Chapter Eighteen: An Interesting Battle

The atmosphere suddenly boiled with tension.

Morrie's iron rod was swung directly at Daniel's face, and Charles' heart suddenly rose to his throat.

His eyes were fixed on the weapon in Mori's hand.

Morrie rushed over menacingly.

The iron rod in his hand was getting closer and closer, and he was about to swing it into Daniel's face, but Daniel remained motionless.

Inch by inch, time seemed to be slowed down many times. From such a close distance, Charles could even clearly see the cold and sharp light of the moonlight reflected on the iron rod swinging towards Daniel.

Charles' body waited for an opportunity to move.

But before he had time to take action, Daniel, who was sitting on the sofa with a calm expression, suddenly moved his shoulders and quickly put his hands on the armrests on both sides of the sofa. With a little effort, he bent his legs and suddenly jumped into the air.

He quickly turned over in mid-air and landed behind the sofa.

He raised his leg and kicked the back of the sofa hard. The entire heavy sofa instantly moved forward with a "squeak" sound, just in time to hit Mori who was rushing forward.

On the legs.

Morrie was suddenly knocked head-on towards the sofa, his head hit the armrest of the sofa painfully, and then he let out a wailing sound.

There was a sudden blast of wind in my ears.

Daniel turned his head sharply, turned sideways, and easily dodged the iron rod swung from his left side. A big man went crazy and attacked Daniel's head with the iron rod desperately. Daniel dodged left and right, dodging easily.

After passing the attack, he spotted the loopholes in the big man's movements. While turning sideways again, he raised his right leg and gave the big man who was attacking him a quick and violent spin kick.

The pajamas seemed to be filled with wind in an instant——!

After a spin kick, Daniel stood safely on the ground again, maintaining a defensive posture, but the big man was kicked by Daniel so much that he spun 360 degrees in mid-air and then hit the ground hard with his elbow.

When he hit the ground first, he heard a "click" sound from the bones of his arm. The big man immediately howled in pain and fell to the ground unable to get up.

Oh, it looks like there is no need for Charles to take action.

Charles retreated to a corner to watch this exciting and intense scene, and how Daniel dealt with these people single-handedly.

Seeing that two people were knocked down by Daniel one after another, two bald men who looked like twins came and rushed over with a roar.

The veins in their arms that were holding the iron rods were swollen, and the meridians on their necks were clearly bulging out from shouting with excessive force, making them extremely ferocious.

They attacked Daniel at the same time, each one attacking at once. Although the movements were very fierce, unfortunately, their skills were average. After only two or three attacks, Daniel beat him to the ground.

Simply vulnerable...

Daniel dusted off his clothes, looked down at the two twin men in front of him coldly, and was considering whether to give them a final blow that would make it difficult for them to stand up in the future.

Just as he was thinking, an angry roar suddenly exploded, and the sound seemed to be ringing in Daniel's ears.

Daniel turned his head suddenly, and just when he raised his foot and was about to kick it behind him, he saw a "swish" sound, and a ball-shaped object flashed past his eyes in the blink of an eye.

The next second, Mori's scream of pain sounded again without warning.

Morrie was hit in the face by an extremely fragile-looking yo-yo, and his whole body stumbled to one side uncontrollably.

Fortunately, the lethality was not very strong. After a while, when Mori almost fell to the ground, his mind suddenly returned to clarity, and he immediately stood firm.

Following the direction in which the yo-yo hit, he saw Charles not far away, playing with a yo-yo leisurely, constantly changing tricks as if nothing had happened, and having a great time.

Damn it! They were being beaten up here, and he was still playing with a yo-yo while looking at them mockingly, not taking them seriously at all.

When he thought of this, Morrie was filled with rage. He was so furious that he rushed to Charles who was closest to him and was about to hit Charles on the head with the iron rod in his hand.

Charles hooked the thin rope of the yo-yo with the index fingers of both hands, allowing the ball to continue to rotate at a rapid speed, creating a basic triangle.

The yo-yo sways back and forth in the triangle enclosed by the rope.

Morrie roared hysterically and rushed over——!

Daniel stood up straight and watched Mori rush over, but he ignored him and crossed his arms with his chest, showing an indifferent smile as if he was watching a good show.

The yo-yo rocked back and forth faster and faster, and its rotation became more violent.

Charles' eyes were glued to the yo-yo.

The rapid sound of wind and roaring in my ears are getting closer and closer.

"I'll kill you——!!" Morrie roared and rushed to Charles, then swung an iron rod at Charles' head.

In that second...

Charles suddenly gave a sly and profound smile.

