942 , Yu Fei is shocked when he hears the Dharma

Cheng Tianle wondered: "What else do you have to ask me for help? If I get a green card, I can't help it."

Yu Fei: "Of course not this. It's not a big trouble to say that the green card is just complaining. It's not a big trouble. There's something wrong with my family right now. It's such a headache... Mr. Cheng, I lied to you back then, but now I've run to the United States but encountered this kind of thing again. Do you think this is retribution?"

Cheng Tianle became more and more curious as he listened: "What happened to your family?"

Yu Fei: "This time I made an appointment with a few friends to visit Huangshi Park, including my boss and his family. My wife would have gone with me, but she suddenly had something to do in Seattle. She organized an event with a group of locals, and was also responsible for convening a group of classmates and friends I have known over the years, discussing how to welcome a nun from Taiwan and what to organize a Hong**de Conference!"

Yu Fei told a story about something that happened recently at home. His job in a software company is to provide technical support and home-based debugging services, and he often travels to various cities on the west coast of the United States. About half a year ago, he found that his wife Xiao Qin was studying Buddhism at home, and he didn't know where to get a bunch of Dharma-propaganda materials, but he didn't pay much attention at the time because this was not a bad thing.

Not long ago, my wife told him that the famous Buddhist master, Master Kuanru, was about to come to North America to spread the Dharma. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and fate! Yu Fei had never heard of the name of Master Kuanru. According to Xiao Qin, this master came from Taiwan Province, China and was the president of a World Association. The enlightenment process of this monk was very mysterious. When he was chanting the scriptures, he saw a sky flower emerging in front of him, and Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared in his Dharma body. He ordered her to spread the wonderful Dharma in the world.

So the nun started from Taiwan, went around mainland China, and then came to North America. According to the swearing proclaimed by her disciple, Master Kuanru was the incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva, with boundless magic, which could allow him to have a chance to fully understand his life, and there were many stories or miracles.

For example, a certain leukemia patient listened to her and converted to the "Medical Mountain" and was immediately cured. For example, a certain rich man donated a lot of wealth to the "Medical Mountain", and then the blessings in the world rolled in. The so-called "Medical Mountain" is a practice organization established by Master Kuanru, in the name of promoting merit.

Such an amazing person who wants to come to Seattle to preach the Dharma will of course have his disciples who will be in advance to organize local believers to prepare for the event. The Chinese circle is their most important scope of activities. Introducing more people to listen to the Dharma is said to be a great merit. Yu Fei's lover Xiao Qin is obviously one of the very active active members. She introduced many classmates, friends and neighbors and also pulled her husband Yu Fei away.

Master Kuanru has not arrived yet, and Yu Fei attended the disciple of Master Kuanru. It is said that he was also a Dharma propaganda tour guide hosted by a great master Chen Mengyuan. Yu Fei had no research on Buddhism, but he just accompanied his wife to watch the fun. But the more he listened, the more he felt something was wrong. Although he did not understand Buddhism, he had been in the pyramid scheme gang for so long and was very sensitive to some brainwashing methods to cheat money.

Buddhism and Buddhism have been circulated for more than two thousand years. Since ancient times, literati and poets often quote a few classics when reciting poems or not. But in today's information age, it is not difficult to collect and organize relevant scripture annotations and modern explanations. They are borrowed by different people for different purposes.

At the Dharma Assembly, the "Mengyuan layman" first talked about a set of universal compassion and persuasion of kindness, combining various Buddhist allusions. Yu Fei did not understand the metaphysical philosophical thinking, but he did not hear any problems. At least 99% of what Chen Mengyuan said, it is usually difficult for people to pick out any mistakes unless a real master asked him one by one.

But the remaining one percent of the content made Yu Fei frightened because this lay Buddhist Meng Yuan focused on "merit". After hearing so many secrets of Buddhism, how can the lay Buddhists here practice diligently and gain inner self-confidence and light? Of course, they require the so-called merit! Kuan Ru, the master spreading Dharma in the human world, made great wishes to achieve a mountain of merit, so their practice organization is called the mountain of merit.

Mr. Mengyuan told everyone that if your heart is not peaceful enough and if you are still suffering, please examine your true soul and accumulate real merit. How to do it specifically is actually donating money. Mr. Mengyuan also told many stories that are said to be "real stories". The result will be like the same as someone donated to the Mount of Merit.

Someone at the scene said he wanted to do good deeds. Yu Fei even suspected that these people had arranged a pre-arranged responsibilities, but later found that at least not all of them were. A classmate he met during his study abroad was a third-generation red and a second-generation rich. Now he owns many industries in Seattle, USA. He actually said he would donate a large mansion to serve as a "dodge" for Master Kuanru to preach the Dharma in Seattle.

