Chapter 32 Major Inspection

On the morning of the Lantern Festival, the bun shop was open as usual, and the long queue in front of the door was still there. But no one knew that on this seemingly ordinary day, a storm was about to come.

Li Youran and Gu Weiwei went to the bank to go through the formalities. Aunt Qi was in charge of the store, and all the clerks were in their places, busy in the kitchen, lobby, and takeout area.

At around 11 o'clock, a white Toyota Corolla turned into the Shigu Lane intersection, drove directly to the Baozi Shop, and stopped on the opposite side of the road in front of the store.

The rear door opened, and two men in uniforms and big hats got out of the car, one on the left and the other on the right, and walked straight to the store door. The man in front was about thirty years old, of medium height, with a long face, high cheekbones, and a somewhat pale complexion.

Huang, a pair of small eyes flashing with cold gaze.

Behind him was a young man in his twenties, with a taller build, clear facial contours, thick eyebrows and big eyes, tight lips, and followed closely behind him, holding a black briefcase.

The two pushed open the door and walked into the bun shop hall under the strange looks of many customers. Zhao Cuihua came forward and was a little surprised when she saw the visitor's clothes.

"You two, you...this is..." Zhao Cuihua's words were obviously not as crisp as usual.

The long-faced man slowly glanced around the hall, and then said to Zhao Cuihua:

"We are the health inspectors of this district. My name is Wang Xiang and his name is Peng Youjie. We are now conducting a health inspection on your store. Please cooperate. Who is in charge of your store now?"

Wang Xiang's voice was calm and cold.

The originally lively atmosphere in the hall suddenly solidified and became tense, and the regular customers focused their attention on these two uninvited guests.

Aunt Qi rushed over from behind after hearing the news. When she saw the situation in the hall, she immediately had an ominous premonition. She had many years of experience as a hawker, and she always had a shadow in her heart when she saw the big hat.

"I am in charge here. What do you two need?" Aunt Qi rubbed her hands and walked to Wang Xiang bravely.

"Take me to your kitchen. We need to check. Also, collect the health certificates of all the staff in your store." Wang Xiang didn't waste any time and went straight to the point.

"Well, then, please come this way." Aunt Qi had no choice but to lead Wang Xiang, and at the same time motioned to Zhao Cuihua to collect the health certificate.

The group of people all went to the kitchen, and there was a lot of discussion and buzzing in the hall.

Mr. Fang, dressed in a Tang suit, was sitting at the dining table next to the door. On the plate on the table were two leftover steamed buns. He put down the soy milk cup, looked at Wang Xiang's back, frowned, and was thoughtful.

Xiao Zhang sat next to him, paying attention to the old man's expression, but hesitated to speak.

In the back kitchen of the bun shop, Wang Xiang stood in the center of the room, observing the surrounding environment, while Peng Youjie carefully inspected the stove, operation room, disinfection cabinet and other facilities one by one. Aunt Qi accompanied him on the side, with a complex expression.

Feng Daniu, Uncle Qi and other clerks gathered outside the glass partition of the kitchen, looking at the two supervisors anxiously.

Wang Xiang's eyes fell on the two large water tanks. He narrowed his eyes slightly, stepped forward and reached out to remove the lids.

"What is this?" Wang Xiang said as he leaned closer and smelled it with his nose.

"It's filled with water." Aunt Qi replied in a low voice.

"Is it drinking water?"

"Ah, yes, this is the mountain spring water we specially enter."

"Mountain spring water?" Wang Xiang's mouth corners curved, his voice also filled with sarcasm: "Do you have a certificate of origin, an inspection report and a production license?"

"This... we have been using this water. This water is very clean. You can check it. And we replace it with new ones every day, and the customers' response is very good." Aunt Qi was very anxious when she saw that she had been caught.

Wang Xiang shook his head and motioned to Peng Youjie to record it. Peng Youjie took out a list from his briefcase and wrote on it.

"Have you collected all the health certificates?" Wang Xiang asked next.

