Chapter 306: The Meaning of Pink Shells

The blue water is slightly rippled; like a woman's deep pupils, full of tenderness.

"Hey~~" The coachman pulled the reins, turned around and raised the curtain: "The two guests have arrived!"

"Yes!" King Jin responded and helped Liu Hanyan get out of the carriage. He took out the silver coins and threw them to the driver.

The driver grinned from ear to ear and put away the money: "Two distinguished guests! Do you need me to wait here?"

"No need!" King Jin replied quietly.

The coachman heard this and kindly reminded him: "Two guests! It's not easy for you to find a carriage here!"

King Jin frowned slightly, obviously impatient.

Liu Hanyan saw this and said with a smile: "We have friends here. They will send us back then, so I won't bother you to wait here!"

When the coachman heard this, he smiled and said, "Okay! I wish you a good time!" After that, he drove the carriage away.

King Jin stretched out his hand to take Liu Hanyan and walked towards the seaside; looking around, he saw crowds of people surging.

"Aren't they all here to pick up shells?!" Liu Hanyan was a little surprised.

King Jin's lips curved into a smile: "It seems that your guess is correct!" King Jin kept walking and led Liu Hanyan towards the soft beach.

"This is like finding a needle in a haystack!" Liu Hanyan muttered.

King Jin said nothing and led Liu Hanyan to the seaside.

Liu Hanyan looked around and found many people walking barefoot in the sea water; she was secretly delighted: "Let's take off our shoes and go into the water too?!"

King Jin's face darkened instantly: "No!"

Liu Hanyan protested and pouted: "They can take off their shoes, why can't Hanyan?!" After speaking, he bent down and took off his shoes with provocation.

King Jin stretched out his hand and pulled up Liu Hanyan, veins appeared on his forehead: "Look at which woman takes off her shoes?! Huh?!"

"They..." Liu Hanyan pointed at the people in the sea with her slender finger. Before she finished speaking, she couldn't help but swallowed her saliva: 'Why are they all men?!'

"Why didn't you say anything?! Huh?!" King Jin's anger did not dissipate.

Liu Hanyan's eyes flashed with annoyance, and he was ready to take off his shoes, but then he thought, don't be looked at like a monkey!

"Take it off!"

Liu Hanyan straightened up, glared at King Jin, turned around and walked away.

Stepping on the soft beach, Liu Hanyan couldn't help but think of the scene where several good sisters used to play wildly at the beach; the look in her eyes gradually became complicated.

Staring at Liu Hanyan's slightly sad back, King Jin's eyes flashed with annoyance; he quickly caught up with him.

"Yanyan! It's my fault, I shouldn't have hurt you!" King Jin's tone was slightly awkward, and he stretched out his hand to pull Liu Hanyan Roucat.

Liu Hanyan waved his hands to avoid it.

"Yanyan~~"

Liu Hanyan turned a deaf ear to Prince Jin's apology. He walked slowly to an old woman around fifty years old and saw her basket filled with shells. He asked curiously: "Why did you catch so many shells?"

The old woman raised her eyes and looked at Liu Hanyan, who was wearing fine clothing: "I pick up shells; firstly, for food, and secondly..." The old woman smiled: "...Let's see if we can pick up the legendary pink shells!"

"I see..." Liu Hanyan leaned over with a smile and followed the old woman to pick up shells.

"Looking at the girl's clothes, she must be from a rich family, right?! Why are you here to pick up shells? Could it be..." The old woman stared at Liu Hanyan suspiciously: "...The girl is also looking for the legendary pink shells?"

"No!" Liu Hanyan shook his head and explained with a smile: "We were out for fun. We passed by this place and heard that there were glowing shells here, so we wanted to come and take a look!"

"So that's it!" the old woman laughed: "There are often girls like you here looking for pink shells; they are all looking forward to happy love!"

Liu Hanyan's eyes sparkled: "Pink shells still represent love?!"

"Legend has it that if a couple picks up a pink shell, they are destined to love each other for the rest of their lives!" the old woman explained with a smile, and then a hint of shyness appeared on her cheeks: "When I was young, the old woman often went to the beach with the old man, hoping to be lucky enough to pick it up.

To the pink shell, so many years have passed, but..." The old woman couldn't help but sigh.

Liu Hanyan pursed her lips and consoled her: "Even without the blessing of the pink shell, I believe that as long as we are destined, even if we travel across thousands of mountains and rivers, we will always meet again!"

When the old woman heard this, she immediately beamed: "The girl is right!" She glanced at King Jin from the corner of her eye and smiled: "This should be your lover, right?!"

Liu Hanyan curled his lips: "No..."

"Yes! You are really discerning!" King Jin's voice overshadowed Liu Hanyan's.

The old woman had lived half her life, so how could she not see the fishiness in it? She smiled and asked, "Are the two of you getting into trouble?!"

Liu Hanyan pouted and said angrily: "I don't know him!"

The old woman laughed and shook her head, then walked towards King Jin: "Young man! Give me a good hug!"

King Jin nodded with a smile.

Liu Hanyan looked back at the old woman: "Aren't you going to pick it up?"

"No!" The old woman glanced at the basket: "That's enough for today! You go ahead and pick it up!" After saying that, she waved to Liu Hanyan and turned to leave.

King Jin stepped forward and approached Liu Hanyan: "Yanyan~~"

"Humph!" Liu Hanyan snorted coldly, squatting down to pick up the shells.

