into three groups, and the group army was used as a unit to march towards Yulin.

, Sanya, Lingshui, Beili and other places pursued fiercely.

The temperature in Hainan Island in April and May is already very high. With continuous fighting in such weather, officers and soldiers continue to suffer from heatstroke, and the number of cases of dysentery and convulsions continues to increase. The hot sun is baking on the body, and the officers and soldiers are all wet with sweat.

Through it, I printed maps one by one on my clothes.

The more the army goes south, the hotter it gets. Fortunately, the climate conditions in Indochina are not much different from those in Hainan. The officers and soldiers have adapted to this climate, so there are no larger-scale injuries and illnesses.

Along the way, the Japanese soldiers were frightened by the news and ran faster than rabbits.

At this time, Anjiajun's heavy equipment and transport vehicles had landed at Haikou Port, and some officers and soldiers could pursue the enemy in vehicles. But most of the troops still had to move on their own feet.

Although the Anjia Army was known for being able to run well and was particularly fond of mobilizing the enemy in motion, looking for favorable fighter opportunities to annihilate the enemy with superior force, the continuous long march was still too much, and many officers and soldiers had blisters on their feet. Then the blisters appeared again.

It turned into blood blisters, and every step was painful, but the officers and soldiers still gritted their teeth and limped forward.

Even though they look bad when walking, once they approach the Japanese army and the sound of gunshots is fired, each brave soldier instantly turns into a tiger descending from the mountain and a dragon entering the sea. Many Japanese soldiers consciously raise their hands in front of the majestic name of the Anjia Army.

He took his hand and became a prisoner that they had always disdained.

The Anjiajun East Army was composed of the Second Guards Army. They followed the Qiongwen Highway and penetrated directly into the Wenchang seaside. On May 1, they surrounded two Japanese infantry brigades in Tashi. The Japanese army resisted stubbornly, and a force of 2,000 people finally

Only more than two hundred prisoners were left, and the rest were all killed.

The next day, two Japanese squadrons stationed in Wenchang voluntarily surrendered. Then, I pursued the air force at Qinglan Port. I intercepted some of the Japanese troops who were preparing to board a ship at night to escape to Luzon Island. Subsequently, a regiment of paratroopers took over Wenchang.

A brigade of the National Defense and Democracy Movement Corps began to form a military control committee to eliminate the remaining enemies.

After pacifying the enemy in Wenchang, the Second Guards Army continued to march toward Jiaji Town, where Qionghai County is located, and met with the Third Army's Ninth Guards Division outside Jiaji Town on May 5.

The 9th Guards Division was actually the unit responsible for the pursuit in the middle. After the Japanese troops on the north bank of the Nandu River were defeated, part of them used the night to swim across the Nandu River, gathered with the Japanese troops in Hsinchu, Leiming, Longmen, Tuncheng, Longhe and other places, and followed the

The road from Chengmai to Qionghai runs towards Jiaji Town.

The Japanese army lost their military resources and felt uncertain about their future. They simply broke into pieces and looted houses along the way. They committed all kinds of evil and burned, killed and looted the villages they passed. Hundreds of ordinary people died under the bayonets of the Japanese. The Japanese who followed were chasing after them.

The Ninth Guards Division received strong support from the local people. They provided intelligence to the troops and took a shortcut to intercept the Japanese army. They advanced directly from Longmen Ridge through the mountain road to Meiziling, blocking the Japanese army in the area west of Meiziling.

On May 2, after occupying favorable terrain and controlling surrounding key points, the Anjia Army launched an attack on the Japanese army from a high position. In order to gain a chance of survival, the Japanese army resisted desperately, using the houses in Hanlin Town as bunkers and setting up machine guns to block the streets. They climbed over the mountains all the way.

Although the Anjia officers and soldiers who came from the mountain lacked heavy equipment, they still had an absolute advantage against the Japanese army. They used fierce attacks and rapid charges to quickly compress the encirclement without giving the Japanese army any chance to breathe.

