Chapter 108 Suppression

The Chinese have occupied the Philippines, but that does not mean they have been able to gain a foothold in the Philippines....

Under the long-term occupation and colonization by the Americans, many Filipinos have been brainwashed and are willing to serve as accomplices of the Americans. When the Chinese arrived, it was these people who were the first to "resist".

The riots finally began to break out.

A former colonel in the Philippine Army named Abitana led the Filipinos in his brigade to riot on December 30, 1940, not long after the Chinese Communist Party occupied the Philippines.

Along with the riots comes repression!

Resolute and thorough suppression!

Immediately, the Chinese government appointed General Sun Lianzhong as the top military commander of the Philippines, responsible for suppressing the Philippine rioters!

The leader of the rioters, Abitana, made various rude demands to the Chinese, such as allowing the Philippines to invade, etc., but these were all firmly rejected by the Chinese government!

The only thing the rioters have to do is to lay down their weapons and surrender unconditionally to the Chinese Communist Party. In addition, the Chinese government refuses to accept any form of demand!

In front of the Chinese government, any ideals and efforts of the Filipinos can only be wishful thinking.

At the beginning of the uprising, Sun Lianzhong once asked Nanjing for instructions: "Should the government use all means to make these indigenous people submit to our authority?"

President Wang Hengyue immediately replied without hesitation: "The insurrectionists must recognize our authority; you can follow your own ideas and adopt any necessary means to achieve the above goals."

With this "Sword of Shang Fang", Sun Lianzhong and others understood the situation and began to launch a large-scale military extermination operation against the Philippine rioters without any scruples.

The Chinese navy has blocked maritime traffic in the Philippines, thus cutting off the foreign aid channels that the Philippine rioters rely on for survival.

But what causes a headache is the guerrilla warfare of the rioters. In fact, for any occupier, the guerrilla warfare of the rioters is always a headache and frustrating, no matter how strong the occupier’s country is and how powerful its army is.

!

These indigenous people who participated in the riot were familiar with the terrain here. They knew where to launch an attack and where to escape. However, as occupiers, they were completely unfamiliar with everything.

The Chinese ** team increasingly fell into the quagmire of guerrilla warfare and could not extricate itself for a long time.//**//

At the beginning of 1941, Sun Lianzhong made the following report to the Nanjing government: There are rebels on every island in the entire archipelago. They are undoubtedly supported by the local residents. In other words, although the towns are nominally occupied by China

and management, but they are actually bases for the rebels, not only in the sense that they supply supplies to the guerrillas, but also provide refuge for the guerrillas. The highest tactic of the Philippine army now is: to be attacked

When the ** troops advanced, they immediately disbanded and fled to nearby towns. They were very successful in this regard because the people supported them, and because once they blended into the residents, no one knew whether they were guerrillas or civilians.

Nanjing responded quickly. With the support of the Nanjing government, in October 1941, Sun Lianzhong announced the implementation of "General Order No. 009", which stipulated:

"The war should be fought in its regular form between troops in uniform; but the guerrillas deserve no mercy and should be sent to concentration camps, exiled or executed; if the commander is motivated by 'military necessity,' any

Use necessary means to carry out 'retaliation,'."

At the same time, in order to make up for the inherent deficiencies of the Chinese in local language, customs and terrain, Sun Lianzhong recruited a large number of pro-Chinese Filipinos to serve as the eyes and ears of the people.

By February 1941 he had 6,000 Filipino scouts and 1,000 Philippine policemen performing paramilitary duties.

Under his personal leadership, the Army established a military intelligence office to enhance understanding of the activities of the guerrillas and transmit intelligence data in a timely manner. He also requested the Navy to strengthen patrols and do everything possible to cut off the communications between the rebels on the islands and overseas.

Ways of weapons import.

In mid-February, Sun Lianzhong finally discovered Abitana's whereabouts, and immediately sent a major and 600 soldiers to hunt him down, and ordered him to kill them all and eradicate them.

After receiving the information, Abitana had no choice but to lead the headquarters personnel to hurriedly relocate. At the critical moment, he handed over the important task of cover to Major Gantra, whom he had always trusted.

The battle started at Lazikou. Gantra led 60 soldiers to resist the attack, finally buying time for the safe transfer of the headquarters. In the end, all 60 soldiers of the Philippine Army were killed, and Gantra committed suicide after being seriously injured.

one.

The international community is also protesting and condemning everything the Chinese military does in the Philippines, but now the Chinese government no longer has to worry about anything.