King Jin squatted down beside Liu Hanyan: "Are you still angry?!"

Liu Hanyan turned her little face to one side and decided to be angry to the end.

King Jin laughed, picked up a few shells in front of him, and handed them to Liu Hanyan: "Here!"

"No!" Liu Hanyan opened King Jin's big hand, lowered his eyes and picked up a shell that King Jin had deliberately missed.

King Jin frowned: "It's so ugly!"

Liu Hanyan pinched the shell into the palm of his hand and looked at it carefully; the surface of the normal shell is smooth, but the surface of this shell is hollow and spotted, and the body is thin and long; Liu Hanyan frowned slightly and muttered secretly: '

So ugly!'

King Jin stretched out his hand to pinch the shell in Liu Hanyan's palm.

Liu Hanyan hurriedly clasped her white jade hands: "What do you want to do?!"

"Throw it away! It's so ugly!" King Jin handed the shell in his hand to Liu Hanyan again: "Bring these to Yiyi!"

"No!" King Jin's tyranny aroused Liu Hanyan's rebellion in her heart. She tightly grasped the shell in her hand, got up and walked away.

"Okay! Since you like it, keep it!" King Jin said in a very helpless tone.

Liu Hanyan looked at the many shells on the beach, wanting to pick them up but having no place to put them; he frowned in confusion.

"What's wrong?" King Jin asked.

Liu Hanyan said tangledly: "Hanyan wants to pick up more shells, but there is no place to put them!"

"Then don't pick it up! I have enough in my hand to play with them one by one!" King Jin said directly.

Liu Hanyan lowered his eyes unwillingly; suddenly an idea flashed and he looked at King Jin with bright eyes: "Go and pick up the pastry bag we just threw away!"

"No!" King Jin refused directly; he didn't want to do such a shameful thing!

Liu Hanyan's smiling face suddenly dropped and she walked towards the car.

King Jin grabbed Liu Hanyan: "What are you going to do?!"

"Go pick up the bag!" After saying that, he broke away from King Jin's restraints.

"I'll go with you!" King Jin said worriedly.

"No! Just wait here!" Liu Hanyan refused and walked forward.

King Jin grabbed Liu Hanyan again: "You wait here! I'll go!"

Liu Hanyan paused and looked at King Jin walking forward quickly.

"Don't wander around!" King Jin looked back and warned.

"Well!" Liu Hanyan gave him a reassuring look.

King Jin raised his steps again and stepped forward.

Liu Hanyan took out a small porcelain vase from his arms, walked to the beach to get some water, and stuffed the shells into the porcelain vase. The mouth of the bottle was not too big or too small, just enough to stuff the shells in; Liu Hanyan carefully covered it

He took the bottle cap and stuffed it back into his pocket.

"Are you here to pick up shells too?" A gentle voice sounded in Liu Hanyan's ears.

Liu Hanyan raised her eyes to look at the person who came, and admired slightly in her heart: 'What a lovely woman!'

The woman is dressed in an emerald green skirt; her slender willow waist is arousing people's admiration; her palm-sized face is inlaid with a pair of bright pupils, her pretty nose, and her cherry-red mouth are all lovable.

"Why don't you speak?" the woman asked curiously.

Liu Hanyan hurriedly put on a friendly smile: "My friends and I were passing by here and heard that there are shiny shells here, so we came to take a look!" Gazing at the woman's extraordinary temperament, Liu Hanyan asked with a smile: "I don't think this is a girl either.

Are you a local?!"

"You have such good eyesight!" The woman squatted down next to Liu Hanyan, rubbed her hands and smiled, "How did you see that?!"

Liu Hanyan's eyes lit up: "What a temperament!"

"You...ah..." the woman suddenly screamed and fell into the water.

Liu Hanyan hurriedly stood up and helped the woman: "Are you okay?!"

"No, it's okay!" Tears filled the woman's eyes, looking pitiful.

Liu Hanyan helped the woman walk towards the beach: "Why are you so careless?!"

"I lost my mind for a moment!" the woman replied, her eyes caught a glimpse of Liu Hanyan holding herself attentively, her wrist quickly raised, and she suddenly patted Liu Hanyan's neck.

Liu Hanyan's pupils dilated and he stared at the woman in front of him in disbelief: "You, you..." Before he could finish his words, he fell to the ground.

A hint of viciousness flashed in the woman's eyes: "You asked for this!"

King Jin hurried to the place where he got off the bus, but found that the bag was no longer where it was. He looked around and found that the bag had been blown to a branch not far away by the wind. King Jin flew up and took off the bag.

He put the shells in his hand into the bag and walked back with a smile.

King Jin returned to the beach and frowned slightly: "Where are the people?"

He looked around, the crowd was surging, and he couldn't see clearly who he was looking for.

Prince Jin moved quickly through the crowd, looking for Liu Hanyan's figure.

As time passed little by little, King Jin began to become panicked.

Finally, they searched all the places they could find in the entire sea area. Cold sweat broke out nervously on King Jin's forehead, confirming the uneasiness in his heart: 'Something happened!'

King Jin quickly returned to the place where he and Liu Hanyan separated, and looked carefully.

Under the sunlight, there was a faint white light under the sand. King Jin's heart trembled slightly, and he quickly bent down to peel away the sand. When he saw it, he saw a piece of white handkerchief. King Jin, who had always been calm, started to tremble in his hands: "...

Yanyan! Nothing happens to you! You must not..."