After a day of fierce fighting, more than 1,600 Japanese soldiers were killed at the cost of more than 200 people. Due to the brutal behavior of the Japanese army, no prisoners were left in this battle.

After destroying this Japanese army, the 9th Guards Division had almost exhausted its food and ammunition. After contacting the headquarters, it was ordered to go east to Jiaji Town. At this time, the 6th Division of the 2nd Guards Army had already captured Jiaji and captured the Japanese.

More than 300 people, 32 artillery pieces of various calibers, and more than 110 mortars and grenade launchers were seized.

The Ninth Guards Division rested for two days in Jiaji, and then followed the East Route Army southward.

In the early morning of May 9, the forward troops of the Third Guards Army pursued Wanning County. The Japanese covering troops occupying the Dongshan Ridge of Wanning County were covering the remaining Japanese troops and were using the darkness to board warships from Wuchang Port to prepare to escape to Luzon Island.

, suddenly heard the rumbling sound of artillery coming from far and near, and the entire Dongshan Ridge was quickly covered by artillery fire. The Japanese army was frightened for a moment, and collapsed without a fight. They rolled and crawled away from the Dongshan Ridge and rushed to board the ship first.

I no longer care about protecting others.

For a time, the entire port was in chaos, with you pushing and fighting, and each other refused to give in. The Japanese troops crowded each other, and many people were squeezed into the sea. At first, they could flop a few times and call for help to the people on the ship, but the people on the ship could not save themselves.

.Who is willing to give up his own chance of escape to save others? The Japanese soldiers who fell into the sea were quickly swallowed up by the waves and died with their eyes open.

Two hours later, the forward troops of the Anjia Army broke into the port area. The Japanese warships hurriedly weighed their anchors. At least a thousand Japanese soldiers fell into the sea and drowned. About 1,400 Japanese soldiers who had no time to escape were killed.

Prisoners. The huge wealth that the Japanese army plundered from Hainan, including gold, silver and various currencies such as US dollars and pounds, was left behind on the dock.

Just two days later, the same scene happened again in Lingshui County.

Due to the threat from the Anjiajun air force, the Japanese army could only use the darkness to cover the ships docking to evacuate the troops. Therefore, all the Japanese troops in Lingshui County gathered at Xincun Port to prepare to board the ship. However, they did not expect that the Anjiajun came so quickly and almost without stopping.

Immediately proceed from the county seat to Xincun Port.

Xinchun Port is located on a bay that looks like an elephant's trunk. Opposite the bay is Nanwan Ridge. The peak mountain in the southeast of Nanwan Ridge is called Jianling. On the sea outside Jianling, there are Japanese Navy warships parked because the water in the bay is shallow.

The warships could not approach Sinchon Port, so the Japanese army could only seize the fishing boats of nearby fishermen, force the fishermen to row their oars, and use wooden boats to send the Japanese onto the warships.

The Japanese troops raced for their lives and squeezed against the wooden boats. The wooden boats were overloaded and were crushed before they even got close to the warships. As a result, many Japanese soldiers drowned.

The Japanese warships are waiting in the open sea and must leave before dawn. To avoid being hit by Anjiajun fighter planes, there is not much time available to respond to the troops. They can only repeatedly ask the troops on the shore to speed up the evacuation. Unfortunately, the wooden boats are limited.

In addition, some more were turned over, and the Japanese soldiers who stayed on the shore were stamping their feet in anxiety.

Originally, the Third Guards Army was able to quickly advance towards the port, but due to darkness, there was a misunderstanding with the Third Guards Division approaching from the south. The two sides exchanged fire fiercely in Qugang Village, and they waited for a quarter of an hour before contacting each other.

Fortunately, since the two armies were fighting in the vanguard, there were no casualties. Otherwise, I would not know how to write a post-war battle report.

The two sides merged into one force and headed toward Xincun Port in the southeast.

