182 Reluctance

Jiang Heyu opened the car door, and Pingping saw Hua Lai sitting inside. She was so scared that she covered her open mouth!

Hua Lai looked at her daughter's exaggerated look and felt a little funny. She waved to her: "Come up quickly."

Pingping quickly climbed onto the seat: "Mom, why are you... with Uncle Jiang?"

Doesn’t her mother disapprove of her getting close to Uncle Jiang? Why did she instead...

Hua Lai: "Mom and him are also friends."

Jiang He was driving in the front, while mother and daughter were chatting in the back seat. Today, Ping Ping was even more excited, almost dancing, and was lightly drank by Hua Lai several times.

Jiang Heyu said softly from the front: "Pingping, please sit tight. Mom is tired from work today. Please be good."

The smile on Pingping's face was like a flower that had just bloomed in spring. She nodded: "Yes!"

He looked at Jiang He and his broad and solid back, and felt an inexplicable sense of security and satisfaction in his heart. She couldn't describe her feelings. She only felt that the scene of her mother and Uncle Jiang together was so warm and sweet!

She likes this feeling.

Pingping held Hua Lai's hand: "Mom, I'm so happy!"

Hua Lai stroked Ping Ping's hair: "I want to be so happy every day, okay?"

Pingping: "Of course!"

Jiang Heyu felt that this section of the road was too short. He didn't drive far enough and he actually reached home!

He looked at Hua Lai pitifully: "Can I..."

Hua Lai: "No! Pingping, say goodbye to uncle and thank you for taking you home."

Pingping looked up at her mother: "Mom, would you like to invite uncle to play at home?"

Jiang Heyu: My daughter still loves me!

Hua Lai: "Mom has invited uncle, but he said that he will go back to the company to handle work soon. Let's not delay him. Let's say goodbye quickly."

Of course, Ping Ping is a good and considerate child. Although she is reluctant to separate from Uncle Jiang, her uncle has to go to work. This is business and cannot be delayed!

She could only reluctantly say to Jiang Heyu: "Thank you, uncle. Goodbye, uncle."

Jiang He's path was blocked by Hua Lai's words. He glared at Hua Lai for a few times, but Hua Lai remained unmoved.

Jiang Heyu looked at Pingping helplessly. He turned sideways and stretched out his arms to her: "Hug uncle."

Pingping crawled over from the back row and hugged Jiang Heyu's neck.

Her little head rested lazily on Jiang Heyu's shoulder, feeling her uncle's broad and strong shoulders, and she said in a muffled voice: "Uncle, goodbye."

She wanted to ask her uncle to come and play with her next time, but she promised her mother that she would keep a distance from her uncle.

Jiang He hugged Pingping and couldn't bear to let go. This soft little girl was so clingy to him that he couldn't be willing to part ways.

He looked at Hua Lai with an almost pleading tone: "Actually, I won't go to that meeting..."

Hua Lai was firm: "No, you have to go!"

Jiang Heyu sighed and warned himself.

Take it step by step and be patient!

Hua Lai waited for them tenderly for half a minute, then called: "Ping Ping, let's go, uncle is too late."

Pingping then reluctantly let go of Jiang Heyu's neck and warned, "Uncle, drive slower."

Jiang Heyu looked at her with a smile: "Okay."

Ping Ping: "Don't work too late, go to bed early."

Jiang Heyu: "I know."

Pingping: "Mom and I went in."

Jiang He became more and more reluctant to leave.

As expected of Hua Lai's daughter, why is she so adorable?

He sighed: "Listen to mother, uncle will come see you tomorrow."

Pingping's eyes lit up: "Tomorrow?"

Jiang He said: "Tomorrow."

Ping Ping: "Yeah!"

Hua Lai was a little impatient waiting outside the car: "Ping Ping!"

Pingping also sighed: "Goodbye, uncle." Jiang Heyu watched mother and daughter enter the gate, then stepped on the accelerator and left.

Half an hour later, Hua Lai received a WeChat message from Jiang Heyu: I'm home and miss you.

Hua Lai only replied with three words: work number.

Jiang Heyu called.

Hua Lai was a little impatient: "What are you doing?"

Jiang Heyu: "Give me your private number."

Hua Lai: "No need to talk." Then hung up the phone.

Jiang Heyu's text message came over again: Send the video and I'll see my daughter.

Hua Lai directly set his message to "Do Not Disturb" mode.

Min Kai's phone called again. Hua Lai was stunned and clicked the answer: "Brother Kai."

Min Kai's voice was a little excited: "Xiao Lai, you and Mr. Jiang..."

Seeing that Min Kai was hesitant to speak, Hua Lai's heart skipped a beat: Could it be that his relationship with Jiang He was known to him so quickly?

Hua Lai: "Brother Kai, what's wrong?"

Min Kai: "Photos of you two have been posted online. I want to ask what your attitude is. This involves whether we need to start public relations."

Hua Lai frowned: "What photo?"

Min Kai: "...he feeds you cake."
