156 You sit down

After returning home, Jiang Heyu cooked a bowl of noodles for breakfast, and then slowly sat down at the door of the house after eating.

Hua Lai: "You go find the landlord, and I'll cook."

Jiang Heyu: "It's still early, please take a rest."

Hua Lai ignored him, rolled up her sleeves, and went to chop vegetables by herself.

Jiang Heyu saw that she was busy and couldn't sit still. He took her wrist and said, "We'll do it later. Let's go find the landlord first."

Hua Lai: "You can go alone to save time."

Jiang Heyu said, "That's okay. We live in the house together. There's no reason for you not to even meet the landlord."

Hua Lai knew what he meant, it was just to find a chance to get tired of being with him.

She endured it for the sake of the show's effect.

The two asked the cameraman and found the landlord's new home. They were an old couple in their fifties. When they saw Jiang He and the two of them entering the house, they quickly stood up.

Jiang He and He Hua Lai are two handsome men and beautiful women. It is not an exaggeration to say that they are beautiful. The old couple was stunned when they saw them!

They have never seen such a good-looking person in their lives.

Facing the elders, Jiang Heyu finally put aside his pride and took the initiative to say hello: "Hello, we are your tenants. Thank you very much for providing accommodation. How much is your room rate per day?"

The old couple hurriedly let them sit inside the house. Their teenage grandson, who was doing homework beside him, saw the stranger and the camera equipment. He became curious and dropped his pen and leaned over to take a look.

If they had met such a good-looking young man on a normal day, and it was such an abandoned house, the two old men would have said "free stay", but now the situation is special and everyone has tasks to do.

The hostess said: "It's thirty yuan a day, and if you stay for three days, it's ninety yuan."

It cost less than a hundred yuan for three days, which to be honest was not expensive at all, but now they were penniless and had to rely on their own labor to earn this "huge sum of money."

Hua Lai has a lot of experience in working. She said first: "Auntie, if there is anything you need us to do, we will pay for your room fee."

This troubled the owner.

There is no work to be done in this rural area, the only thing they can do is farm work, but these young people, with their bright skin and tender flesh, don't look like they can do farm work.

The male host hesitated for a long time and asked Jiang Heyu: "Do you know how to be an electrician? My kitchen light is broken. Master Liu in the village has been away recently, and no one can help me fix it."

Jiang Heyu: "Do you have an electric pen? Let me try."

The male host’s eyes lit up: “Yes, yes!”

The light in the kitchen was out of order for several days, and the old woman would say something to him every time she went to the kitchen at night, but there was only one electrician in the village, and there was nothing she could do if he wasn't there.

Hua Lai frowned and pulled Jiang He. After all, electricity is a professional skill and cannot be tried casually!

If someone gets electrocuted accidentally...

She didn't want to see Jiang Heyu's funeral in this faraway land!

Hua Lai whispered: "This is no joke!"

The nervousness in her eyes was interpreted by Jiang Heyu as worry and concern, and he smiled at her: "Trust me."

When he was in middle school, he had a lot of extracurricular practice. He had operated household circuits many times and it was not a problem for him.

The male host found a pen. Hua Lai was worried and followed Jiang Heyu into the kitchen. He also asked the hostess to stand at the main switch. If... something happened, pull the switch first!

Jiang Heyu was happy in his heart: Hua Lai always didn't deal with him openly, but secretly he still cared about him very much!

He gave her a firm look: "Don't worry, I really can."

He went to the kitchen and tested the switch first. As expected, the light did not come on. He used a screwdriver to remove the cover of the switch and tested the circuit inside with an electric pen: there was no power to the switch either.

That means there is a problem with the line.

Fortunately, most houses in rural areas have open wiring. The landlord's wiring is simply covered with partitions. Jiang Heyu stepped on a stool, removed all the partitions, and measured them section by section with an electric pen. Sure enough,

After finding the section where there was no electricity, he asked the landlord to pull the switch and then turned over the wires. He found that the wires were a little black, which was obviously burned.

He handed the pen to Hua Lai who was standing below: "Here, give me the scissors."

Hua Lai saw him touching the wire with his hand. Although he knew that the power was out, he was still a little frightened.

It's not her fault, girls are naturally afraid of circuits.

She caught the pen and handed him the scissors.

Jiang He and Chang enjoyed this moment of cooperation, which was much more interesting than participating in those mentally retarded competitions held by outside program groups.

Although there are still cameras here.

He used scissors to cut open the rubber of the wire and found that the wire inside had been burned.

He skillfully cut off the burned wires and then reconnected them: "Insulating tape!"

Hualai: "What?"

What insulation tape?

Jiang Heyu: "Give me the black circle."

Hua Lai: "Oh!"

She quickly found the insulating tape and handed it to Jiang He.

Jiang Heyu twisted the wires with one hand, and with the other hand he tore off the tape and started wrapping it. After making sure that all the exposed wires were wrapped, he said: "Try closing the switch."

The hostess turned off the switch. Hua Lai, who was standing on the ground, looked at Jiang He and asked, "Did I turn on the light?"

Jiang Heyu smiled and nodded: "Try?"

Hua Lai: "Stand further away."

Jiang Heyu wanted to say "It's okay", but seeing Hua Lai's frightened look, he got down from the stool and said, "Turn on the light."

Hua Lai then pressed the switch, and the kitchen lights turned on!

She breathed a huge sigh of relief!

The male host quickly took out the cigarette and handed it over: "Young man is so awesome. Now it's better. I won't complain about it anymore."

Jiang Heyu didn't smoke, but he still took it and put the cigarette to his ears like the villagers he had seen in the past two days. Then he stood on the stool and put the partition back while chatting with the owner:

"Uncle, has the power been cut off before?"

Host: "No, this is the first time in so many years."

Jiang Heyu: "Have new electrical appliances been added to the house recently?"

Host: "How do you know? Some time ago, a man who drove a van went to the countryside to sell water heaters, and a lot of people bought them. I also bought one. It's convenient, so I keep tripping it."

Jiang Heyu raised his head to install the partition and said, "Let me take a look later."

There is no range hood in the rural kitchen. After using it for a long time, there is a lot of oil and dust on the partition. While chatting with this person, Jiang He raised his head to work, and suddenly his eyes were filled with dust.

He stood there and rubbed it with the back of his hand for a long time. His eyes were red from rubbing, but they were still stuck badly.

Hua Lai stood below and watched him not move: "What's wrong?"

Jiang Heyu: "There is dust in my eyes."

He got off the stool with one eye closed: "Blow for me."

Hua Lai was originally unwilling to do so, but it was not easy to argue with him in front of others.

But with Jiang He's height, she was wearing flat shoes, so there was no way she could reach his eyes!

Hua Lai: "Sit down."

The male host said, "I'm going to get a towel to wipe it off" and went out.

Jiang Heyu sat on the stool with his legs spread naturally.

Hua Lai stood between his legs and almost couldn't help but sit on his legs!