"Yes, we all have them." Zhao Cuihua quickly handed a stack of cards to Wang Xiang's hand.

Wang Xiang walked out of the kitchen, checked the health certificates one by one, and finally saw Qi Song, who was wearing work clothes and packing things at the corner of the stairs.

"Where's his?" Wang Xiang pointed his finger at it.

Aunt Qi came over quickly and said to Wang Xiang with a smile:

"That's my son. He's still a student. He's not a regular employee of the store. He came to help during the winter vacation."

Wang Xiang snorted lightly and his tone became stern;

"Temporary help? Then you can't be responsible for the health of customers?! The problem in your store is very serious. Has your boss participated in the training of the Health Bureau? How did you obtain the health license?"

Sun Xiaoying's face turned pale. She quickly ran to the nearby warehouse, took out the red flip phone, and dialed Li Youran's number.

"Hey, it's Xiaoying. If you want to eat something, my brother will bring it back to you later." Li Youran's relaxed voice came from the receiver.

"Brother Youran, come back quickly, something happened in the store!" Sun Xiaoying's voice was trembling.

"What? Xiaoying, what happened?" Li Youran also became anxious.

"Brother Youran, the health inspector is here and he is looking for faults. Come back quickly!" Sun Xiaoying hung up the phone after saying that.

Wang Xiang winked at Peng Youjie over there, and Peng Youjie took out a plastic bag and took a few buns from the basket and put them in. Then the two of them strode towards the front hall, followed closely by Aunt Qi and others.

Seeing this formation, the old customers also felt that the situation was not good, and the hall was suddenly filled with a chaotic buzz.

Wang Xiang seemed to be used to this kind of scene. He stood in front of the counter and said loudly to the people in the hall:

"Everyone, be quiet, be quiet." Wang Xiang said, reaching out and making a downward movement.

The chatter among the customers was indeed much quieter.

"Everyone, we are people's health inspectors, and it is our sacred duty to protect people's lives, health, and safety. Let me tell you now that after inspection, this bun shop has serious problems. Some employees do not have health certificates and pose health risks.

In order to save money, the kitchen uses drinking water from unknown sources, completely ignoring the health of customers and the regulations of the Health Bureau. The nature is very bad."

The hall suddenly became chaotic again, and the old customers couldn't believe this and started shouting one after another.

"We come here to eat every day. The food here is the best on the whole street. Don't talk nonsense!"

"Is there a problem with the water? Try the soy milk and rice porridge here. When we get old, will our tongues fail?"

"Get out, get out, don't affect our meal."

"Look elsewhere if you want to check!"

There was a lot of noise in the lobby, which also affected the long queue outside. Because no one was seen at the takeout counter, everyone asked each other about the reason. I heard that the health inspector was causing trouble inside, and the crowd quickly became impatient, and many customers left the queue.

, I wanted to rush into the store. For a while, the door of the store was crowded and crowded.

Wang Xiang was a little surprised. It was unheard of before for customers to protect the store to such an extent. However, after all, he had been doing this for many years, so he quickly calmed down and dropped a bombshell.

"Everyone, everyone, calm down, calm down. I can understand that you are not professionals and are deceived by this store. Here, I want to tell you one more thing." Wang Xiang paused here.

The noise dropped again, and everyone wanted to hear what the supervisor had to say.

"We have received reports from the public that this bun shop uses illegal and addictive condiments in the fillings that are clearly stipulated by the Ministry of Health. We have taken samples and are going to go back for testing immediately. We will inform everyone when we have the results."

Like a stone that stirred up a thousand ripples, when the news came out, the crowd inside and outside the store were all shocked. After all, most people are not gourmets and have no professional ability to distinguish the source of delicious food. Moreover, for many years, the big cap has still been popular among the masses.

It's certainly prestigious.

After a while, the people who had woken up were talking, shouting, and cursing with bewildered faces, and even quarreled with each other because of different opinions. The North Street of Shigu Lane was in chaos, and the traffic was almost blocked.

The bosses of nearby stores went out to watch the excitement, with expressions of gloating on their faces.
