Chapter 3 How to stay?

When Du Yuan was sick when he was a child, he always liked to hold his mother's hand, call her to act like a baby, and lie in her arms.

In a daze, Du Yuan thought he was back home, but his body felt very tired and he couldn't open his eyes.

He felt that his mother seemed to be sitting next to him, gently stroking his head with her calloused palms, and gently humming vague children's songs that he had heard when he was a child but did not understand.

Du Yuan subconsciously raised his hand and grabbed the hand caressing his head. Following the feeling, his head climbed onto the lap of the person next to him. He shouted happily and lazily, "Mom." His head rested on the soft thigh as if coquettishly.

After rubbing it, he fell asleep peacefully again, but the fingers in his hand did not let go.

Yun Niang had just finished her work that night. She was leaning on the box at the head of the kang, with one leg crossed on the kang and one leg on the edge. She was humming the children's song she had hummed when she put her son to sleep, and gently caressed his son who was lying on the kang.

Looking at the child on the kang, he had the illusion that this child was his equal, and his eyes were blurred as he thought about his short-lived child.

Just as she was in a trance, Yun Niang felt that her hand was grabbed by a soft little hand, and she also felt something pressing on her leg. She lowered her head and saw Du Yuan with a happy and satisfied smile on his face, lazily

He called out to Yun Niang, rubbed his hands on Yun Niang's legs, found a comfortable position, grabbed Yun Niang's fingers and fell asleep peacefully.

Hearing the word "Mother", Yun Niang's face was full of surprise, as if her child had learned to call her mother for the first time. Her eyes were filled with tears of joy. Her husband, who had just entered the house, shouted in a low voice.

He said, "Third brother, third brother, come here, this kid is calling his mother!"

"What!" Tiejiang Feng stomped the snow on his feet, lifted the curtain, took off his coat and walked in. He asked softly with a slightly tired look on his face. Just seeing his wife's bright eyes shining with tears, a flash of light flashed in his heart.

Guilt and heartache.

"It's been five days, and this child finally spoke. Do you know what the first word this child said when he held my hand was?" Yun Niang looked at Du Yuan on the kang lovingly, and gently rubbed her hand with her.

Du Yuan's little hand and the other hand were stroking Du Yuan's head. Without waiting for Feng Tiejiang's answer, he continued to talk to himself, "This child is pulling me to call me mother. He rubs me on my legs without any recognition at all."

Ah, it’s just like Ping’er back then, haha.”

Yun Niang looked at Du Yuan on her lap, talking, recalling, laughing softly, and her tears kept falling.

Tiejiang Feng looked at his wife, and his heart suddenly felt painful. He looked at his wife with a sad face, loving and guilty, and opened his mouth, but never made a sound.

Blacksmith Feng raised his head and closed his eyes, turned around, picked up an iron sword that was under the mattress on the kang, raised the curtain and went out.

Not long after, the sound of sword dancing came from the courtyard.

Feng Tiejiang had a cold face and bit his lips tightly. Every move and every move was made with all his strength, causing large snowflakes to fly with every move.

His eyes shone with regret, he hated himself and others, and tears kept rolling back and forth in his eyes.

After finishing a set of swordsmanship, Feng Blacksmith knelt down in the snow tiredly. His body was steaming, and his shoulders were shaking. His hands holding the long sword and the scabbard on the snow were violently violent.

There were blue veins on the ground between my hands, and there were water drops constantly dripping on the snow between my hands, making them wet. I don’t know whether it was sweat or tears...

Yun Niang gathered her emotions and wiped the tears on her face. She looked up and saw that her husband had gone out at some point. She gently pulled out Du Yuan's fingers, carefully put Du Yuan's head back on the kang, and quickly got up.

come out.

I quickly opened the door and saw my husband kneeling on the snow, his shoulders shaking constantly.

The tears that Yun Niang had just stopped burst out again in an instant. She raised her head hard and blinked her eyes hard, trying to hold back the tears, but it didn't work.

Reaching out to wipe the tears from her face, Yun Niang walked to Tiejiang Feng, knelt down, held Tiejiang Feng's head in her arms, patted Tiejiang Feng's back gently, and murmured

He said, "Cry, it will feel better if you cry. It has been hard enough for you after holding it in for so many years."

Blacksmith Feng let go of the sword and sheath in his hand, hugged Yun Niang's waist tightly, bit his lip and cried softly in Yun Niang's arms. Yun Niang's tears also fell silently.

Only the flying snow in the sky and a dim light coming from the crack of the door accompanied them quietly.

After a long time, their emotions gradually calmed down.

Then I heard a cry of pain coming from the room, "Mother, mother! Mother, no! Ooooh, mother, ooooh."

The two of them quickly wiped away their tears and quickly got up and entered the house.

"Good boy, it's okay. Mom is here and there. Be good, it's okay, it's okay." Yun Niang kept comforting her as she entered the room. She quickly walked to the kang, fearing that her hands would be cold.

The child, only separated by the quilt, was patting the child gently and humming an unknown children's song.

Just looking at Du Yuan who turned over and his persistently searching hands, Yun Niang was a little embarrassed. Understanding his wife's meaning, Feng Tiejiang put his hand on Yun Niang's back, and a burst of inner energy came out, instantly driving away Yun Niang.

The coldness on my mother’s body.

Yun Niang turned her head and glanced at her husband gratefully, then reached out and grabbed one of Du Yuan's little hands that was grabbing around. Du Yuan's other little hand followed suit and grabbed Yun Niang's with both hands.

A hand. A reassuring smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, as if Yun Niang's hand was his whole world and his support.

Under Yun Niang's comfort, Du Yuan choked with sobs and slowly fell asleep again.

Seeing Du Yuan's satisfied smile after grabbing her hand, Yun Niang felt that the empty space in her heart was instantly filled. She looked at Du Yuan's sleeping face with doting eyes and wiped it gently with her other hand.

He looked at the tears on Du Yuan's face.

"Third brother, how about we keep this child?" Yun Niang looked at Du Yuan and asked Blacksmith Feng softly.

Seeing the renewed vitality on Yun Niang's face, and looking at Du Yuan on the kang, Feng Tiejiang's eyes flickered twice, and he opened his mouth. In the end, he couldn't bear to let his wife down, so he only said one good word and agreed.

.I thought, maybe this child is really destined to be a couple.

"Thank you, Third Brother." Yun Niang turned her head and gave Blacksmith Feng a gentle smile in gratitude.

Seeing Yun Niang's smile, Feng Tiejiang's resolute face instantly softened. He stretched out his hand and scratched Yun Niang's small nose, and said dotingly, "Fool." Then he put his arm around Yun Niang's shoulders and looked at her sleeping face together.

Du Yuan. He tentatively reached out and touched Du Yuan's head.
