Chapter 12 The Coincidence of Tianhai University

Tianhai University is located in the east of Antai Street, Tianhai City. It is a key comprehensive institution of higher learning. At the south entrance, there are tall and elegant marble door pillars, a hollow iron gate painted with gold leaf paint, a wide driveway, and arc-shaped multi-layers on both sides of the gate.

The large flower stand and the unique water-folding sketch all highlight the excellence of the school.

It was half past eight in the morning, which was the time for students to attend class. The school gate was bustling with activity. Students carrying books in their arms walked through the gate in groups of three or two and hurried toward the teaching building.

There was an old bicycle parked east of the gate, with a rectangular foam insulated box tied to the rear frame. A thin man wearing a gray cotton-padded jacket and a black woolen hat stood beside it, packing his things.

Although this was not in harmony with the campus atmosphere, the students were in a hurry and did not pay attention to it.

The man looked around carefully, took out a steaming bun from the insulator, took a bite, and then broke it in half.

"Hot steamed buns! Thin crust and big fillings. They don't taste good and don't cost any money!"

Along with the energetic shouting, a rich mixed aroma spread out, immediately attracting the attention of the surrounding students.

"It smells so good, I dare say it tastes better than the buns from Xilaishun in the north of the city." A man with glasses said with his nose twitching.

"Wang Ertou, your treat."

"Why me?" A boy with short hair said dissatisfiedly.

"Who told you to play cards last night and make a fool of yourself? My brothers didn't have breakfast. I'll spare you if I treat you to buns."

"Yes, yes, yes. Otherwise, you will bleed profusely and treat us to Pizza Hut pizza." Several boys, including the man with glasses, agreed unanimously.

Forced to have no choice but to go to the bun stall, the short-haired boy asked the stall owner:

"How much does a bun cost?"

"Three dollars."

"What? Are you crazy about money? There are no such expensive buns in the whole city!" The short-haired man was shocked and his wallet was about to suffer.

"Classmate, my buns are green farm food, pure natural and pollution-free. If you have to find a second store with such a pure aroma, I will give you a whole box of buns for free. Nowadays, clenbuterol, waste oil, and growth hormone are everywhere.

Those are cheap, because long-term consumption will ensure you don’t grow unwanted stuff on your body." Li Youran said with a smile.

"You!" The short-haired man was speechless. He turned to the other boys and said:

"How about we go eat the steamed buns from Lao Cai in the cafeteria, beef and green onions."

Several boys gathered around him, their mouths watering from the aroma, so they couldn't let him go easily.

"Go! Are the buns at Lao Cai's place meant for human consumption? He can turn cockroaches into stuffing."

"Hurry up and pay! Three for each person. Otherwise, we will kick you out of the dormitory at night and freeze you to a stick."

The short-haired man looked sad and had to order fifteen steamed buns.

The wolves cheered and stretched out their claws to grab it.

"Wow, it's delicious." "Damn, it's so fragrant." "It's so awesome!"

"Wang Ertou, good brother, I will continue to play cards with you tonight."

The pictures of boys eating and the overflowing aroma attracted more students, and Li Youran's bun box was surrounded by water.

It should be said that the spending power of students nowadays is really not limited. As long as the food is delicious, they are willing to spend money. Not only the boys, but also some girls, regardless of their restraint, walked to class while biting the buns.

The number of steamed buns is decreasing at an alarming rate, and the well-trained stall owners collect money, change money, pick up goods, and bag them in a quick and orderly manner.

Perhaps it was because the class time was approaching and the number of students in front of the steamed bun stall gradually decreased.

At this time, a red Mazda 3 drove towards the school gate. When passing by the steamed bun stall, it slowed down and then stopped again.

The car door opened, and as a pair of graceful calves wearing black boots landed, a slim girl wearing a light brown woolen coat got up and got out of the car. She looked at the bun stall, with a look of surprise on her fair and bright face.

.

The girl turned around, bent down and smiled at the other girl in the driver's seat, and said:

"Yao Yao, wait for me a moment."

Li Youran happened to look at the girl, and it was her! He recognized her at a glance, with the same familiar demeanor and smile.

Damn it, how could we meet here? Oops. Li Youran complained secretly, turned his head and pretended not to see it.

The girl approached the bun stall, her black hair draped over her shoulders naturally and casually, and her two bright eyes shining brightly. She immediately attracted the attention of many passing students.

"Li... Youran, is that you?" The girl's voice was as sweet as rock candy, but there was a hint of doubt.

Seemingly unable to escape, Li Youran had no choice but to turn around and look surprised.

"Ling Wanru, it's you, haha, what a coincidence." Li Youran laughed a few times.

"Are you in this business?" The girl's eyes showed an incredible look.

"Yeah, I can't find a job after graduating from college, so I have no choice but to do this. Unexpectedly, haha." Seeing that he couldn't escape anyway, Li Youran was heartbroken and decided to risk it all.

"Baozi! Hot big meaty buns!" Li Youran raised a stick in his neck and shouted loudly on purpose.

The girl burst out laughing and covered her mouth with her hands.

"As expected, it's Li Youran. He hasn't changed at all. He can sell steamed buns so confidently and righteously. Do I bring so much pressure to you?"

Li Youran choked, and his throat suddenly seemed to be deflated, and he could no longer shout.

"Okay, I have something else to do, so I won't affect your business." The girl smiled. Her smile was as bright as the sun, enough to melt glaciers. It made Li stunned.

"Bring me three buns and let me have a taste of your cooking skills."

Li Youran took out three buns from the incubator like a reflex, put them in a plastic bag, and handed them to the girl's slender hands.

"How much?" The girl opened her wallet.

"No...no money, please." Li Youran found to her chagrin that she had become clumsy and tongue-tied for no apparent reason.

"Really, then I'm not welcome. I'll treat you next time." The girl took the bun bag and took out a piece of paper.

"This is my business card. If you have any questions in the future, please contact me. By the way, give me your mobile phone number."

Li Youran read out a string of Arabic numerals, and then watched the girl turn around and leave gracefully, like a cloud.

The car drove into the campus quickly.

Li Youran held the business card with lingering fragrance, feeling at a loss.

"Hey! Bun seller, what are you doing? Bring me five buns." A female voice sounded, and Li Youran woke up. In front of him was a fat girl with dots of freckles, looking at him impatiently with her eyes wide open.

Own.

Li Youran hurriedly picked up the goods and collected the money. After finishing his work, he glanced at the business card in his hand.

"Ling Wanru, assistant professor of the Chinese Department of Tianhai University"

It seems that she stayed in school to teach, Li Youran thought. Then he shook his head, what does this have to do with him?

Li Youran patted his head, drove away the messy thoughts, and continued to do his own thing.

**********************

That night, Li Youran tossed and turned in bed, suffering from insomnia. The distant high school days, the school, the playground, and the fun

Students, the class teacher who makes a bad face all day long, are constantly circulating in my mind like a revolving lantern, and the slightly young girl is so excellent; the days when I am forced to hand in homework are sweet and confusing.

In the haze, I was hiding in the woods after the graduation party, and the beautiful figure retreating...
