Chapter 9 Growing Vegetables

In the early morning, Li Youran packed up his belongings and went out. Today he looked very different from usual. He was full of energy, pedaling and humming pop songs.

Sun Xiaoying looked at this guy who was obviously too excited.

"Brother Youran, you are different today. Is there anything good you can do?" Sun Xiaoying couldn't help her curiosity and asked.

"Haha, I had a good dream last night, haha, what a dream."

"Huh! Who cares if I don't mention it?" Sun Xiaoying pouted, held up her hands, and sat down on the back of the tricycle.

The front of the car suddenly tilted upwards. Li Youran was startled and quickly stabilized the handlebars.

"Don't mess with this little girl." Li Youran didn't dare to laugh anymore, closed her mouth, and drove towards the market with Sun Xiaoying.

During the day, Li Youran took time to go to the small farmer's market at the east end of Anhua Road and bought two taels of cabbage seeds and a shovel.

After returning to the room at night, Li Youran held the jadeite Pixiu based on yesterday's experience, closed his eyes, meditated, and quickly entered the space. Cabbage seeds and shovels were also brought in smoothly.

Ang Ang was sleeping at the highest point of the hillside. When he heard the noise, he quickly came up to greet him with his head and tail wagging.

Li Youran comforted Ang Ang, then took off his shoes, rolled up his trouser legs, and started working.

He carefully surveyed the land and found that the soil was soft and brittle, moist to the touch, fertile, and had good moisture retention. There were no stones or other debris. He simply skipped the trouble of raking the land and just used a shovel to turn over the soil and break it into pieces.

Level the field, raise the ridge, and open the field for about 3 minutes. Then draw several shallow trenches, plant cabbage seeds, and cover with soil.

During the labor process, Li Youran found that working here was not very tiring, and the weight of the shovel seemed to be much lighter than outside.

Could it be that the gravity of the earth is different? Li Youran guessed.

Lying on the edge of the field, he blinked and watched Li Youran working, as if he was watching something very interesting.

"Ang Ang, go get some water." Li Youran deliberately presented a problem to Ang Ang, wanting to see how it would respond.

Unexpectedly, Ang Ang stood up immediately, ran to the stream, opened his mouth, and took a deep breath, causing the stream to stop flowing instantly.

Before Li Youran could react, he turned around, opened his mouth, and sprayed a water arrow into the sky. The water arrow rushed to a height of more than ten meters, spread out, and fell like raindrops, covering the newly cultivated vegetables in an instant.

The land, of course, also includes the farmers in the fields.

Li Youran wiped the rain off his face and looked angrily at the guy pretending to be the Dragon King of Buyu. The little guy didn't seem to understand the farmer's mood, and he was still shouting "arrogantly" happily, as if he was asking for credit.

Forget it, he is still a child after all. Li Youran decided not to compete with the boy. He took off his shirt, squeezed out the water, put it on his shoulders, walked to the edge, and exited the space without saying hello to Ang Ang.

After being so tired during the day and night, Li Youran didn't even bother to dry the water on his body, so he fell on the bed and fell asleep quickly.

At four o'clock in the morning, the alarm on the phone rang as usual, but Li Youran, who was sleeping soundly, was not woken up.

After a while, the door was knocked, and a crisp voice came.

"Brother Youran, you're such a lazy idiot, you haven't gotten up yet."

Li Youran finally woke up. He stretched and got up sleepily.

"Okay...Okay, let's get up."

"Hurry up, it will be too late!" Sun Xiaoying said dissatisfied.

Li Youran had no choice but to speed up dressing and washing up.

*******************

Li Youran stood absentmindedly in front of the steamed bun stall, holding a carved Pixiu piece in his arms.

After constant exploration, he found that his body was in contact with Pixiu and he could observe the movement inside at any time. And it was very simple. As long as he calmed down and felt it, the scene in the space would become a clear picture in his mind.

In the afternoon, Li Youran was pleasantly surprised to find hundreds of green sprouts growing in the newly cultivated vegetable field in the space. The cabbage sprouted! Is this too fast? The birth-promoting function of space is really abnormal.

The originally lifeless space came to life, which also aroused great interest in An'ang. He lay beside the vegetable field, stretched his neck and sniffed around, enjoying it endlessly. Moreover, this spiritual little guy seemed to cherish these buds very much.

Be careful not to touch yourself.

Sun Xiaoying was a little worried. Brother Youran, who used to be quite clever in the past, suddenly became dull. He stood there giggling from time to time and talking to himself, muttering strange things like cabbage and arrogance.

Brother Youran may be too tired, and Sun Xiaoying regretted waking him up in the morning. At Sun Xiaoying's insistence, she closed the stall early and did not let Li Youran go to Antai Road.

The cabbage seedlings in the space are growing at an astonishing speed.

Day 1: Germination.

The second and third days: Zhenran stood on the edge of the cabbage field, looking at the hundreds of art pieces that seemed to be made from a combination of top-grade sun-green jadeite and white jade.

A work of art, a joy of harvest in my heart.

At first, he was a little worried that too fast a production cycle would affect the quality, but after trying it, his doubts disappeared immediately.
