275 Edogawa Ranpo and Conan Doyle's Bastard Son

"Ah, this weather... is really annoying!" Suzuki Sonoko looked out the window at the cloudy sky and dim light, with a look of disgust on her face.

"I dressed up carefully, but in the end I couldn't even see any sunlight. The weather forecast was of no use at all."

Hanyu Qingan sat beside the bed and looked at the white dress she was wearing. The style was very plain and there was nothing fancy about it.

But if you look closely, you can find that the collar, cuffs and waist details are all embroidered with the same pattern, echoing up and down, and the embellishment is very appropriate.

Under the skirt is a pair of white and tender legs that are eye-catching. Only a part of them is exposed, but it is more eye-catching than if they were all exposed.

"Okay, I've finished admiring it. Now you're not dressed up in vain." Hanyu Qing'an then raised his head and looked at Suzuki Sonoko's face, smiling and comforting him.

Suzuki Sonoko pouted and shook her head, finally satisfied.

"There is a car right out of the door, so you can go directly to the place. There is no delay on rainy days. Besides, rainy days are better."

"How do you say that?" Suzuki Sonoko asked.

"Have you forgotten? When you first held an umbrella for me?" Hanyu Qing'an grabbed Suzuki Sonoko's wrist, "That rainy day was the first time I fell in love with you."

When Suzuki Sonoko heard this, she immediately felt that it made sense, and she felt happy in her heart. However, a sudden thought made her feel that something was wrong. She took out her hand angrily, put it on her waist and cursed:

"You heartless person, you fell in love with me so late, you're so sorry for me!"

"..." Hanyu Qing'an was speechless for a moment. Is this okay?

Seeing that the time to go out has been delayed, fortunately, someone who was more anxious to go out broke in. Yuzi got up early today, dressed up obediently, and deliberately skipped two bites at lunch, just waiting for the evening meal.

What about the big dinner?

"Are you okay?"

With an impatient look on her face, Yuzu relieved Hanyu Qingan. He stood up and patted Suzuki Sonoko on the lower back, "Hurry up, stop making trouble, the little greedy cat is getting anxious."

Suzuki Sonoko glanced at him, went to the cabinet to find the bag she needed to go out today, and then pulled Yuzu out.

When we got downstairs, a taxi was already waiting here. Today was cloudy and it was a suitable day for recruitment. Toru Amuro and others were relatively busy, so Hanyu Kiyosu did not give them any additional tasks.

"Mr. Driver, please take us to Chinatown." After getting in the car, Suzuki Sonoko announced the destination.

Hearing the name Chinatown, Hanyu Qing'an had more expectations.

The car drove for a long time. When we arrived at the place, looking at the neon lights and antique buildings in front of us, Hanyu Qing'an didn't feel familiar at all.

Where does this Chinese style come from? This is probably not cyberpunk style.

Especially when he saw a sign at the entrance of the hotel, he was even more confused.

"Conan Doyle Building?" Suzuki Sonoko was also very surprised, "Why does Chinatown have such a foreign name?"

"Who knows, but this place is quite suitable for Conan..." Hanyu Qing'an complained.

Suzuki Sonoko nodded and agreed: "That's right. It's strange to name that brat Conan. It sounds like the illegitimate son of Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo."

Hanyu Qing'an was startled and looked at her in surprise. He really had guessed, "You still know about Edogawa Ranpo?"

Suzuki Sonoko was immediately dissatisfied and said: "Am I just a fool who knows nothing in your eyes? Although I don't dare to be interested in these two people, but that guy Shinichi talks endlessly in front of me and Xiaolan every day.

I don’t think it’s okay if I don’t know.”

Hanyu Qing'an suddenly realized that he was right. It seemed that Kudo Shinichi was indeed very talkative when talking about reasoning.

Hanyu Qing'an looked strange and said: "Sonoko...you didn't see anything weird, right? For example, Danmei or something..."

Suzuki Sonoko was stunned, "What is that?"

Hanyu Qing'an shook his head, "It's okay, there's nothing. Come in quickly, Yuzu can't wait any longer."

A few people entered the restaurant. The interior decoration was indeed very Chinese in style. It was an ancient style popular among the older generation. The bright red color was used everywhere, like splashed ink.

It seemed that because of the rain, there were only two scattered tables of guests in the huge hall. Hanyu Qing'an and the other three were warmly received as soon as they entered.

The lobby on the first floor has a wide layout and little privacy. Hanyu Qingan chose a table by the window on the second floor, which was quiet and convenient for watching the rain.

"A portion of mapo tofu, and then some of your specialty dishes, with authentic tastes." Hanyu Qing'an ordered directly without looking at the menu they provided, and he used Chinese.

The menus put out by this kind of restaurant are all for Japanese people. The names and dishes may not match up, and the taste is even worse. It is better to see what the chef is good at and what he cooks.

As soon as he heard that it was in Chinese, the waiter immediately understood it, and after confirming in Chinese that it was authentic, he went down.

"Can you speak Chinese?" Suzuki Sonoko looked curious.

Hanyu Qing'an said matter-of-factly: "How could I not know Chinese when I study the Book of Changes? Yuzu can speak a little bit."

Hanyu Kiyosu did not force Yuzi to learn two languages. The child was still young and it was a time for children to have fun. He only occasionally taught some Chinese vocabulary on things that Yuzi was interested in.

Well, just all kinds of snacks.

"No, no, no, I mean you seem to speak fluently and your accent seems to be very authentic."

Suzuki Sonoko found it very strange. When they first met, this guy had a weird Japanese accent, but now he speaks Chinese so fluently.

"You can't understand Chinese, how do you know that my accent is authentic?" Hanyu Qingan said casually, leaving Suzuki Sonoko speechless.

Because there were few guests, the meals were served one after another in a short while, and a large table was set up.

Dishes include Mapo Tofu, BJ Roast Duck, Kung Pao Chicken, Boiled Fish, Three Cup Chicken, etc. Staple snacks include Xiao Long Bao, Dumplings, Spring Rolls, Siomai, Fried Rice, etc.

Hanyu Qing'an looked at the amount of food and twitched his mouth. There was no way three people could finish this. This restaurant and fellow villagers are really rude.

Then use chopsticks to take two bites. Oh, this taste is really "authentic".

Hanyu Qing'an was about to shake his head, but he saw that Yuzu's mouth was full of oil, and he was quite happy.

"Is it tasty?"

"Uh-huh..." Yuzi couldn't find time to answer, her face was bulging like a hamster, her eyes were narrowed, and she was so happy that people were infected by it.

"What do you think?" Hanyu Qing'an asked Suzuki Sonoko again.

Suzuki Sonoko nodded, "It's not bad. I asked about this restaurant before and they said it's the most authentic."

This is the most authentic...

Hanyu Kiyon was speechless for a moment. Forget it, maybe it is right to adapt to local conditions. People in each country have different tastes, so adaptive improvements must be made.