Mr. Meng Yuan also claimed that the more you donate, the more merits you have. If you don’t have spare money at hand, borrowing money to do merit will show your sincerity and get the protection of Buddhism! It was this statement that made Yu Fei sweat. It would be fine if the guys on the stage encouraged the believers in the stage to donate, but even encouraged those who were not well-off to borrow money to donate to them everywhere, and they actually said that they were doing merits.

As a "experienced person", Yu Fei thought about it, the more he felt that this group of people seemed to be engaged in pyramid schemes, but they had changed into two or one skin. After he went home, he searched the Internet for information about the so-called "Master Kuanru" and "Mongde Mountain". There was indeed a lot of information on the Internet, mostly praises of Master Kuanru by "believers" from various places, as well as the publicity of various wonderful Dharma and miracles. It seemed that he was a Bodhisattva alive.

But Yu Fei was doing it after all, filtered the information and found that the so-called International XX Association was a non-governmental organization that could register for itself for a few thousand dollars. But he did not find any records of Master Kuan Ru's monks and taking the ordination. After a long time, he was a nun without a single day.

Yu Fei felt the more he was wrong, so he quickly checked his bank account. Sure enough, in addition to the normal expenses, he had been spending 5,000 US dollars inexplicably. Yu Fei's life was not too abundant, but he had been in the United States for many years after all. He worked during his studies and had a relatively stable white-collar job after graduation. Out of the traditional Chinese habits, he still had some savings at hand. He planned to buy a house in the suburbs of Seattle in the future, but now he has lost so much.

He quickly asked his wife Xiao Qin, but unexpectedly learned that he had donated to Gongde Mountain while he was not at home. Yu Fei became popular at the time and asked her why she had to donate such a large sum of money without authorization. However, his wife Xiao Qin explained that all the classmates and friends who participated in the Dharma Assembly had donated, and she, the convener, was embarrassed to not take the lead. Moreover, under the influence of the atmosphere at that time, she felt that only by doing this was the correct pursuit of life, and the so-called money was not important.

Yu Fei could no longer scold Xiao Qin because he knew how kind and enthusiastic she was, so he had to talk about his doubts with great sincerity and dissuade her from being involved in this kind of thing again. Yu Fei's opinion, Chen Mengyuan and the group of Kuanru nuns behind him were cheating money under the guise of spreading the Dharma. Xiao Qin was skeptical and used many of the "Buddha Virtue" theories he heard at the Dharma Assembly to question Yu Fei. The debate rose to this philosophical level of plausibleness, and Yu Fei was a little unable to withstand it.

But no matter what, Yu Fei still asked Xiao Qin not to continue participating in the so-called missionary gang activities. Xiao Qin was actually a little moved, but she still told Yu Fei in a difficult situation that she was the convener of the nearby area to welcome Master Kuanru's Dharma propaganda, and she received a lot of praise and attention for this. It is probably not appropriate to just give up and say no to do it.

After graduation, Xiao Qin did not have a job and participated in and organized various activities and gatherings, not only because of her interest, but also a way of life and socializing. She met many Chinese students during her college years, and after graduation, she also participated in many gatherings in the Chinese circle. She was very enthusiastic about organizing activities and could also find spiritual pleasure and satisfaction.

Since she came into contact with this "Dafa Propaganda" organization, she has also convened several small Dharma meetings as a contact person. She was respected by the lay Buddhist Meng Yuan and was highly valued in this small circle. Some people always praise her for her merits in spreading the Dharma and her merits. As the saying goes, it is not easy to go down the stage if she is praised, so Xiao Qin decided to finish the rest. If there is really something wrong, he will find an opportunity to slowly fade out.

This time Yu Fei was traveling out, he had an appointment with several colleagues. However, Xiao Qin stayed in Seattle for a while because the local Gongde Mountain branch organized a preparatory meeting on how to welcome Master Kuanru. The content of the meeting was very specific, and basically active members were responsible for contacting relatives and friends to participate in the Dharma Assembly. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it was only for private communication. The news was not made public to the outside world. Whoever could come was the fate and wisdom.

Yu Fei finally said, "Mr. Cheng, I have no research on Buddhism and other things. Even though I know what those people do, I can't convince my wife completely. I know that you are a capable person and are called Cheng Master in Suzhou. Can you give me some advice and tell me what to do?"

Cheng Tianle frowned and said, "I am not a master, nor am I a Buddhist. But I have seen a true monk and great master, so it is absolutely impossible to be that kind of person! As for what to think and what to do when encountering such a thing, it is actually not that complicated. Just think according to the normal way of thinking."
