A small incident yesterday triggered some insights, so let me talk about it here.
This is the thing.
Yesterday, some readers criticized Chen Yi for not being generous enough and having too much care about 10,000 or 20,000 or 20,000 bloody things with his allies. I joked at the time and said, "Give me 10,000, and I will only be the one who is in front of you."[]
As a result, he was accused of not accepting criticism.
Let me declare here that first of all, this is just a joke.
But it's not just a joke.
I also hope that the other party can think from the perspective of others. After all, 10,000 yuan is much cheaper than 10,000 bloody point.
Of course, this aspect depends on your own opinion. Although I have many ideas, I won’t explain it here. I don’t mind commenting with you elsewhere.
What I want to talk about below are some other thoughts caused by this.
It's just a feeling, not a confession, not a complaint, please don't misread it.
——————————————
I found that there is a phenomenon in the reader group that the author cannot refute readers' opinions, and refuting them means being unmodest.
I still say the same thing about this:
I respect all criticisms, but it does not mean that I accept them without principles. On the contrary, sometimes I am willing to discuss and communicate with you.
The problem is, I can accept criticism, but some readers cannot.
Some readers have actually developed the subconscious mind that “my criticism is correct” by inadvertently, which is actually very bad.
Why can't we discuss it quietly?
I will never say that I am all right. Yesterday, a guy pointed out that I had a bug, and I immediately changed what I could. I have always been very grateful to my friends who pointed out my mistakes.
Speaking of admitting mistakes, I believe that since the writing of this book, I have admitted a lot of mistakes and bugs. To be honest, I have never seen a few authors who can directly admit their mistakes in this way.
I always think I am humble, and of course everyone can have different opinions. Anyway, I think of myself this way.
But life philosophy is different.
I think ignoring it does not mean respect, taking it seriously is respect. (There is no intention of criticizing any author, it is just a personal concept.)
I am used to taking it seriously, but it does not mean that I have to listen to whatever readers say.
I just have a choice to accept it.
I think this is a sign I took seriously.
——————————————
Let me reiterate here that it is just a small thing that triggers feelings, not accusing anyone, and absolutely no intention of criticizing the reader for giving opinions. I just hope he understands some of my thoughts and my examples are definitely not a satirical Taunt him.
Because this idea didn't last overnight, it took a long time to come, and because this little thing triggered the thought, I said it out.
The most typical one is Longkong Forum, a novel comment forum.
I learned a lot in Longkong, but there were also many depressions. The biggest point was that you cannot refute readers' criticism in any way or reason.
This is awful!
It’s not that it’s not allowed, but that once you refute readers’ criticism, you will be regarded as unmodest and uneasy.
There are always people who think you are not humble!
Actually, I really want to communicate with many readers and share some opinions.
I can accept all criticisms without offensiveness. (No attack or mockery is the basic premise. I will not like any attack or mockery even if you are right. I think everyone should be able to understand)
But I think that the attitude that readers say is true hypocrisy.
You're welcome to say that as authors, we know our works more than any reader; as authors, we have more experience in writing than ordinary readers; as authors, most authors are modest when facing readers.
, low-key, so the tone is mostly kind, but readers regard themselves as God.
Therefore, I do not agree with the so-called readers who see clearly than the author. The reason why readers often find the author's problems is because readers only need to consider one or two issues, while the author needs to consider them comprehensively.
In this case, the reader's speech is often more superficial, but the author cannot actually adopt it because there are other influences. Therefore, the author becomes unhumble and unacceptable.
This is very unfair.
Some readers said that as the author, if you write your works for everyone to see, you will have the right to comment.
This is true!
But don't forget that the comments you wrote are articles. Since they have been written, they also have the obligation to be commented on! Why can't those readers' comments be commented on? No, it's not that they can't be commented on, it's not that they can't be commented on by the author himself
Request Comment.
This is very unfair.
Now Long Kong has this phenomenon, but fortunately there are almost no book review area. (So, most readers are actually very good.)
Actually, sometimes I really want to discuss novels with you.
But I can't do it.
I went to QQ, but the readers urged you to update. The author asked you to recommend it.
I'm scared and I dare not go to the page. I've lasted QQ once a month, just to submit the manuscript.
I went to the forum and wanted to express my own opinions to readers who commented on my works. No matter what I said, the better ones said you were not calm, and the worse ones said you were not humble, and the worst ones were cursing.
So we can only take a detour to evaluate our own works.
Very depressed.
Can't speak to your own works.
Of course, this is not a question for all readers, I am talking about only a small part of the situation.
So, I suggest that all readers may add a sentence when posting comments (forum, book review area, or post bar) when posting comments: The author is not welcome to express his opinions. (Not only
I think all books and authors are like this in my novels. Of course, not every author likes to participate in discussions like me. In fact, most authors are not interested.)
Publicly express your attitude, so that nothing will happen.
Of course, the opposite can be the same.
So we at least know which book reviews can be replied to and which cannot be replied to.
———————————————————
ps: It seems that readers still don’t understand what I mean above.
Then I will make it clearer:
My philosophy is that criticism and anti-criticism are equal. When faced with criticism and anti-criticism, we should look at the content rather than the person we speak.
It should be against things and not against people, not against people.
The current trend is that if the author defends his work a few words, there will be such statements as "This author is not humble", "This author is not calm", "This author has a big temper", "This author has a small temper".
This is what I dislike.
Of course, it is not just about myself, but about the phenomenon of the entire online literature circle.
So, I began to understand why politicians are hypocritical.
Because the public does not need to treat it sincerely.
If someone likes it, I can also do "you are right, thank you very much", even if what I think is "You don't understand, you are talking about a bunch of shit".
This is my opinion. I still insist on speaking psychological words now, but maybe one day, I will use this common routine to answer all criticisms.
