Create the Bow and Arrow of the Future

It was a past event, a warm family past event, that happened in Motes City, the capital of the Elf Kingdom. If you want to know more about how the Elf Queen taught her daughter, this short chapter tells the story of a brief scene.

★★★

"Mom, I'm already very powerful. Can you let me go out for a walk alone? I don't want to be an elf princess all my life." Little Meili, who was only half the height of Ellu, raised her head and said these slightly rebellious words.

Ellu was using her divine power to carve reliefs on the wall. She wanted all future generations to know who saved the world. After hearing Mei Li's words, she stopped thinking in her mind. "Mei Li

, being powerful doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want. There are many things that cannot be done with great power, not to mention that your power still has limits.”

Mei Li never dared to use her magical power to find out what her mother was thinking, and there was no need. "Mom, I can foresee the future just like grandpa. There is nothing blocking me."

"Well... Then you should be able to predict when you will be able to go out and walk around, right? I know that you don't really believe in your premonition ability, but try to change the future you see. It's a pity.

, some things are difficult to change, including my thoughts." Ellu is not too pampered towards her daughter.

Mei Li still doesn't want to give up. "No matter how difficult it is, it should be possible to change. I can clearly see everything that happened in the past. Dad has changed the future that has already appeared."

Ellu didn't want to explain any more. She stretched out her hand, and the silver-moon bow and arrows passed down by her family appeared in her hands. "Start with the simplest ones first. You have to change the future bit by bit. At least you have to change what is about to happen first."

That future. You can't hit the lamp on the opposite wall without divine power. You should know that it is bound to happen."

Mei Li reached out and took the bow and arrow without answering. She really relied on these miscellaneous divine powers and almost never practiced herself. Archery, the skill that the elves and humans are best at, she didn't know it at all.

Ellu waited for her for a while, and when she saw no movement, she simply said to her: "You are an elf princess. Even if you repeatedly say that you are a half-elf, you cannot change this fact. You want your subjects to talk behind your back. You are not qualified to represent

Them? If you want to change that future, pick up your bow and arrow and shoot down the lights on the other side. It's that simple."

Scenes of the future appeared directly in front of Mei Li's eyes. She had heard her mother's words before, and nothing had changed. It was impossible for her to hit that light, because it was a determined future. She had never

I have never been as confident as I am now.

Ellu sighed. "You know what I'm going to say, and you also know that you will be disappointed when you come to chat with me this time. But you still came, didn't you? Only when you hope to make changes in the future, the future will

Changed because of you. Don’t forget whose daughter you are.”

Mei Li's eyes became firm. Her petite body no longer showed any trace of divine power. That was her choice. Finally, the bow was drawn.

Whether she can change the future does not seem to be important anymore. What is important is that she has the courage to change the future, and is no longer the girl who believes in fate. In her eyes, the arrow leaving the string is so slow, but meaningful.

With a snap, that was the fate Mei Li chose.

Ellu shook his head: "You are so unlucky. I guess you want to try again."

Mei Li: "..."
