Chapter 6 The Adventures of Antai Road

Early the next morning, Li Youran pedaled a tricycle and arrived at yesterday's market, still under the old poplar tree. The difference was that Sun Xiaoying followed behind pushing an old bicycle. The two quickly packed up.

Household items and steamed buns are placed in the pot and steamed.

After a while, the first few drawers of steamed buns came out. Li Youran took out a foam insulated box from the tricycle, laid gauze on the bottom of the box, then placed the steaming steamed buns in the insulated box in order, and then covered them with a layer of cotton quilt.

Finally seal the lid.

"Brother Youran, be careful." Sun Xiaoying bit her lower lip with her teeth, her eyes full of worry.

"Don't worry, I'll leave this to you." Li Youran smiled gently, tied the incubator to the rear frame of the bicycle, put on a shoulder bag, easily jumped on the bike, and headed north.

Antai Road is located in a prosperous area. West Street is a gathering area for office buildings, department stores, and boutiques. There are two adjacent universities in the east. One of them is Tianhai University, a key university in Tianhai City, and the other is a normal college.

White-collar workers, businessmen, and students account for the majority of the crowd on this street. Although it is still early, it is already much more lively than other places.

Li Youran rode here and found his destination, the overpass located east of Antai Road. There were already many vendors setting up stalls on the sidewalks on both sides of the bridge, selling snacks and small general merchandise.

.

Li Youran pushed his bicycle along the staircase slope of the overpass to the upper part of the overpass. There were very few vendors here, probably because in comparison, the flow of people was not as much as on the sidewalk below. But Li Youran was still very satisfied and put the bicycle

OK, untie the rope on the rear frame.

The number of pedestrians began to increase, so Li Youran took the time to start selling. The market consumption capacity here was indeed extraordinary, and the steamed buns in the insulated box were very popular, and their number was rapidly decreasing.

Li Youran carefully observed the roads on both sides while picking up the goods and collecting money.

At about nine o'clock, something happened. An ordinary-looking van drove up the road from east to west, followed by an old Jetta without any markings.

Li Youran sensitively smelled a hint of danger.

Just like the classic line in some movie: Enter the village secretly and don’t want to shoot anyone.

Sure enough, the two cars drove slowly to where the vendors were gathered. Suddenly, the car door opened suddenly, and a dozen people in uniforms rushed out.

Only then did the street vendors react, as if they had been stung by a wasp, and their nests suddenly exploded. There were cries and howls. All kinds of fruits, vegetables, snacks, and haberdashery were everywhere, making a mess.

Almost at the same time, a van drove quickly from the east side of the road, and reinforcements arrived, forming a pincer attack.

My heroic urban management warrior, who has the great trust of the motherland and the people, with a fearless spirit and risking his own life, launched a desperate struggle against the evil hawkers who were armed to the teeth, and composed a heroic hymn that can be sung and cried.

An old hawker with a wretched appearance tried to escape justice. He was thrown to the ground by a well-trained urban management soldier with a sharp grasp. He was immediately unable to move. The apples used in the crime rolled down from his back and were trampled to pieces.

.

Another vendor who was riding a three-wheeler tried to force his way in, but he obeyed under the iron fist.

More vendors were shivering and squatting on the ground with their heads in their hands.

There were more and more people watching, many of whom were students. Seeing the heroic appearance of the urban management soldiers, everyone was filled with admiration. A certain student wearing glasses suddenly became inspired by poetry and chanted loudly:

"The strong wind is blowing, the clouds are flying, and the city guards are guarding all directions! How majestic!"

"What a poem, what a poem!" There was a round of applause.

"Anyone who offends the city management will be punished no matter how far away! Mighty!" Another person was not willing to be inferior to the poets with glasses, and also dedicated his own masterpiece.

People cheered one after another, and the cheers and whistles of praise could be heard endlessly.

Strangely, in the face of the cheers and encouragement from the people, the urban management soldiers did not seem to appreciate it. Among them, the tall urban management captain even glared at the enthusiastic crowd. When the cheers died down, the captain waved his hand coolly.

, commanding the troops to continue pursuing the victory.

Because of his condescending position, Li Youran noticed the danger immediately and responded quickly. It only took him a few seconds to pack up the incubator, then took out several paper slogans prepared in advance from his bag and covered the incubator.

When the urban management soldiers rushed to the overpass and captured the two panicked vendors, they saw a thin young man of medium height and student appearance on the sidewalk on the other side of the road, not far from the overpass, slowly pushing an old car.

Bicycle, heading in the direction of the university. On the back rack of the bicycle is a square box of unclear appearance, with a stack of hanging slogans written in ink on it, and the handwriting is vaguely visible.

"Care for classroom hygiene", "Please be quiet in the library", "Care for campus greening, everyone has a responsibility", etc.

The urban management team members who were observing the surroundings carefully glanced at the student pushing the cart, and then looked away without interest.

Li Youran walked out of Antai Road without looking back, and then breathed a sigh of relief. "Damn, it's so dangerous."

Li Youran rode on the car and returned to the Anhua Road Market. Under the old poplar tree, Sun Xiaoying, wearing white clothes and a yellow apron, was busy. Perhaps because of sweating, her delicate and pale face turned red, like the first day of the new year.

Ripe apples.

Sun Xiaoying looked up and saw Li Youran, with an expression of relief on her face.

"Brother Youran, you're back. Nothing happened?"

Li Youran shook his head pretending to be relaxed.

"It's okay, it's okay. I heard that the city management over there has become lazy because of eating too much. They rarely check once every ten days and a half. The business there is very good. Almost all my steamed buns are sold out.

"

"Really, that's great. I also sold ten more buns here than yesterday." Xiaoying was very happy, and the corners of her mouth curved.

In the evening, they closed the stall and settled the accounts. Today they made a total of more than one hundred yuan. This made the two of them feel good, and the fatigue of the day seemed to disappear.