In Xincun Port, the Japanese army built three forts in a Z-shaped formation, with bunkers under the forts. The Anjia army, which originally carried rocket launchers and recoilless rifles, was able to carry out attacks, but of course it would require certain sacrifices. Just as the attack was about to be launched,

A white flag was raised on the fort. The attentive frontline commander was worried that this was a trick by the Japanese army, so he asked the Japanese army to throw out their guns and raise their hands to walk out of the fort. The Japanese army was indeed unwilling to fight, especially since this unit was responsible for the rear, and there was no hope of survival.

, simply lay down your weapons and surrender as ordered.

The Anjia Army quickly took over the fort, which greatly accelerated the troops' attack on Xincun Port.

When the Japanese troops at Xincun Port saw the Anjia Army attacking, they were unable to resist in a hurry. The Japanese troops who had not boarded the boats were pushed into the sea. A small number of them drowned in despair, and the rest were taken as prisoners.

A total of more than 5,400 Japanese soldiers were captured in this battle, which was the Eastern Route Army's biggest gain since the pursuit was launched.

After clearing the Japanese troops on the east coast, the first phase of the Eastern Route Army's goal was successfully achieved. Subsequently, one of the three main divisions of the Second Guards Army was left to cooperate with the paratroopers in mopping up the local Wang Puppet regime armed forces and the remnants of the Japanese army, and the remaining

The two divisions set out from Lingshui County and entered the mountainous areas of central Hainan to encircle and suppress the Japanese troops who had retreated from Sanya and the Hainan coast to Wuzhishan and Limuling.

In Wanning before that, the 9th Guards Division had already begun to turn towards Qiongzhong, Baisha and other inland areas of Hainan.

The actions of the Central and West Route armies were basically similar to the march of the East Route Army. By mid-May, the coast of Hainan was basically recovered, and the Shilu Iron Mine completely fell into the hands of the Anjia Army, rescuing more than 30,000 miners.

In late May and throughout June, the Anjia Army Guards Group, which was assisted by Feng Baiju's guerrillas, was stationed in Baocheng Town, Xiangshui Town, Chongshan Town, Maoyang Town, Panyang Town, Wanchong Town and other places, with Watian.

The remnants of the Japanese army led by Yoshitaka conducted continuous operations.

With the Qiongya Red Army, a living map that had long been rooted in the Wuzhi Mountains, as a guide, the Japanese army became smaller and smaller in scale, and the organization became more chaotic. On June 29, Wada Yoshitaka and more than 100 remaining troops were blocked in Nanhe.

In Maodao Village in the central part of the country, Yoshitaka Wada committed suicide by caesarean section, and the remaining Japanese troops launched a suicide attack under the leadership of the commander. They were all "broken into pieces", which represented the disappearance of the last Japanese armed force in Hainan.

In order to thank the Communist Party and the Qiongya Red Army for their help, the Nanhua government expanded the Qiongya guerrillas, which had only more than 200 people left after fighting, into a regiment, and provided all the Anjia Army's active equipment for free. After helping with training for half a year, the Qiongya guerrillas were sent by special plane

He was sent to the front line in North Africa and joined forces with the Japanese Expeditionary Force fighting there, making a huge contribution to the world anti-fascist war.

With the Hainan war coming to a perfect conclusion, the series of operations commemorating the 17th anniversary of the founding of the Anjia Army were all successful. Now it depends on the results of the Anjia Army's Middle East Front marching into Egypt and the Indian Ocean Front's attack on Madagascar.

At the same time, on the Soviet-German battlefield, the Soviet army, which had continuously received weapons and equipment assistance from the East through the Siberian Railway and the Central Asian Railway, was preparing to launch the most ferocious counterattack against the German army. On the North American continent, the US military would also accumulate strength for many years.

, including the three armies of the Chinese army sent by the Anjia Army to train and serve as instructors at all levels, joined in the counterattack against the Japanese army. In North Africa, the Allied forces, mainly composed of the British, French, Chinese and American troops, were also brewing plans to launch military operations from Tunisia and Algeria.

, launched an attack on Libya where the German and Italian troops were entrenched, and cut off the energy supply of the Axis forces.

Since then, the world war has entered the most spectacular page!
