Preface War is a wound that never heals

I sorted out old things when I was young and saw a photo. It was originally black and white. Later, my brother Mao who lived upstairs at that time colored it with a colored pen. It became a "color photo" photo. I was wearing a velvet hat with a hat brim, with a five-pointed star in the middle, holding a submachine gun (of course, toys) and it looked like a little warrior. Later I found that many boys had such a photo when they were young, and various toy guns accounted for the majority of their toys when they were young.

No wonder our army is the most powerful, because we have been trained in infantry since we were young

I have also read some interviews with veterans and found that as veterans, the East and the West have completely different ideas about war. This may be related to the bullying in modern China. We are engaged in helpless wars for more time - anti-aggression wars. There is no way to do it, because we must surrender without fighting and be slaves to the country with peace of mind. This is the bottom line of a nation's endurance. But although I understand this truth, I still feel sorry. In such a large China, there are many talents in the literary world, but there is no anti-war novel or novel reflecting on war. The only thing we reflect on is: Come and see, we were bullied at the beginning, and the trauma brought by the war to both parties involved was ignored by us.

The Chinese nation is a great and kind nation, and it has also been humiliated in modern times. Therefore, we really hope that there will be more people with "iron-blooded" blood, leaders of iron blood, generals of iron blood, soldiers of iron blood, and people of iron blood, but we have forgotten that blood has never been iron, it is red, and if you lose too much, people will die. In war or after war, death is often not the worst. The worst thing is how to survive.

At the end of the American novel "Brothers Company", most of the brave and warlike brothers of D-Company chose construction or education work after retirement, which seemed to be a kind of compensation for the damage caused by the war. Only a very small number of people chose to stay in the army and become professional soldiers. Some soldiers were unable to adjust their wartime mentality and could not integrate into peaceful life. They sneaked into the mountains to build their residence into a fortress. These can actually be called sequelae of war. At the same time, this is also the greatness of European and American military works. They revealed the harm caused to people in a deeper sense.

Some are exactly what our literary works lack. Although not completely, they are very few, and the levels are not deep enough. Since even these are lacking, let alone having excellent anti-war literary works. It can be said that our military works are all inspiring people to kill people, and it seems that killing people is easy, and there is no psychological burden at all. During the day, we use machine guns to sweep down a large piece of food and sleep well at night. As for what to do after peace, from the perspective of no performance, the heroic soldiers are more like murderers, and they are serial murderers, thinking about whether they are going to fight.

Based on this, we need anti-war literature, at least literature that reflects on war based on war. Only when we seriously reflect on war can we become real righteous warriors. Only when we think about war seriously can we become terrible things like "nuclear tackle Taiwan", "Tokyo Massacre", "Destroy Japan and Slaughter the United States" will be truly cleared from our minds.

I am not an excellent writer, and this book is just a throwaway to the point of being a vanguard in China's anti-war and war reflection novels. I hope to become a vanguard in China's anti-war and war reflection novels.