There was a sound of "Pang——!", and before anyone had time to see clearly what happened, the iron rod in Mori's hand had been hit by something and flew out of his hand, hitting him just in time.

He hit the head of a big man who had just stood up and wanted to sneak attack Daniel.

"Boom!"

A big bump suddenly appeared on the big man's head. He stuck out his tongue and moved his eyes in a funny circle. He seemed to hear some birds chirping in his ears. Then, he suddenly fell to the ground.

He just fainted.

But on Charles' side, in addition to the whirring sound of the ball spinning rapidly, there were also Morrie's screams one after another.

Charles happily used the yo-yo in his hand, letting the rope flip and jump on his fingertips. The yo-yo then hit Morrie on the head with all kinds of unpredictable directions and speeds.

Click left.

"ah--!"

Click right.

"ah--!"

Left and right.

“Bang, bang, bang, bang—!”

"Ah, ah, ah, ah——!"

There were constant clear and loud knocking sounds coming from Mori's hard skull, which, in conjunction with his intermittent screams of pain, miraculously sounded like a very cheerful percussion piece.

.

Finally, Charles, who had had enough fun, finally let Morrie go. In the last blow, he used his fingertips to force the yo-yo he had taken back in his hand and quickly threw it out again, hitting it squarely on the ground.

on Morrie's face.

"Pong——!!!"

Morrie's face and head suddenly swelled with pain, and his consciousness was momentarily blurred.

He stood shaky and dazed before Charles.

With his eyes half-opened and swollen from being beaten, in his hazy vision, Charles's always-smiling face was suddenly very close at hand.

"Thank you for playing!"

A voice with a smile came faintly, and then a fist suddenly hit Mori directly in the face. Mori really fainted completely at this moment, his limbs were wide open, and he fell to the ground with a "thud"

.

Charles put away his fists and said very politely to Morrie, who was lying on the ground unable to move: "The sound quality is very good, and the audience likes it very much!"

At this moment, bursts of police car sirens suddenly came from outside the house, and blue-red lights flashed on the curtains, which was particularly bright and eye-catching.

In a moment, two policemen rushed in with guns in their hands, and the first pretentious words they said were: "Don't move, put your hands up!!"

Daniel pulled his face forward, stepped over the body of a big man lying in front of him, and walked into the kitchen.

With a playful smile, Charles walked up to the two policemen and joked: "I thought you were going for a late-night snack."

The two policemen kept their shooting postures vigilantly and loudly asked: "Did you call the police?"

"Of course, I am a good citizen. If a thief breaks into the house, I will definitely call the police!" Charles nodded matter-of-factly.

After the two police officers confirmed their identities with him, they immediately put away their guns and walked up to the four Morries. Each of them grabbed one with one hand and shouted angrily while handcuffing them and pushing Morrie and the others away.

The farce finally ended, and Daniel slowly walked out of the kitchen with a straight face.

Charles turned his head and saw that Daniel was holding a cup and saucer in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, taking a sip and happily watching the police clean up the mess they had left behind.

"Hey! Brother! I thought you just entered the kitchen to get weapons!" Charles walked up to Daniel, unceremoniously took the coffee that Daniel was enjoying, and drank it in big gulps.

Daniel's face was so dark that he turned blue. He stared at Charles's face, which was full of contentment after drinking the coffee he carefully brewed, and sneered in a low voice: "The time it takes to brew a cup of coffee is enough to deal with the four of them.

As expected, the time was just right and the temperature and concentration of the coffee were exactly the same.”

Charles licked the coffee liquid stained on his upper lip, nodded seriously, and said, "Not bad, the temperature is just right, but the taste is a bit bland! Are you using a coffee machine? An automatic one?"

No, the point is not coffee, the point is Daniel's combat speed. Daniel just wants to emphasize this point. He strikes hard, accurately, and quickly. He can completely defeat Mori and the others in just the time it takes to make a cup of coffee.

"Brewed from coffee beans?" Charles raised his head and drank every drop of coffee in the coffee cup, but still asked for the off-topic answer.

Daniel felt that he could not communicate with a low-IQ human like Charles. With a livid face, he snorted coldly and turned around and walked up to the second floor.

Charles was still looking at the coffee cup puzzled. He said to himself distressedly: "The taste of brewed coffee beans is so weak?"

However, he immediately turned his head and yelled at the back of Daniel who was walking towards the second floor: "Hey! Remember to add two cubes of sugar next time! I like it sweeter!"

"Boom!" With a sound, Daniel's foot slipped and he almost fell down the stairs again.

He was once again... not calm anymore...

hehe……