The Chinese have declared war on Britain, war on France, and war on the United States. Who will pay attention to their protests?

The so-called protests are just a tactic used by the weak. They are undoubtedly scratching the surface and cannot shake the confidence and opinions of the Chinese people at all. Any hope of stopping the war with the Philippines has come to naught.

Sun Lianzhong saw this opportunity and immediately began to implement tougher policies.

After brutal sieges one after another, the rioters' space for activities has become increasingly narrower and their situation has become increasingly difficult.

Abitana led his headquarters to hide in the East. They were hungry and cold, with few places to hide, and were in danger of their lives. In March 1941, a company commander under Sun Lianzhong, with the cooperation of several Filipino helpers,

, deployed unexpected troops, cooperated internally and externally, and finally captured Abitana.

A month later, the mentally and physically exhausted Abitana was forced to issue a statement under Sun Lianzhong's threats and inducements, expressing his acceptance of Chinese rule and calling on his patriotic compatriots to end their resistance.

This move marked the end of the organized resistance of the Filipinos.

However, Filipino guerrillas in various places did not immediately lay down their arms.

In particular, Maldar's troops operating in Batangas Province and another Lukban troops in Samar still held high the flag of justice, persisted in resisting, and dealt heavy blows to the occupying forces from time to time. The angry Sun Lianzhong decided not to hesitate

Use all means to eliminate these two rebel armies as soon as possible.

A rare massacre began.

As for what form the massacre took? No one knows, but several reports about the massacre were placed in front of Wang Hengyue, the president of the Republic of China.

In these reports:

General Sun Liren, who was ordered to sweep Samar Island, once asked his subordinates with a cold face: "I hope you will kill and burn. The more people you kill, the more satisfied I will be. I want all those who can bear weapons and are hostile to China to

Kill them all!"

Not long after, all the adult men and women on the island were killed, and all the farmhouses and crops were reduced to ashes.

Another squadron commander who was responsible for attacking Batangas, Qi Youdao, the commander of the First Regiment of the Chinese Airborne Corps, issued a declaration to his subordinates: "Innocent people will inevitably suffer. This is

The inevitable consequences of war!"

As a result, wherever his squadron passed by, there were mountains of bones and fields full of blood.

One of the reports attracted Wang Hengyue’s special attention:

".¨If the tortures I mentioned above are the 18th level of hell, then waterboarding can be said to be the 19th level of hell. The caught native was pressed to the ground, his limbs were tied tightly, and his head was upside down.

, so that the water can be poured easily. It is impossible to shut up because there are bamboo chopsticks passing through the nostrils, making it impossible to shut up. Now, the water pouring begins, and the poor man has to struggle, but it is in vain. One kilogram is a lot

, but then came the second kilogram, and then the third kilogram. At this time, the body of the victim was almost exploded, but it was wrong, because then came the fourth kilogram, and the fifth kilogram. At this time, the body was no longer what it was.

Under such circumstances, it was of course impossible to speak. So, the water release began. If you are lucky, the water release can proceed naturally. But most of them use pressure. A soldier said to me: "We will step on him and use

The speed of releasing water was accelerated. The soldier laughed loudly when describing this action, and he was extremely proud of it.

A soldier told me that he had seen it two to three hundred times, sometimes as many as twice a day. Another soldier told me that he had seen it many times. An officer said to me that he had seen it six times, but

He knew it more than 200 times. It’s true that all these things I said are not very beautiful, but they are true!”

"None of these things happened, and they never have."

After reading these reports, Wang Hengyue threw them aside: "When suppressing the rioters, we did encounter serious resistance, but there was never any abuse or massacre. There was no such thing before, and there will be no such thing in the future."

History is always like this, and the truth can only be grasped by a very small number of people. No one can question what the winner has done.

In this way, through massacre and bribery, the Chinese occupying forces finally suppressed the remaining forces of the Philippine rioters, and the war in the Philippines finally ended.

Everything that has ever happened on this island has been hidden. There was no massacre, no one.

This is recorded in Chinese textbooks:

"When the Chinese Communist Party entered the Philippines, they were warmly welcomed by the forced Filipino people. They complained angrily about everything the Americans had done on the island, and shouted that the Chinese Communist Party was the 'liberator.

,,The Chinese government and their army repaid the equally friendly Filipinos with their kindness. Most of them became friends with the Filipinos and helped the local post-war reconstruction work. This caused even more

Widely respected by Filipinos."

That's it, that's it.

History is written by the victors!
