Chapter 108 Bennett vs Slime

Famas, who had arranged for Lei Ze, fled back to Mondstadt overnight. After finding the drunk Wendy in the pub, he grabbed him by the collar and took him back to his room in the Knights.

Throw Wendy on the bed.

"What are you doing?"

Wendy, whose face was red from drinking, looked at Famas angrily.

"Drink less."

Famas lowered his head, wrapped himself in a quilt, used Wendy as a pillow, and fell asleep peacefully.

And the other side.

Early morning.

The singing of birds and the sound of dripping dew woke Lei Ze up. When he opened his eyes, a beam of sunlight shone in through the gap in the cave door stone. He slowly sat up, dusted the hay off his body, and shook his head.
"Uh...it hurts!"

He touched his neck, which had been hit by Famas last night, and murmured softly.

"Gone."

Lei Ze looked at the exit of the cave in despair. He knew that Famas had left.

"I will find you."

With firm eyes, Lei Ze touched the big sword lying beside the bed, propped up his body, pushed open the door blocking stone, and staggered out of his home.

In the forest near the Benlang Territory, a white-haired boy wearing goggles, a band-aid on his nose, and simply wearing a vest was walking cautiously alone with a one-handed sword in his hand.
It was Bennett who went out early in the morning.

He carefully explored the plants in every clump of weeds, looking for Uncaria graminis or some interesting rare treasures.

With his experienced and fast movements, he looks like he often takes risks in the wild.

Under a tree, Bennett carefully picked out a fresh hook nut with the tip of his sword and put it in his pocket.

"Finally...after searching for so long, I finally found one. I'm so lucky. I'll give this one to Miss Sarah for cooking!"

Suddenly, a strange digging sound came from his right ear.

Bennett slowly opened the grass and saw a girl in red digging a small hole in the ground with a shovel and inserting a wooden sign next to it.

Bennett walked forward and patted the shoulder of the little girl shoveling the soil in front of him.

"Hello?"

"Ah!? Qin...you...hello!"

The little girl was startled and quickly turned around and responded.

"Keli, what a coincidence, I can meet you here."

"It's Brother Bennett!"

After confirming that they were acquaintances, both of them seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Hey...Good morning, Keli, what are you doing?"

Bennett stepped forward, looked at the words written on the wooden sign, and then thought thoughtfully: "There is no treasure here...?"

"No, really not!"

After hearing Bennett's words, Kelly quickly filled in the soil, then stood on it and stepped on it a few times to flatten the soil.

Bennett suddenly laughed out loud and pointed at the sign written by Kelly.

"Hahaha, you might as well not write it on your brand! There must be a treasure there!"

Keli pouted and touched her head.

"Hey, Brother Bennett, how did you know?"

"This... this seems obvious... Don't worry! I will keep it a secret for Keli!"

"Okay! So what is Brother Bennett doing?"

Keli crookedly added a line of small words under the wooden sign, and then asked the enthusiastic Bennett at the side.

Bennett took out a stunted, blue-purple hook fruit from his pocket.

"I'm picking this..."

Kelly looked at the small fruit in Bennett's hand, thought for a moment, and pointed forward.

"Over there, below, Keli just saw a lot of plants like this, but they are all purple."

"What?! Keli is so lucky? I searched for a long time before I found one."

Keli's words surprised Bennett, who had always been unlucky, and a little frustrated. He had been looking for things for a long time, but Keli accidentally saw a lot of them.

Kelly took Bennett and walked down the hillside, continuing to look for the hook nut.

"Hey, Keli! Slow down, be careful not to fall."

Bennett was behind, chasing Keli who was trotting forward with her hands open.

Suddenly, with a pop, he fell into a trap at his feet.

The trap was nearly as deep as Bennett's height, and it was filled with sticky slime.

After hearing the sound, Keli turned around and looked at Bennett behind her.

A white-haired head emerged from a large piece of green slime, and Keli walked forward curiously.

"Eh? Brother Bennett, what are you playing at?"

"I fell into a trap!"

Looking at the innocent-looking Kelly, Bennett tried his best to open up his body and expand the contact area with the slime.

According to his past experience, only by opening his body into a big letter shape can he avoid falling into the trap.

"Wow! Keli is here to save you!"

Hearing Bennett's words, Kelly quickly ran to the edge of the pit, grabbed Bennett's head, and tried to pull him out of the slime like a carrot.

"Hey, I can't pull it out."

After using up the strength of Niu Jiuerhu, Keli was able to pull Bennett's neck out.

At this moment, Bennett seemed to feel something was wrong.

"Kelly...these slimes seem to be moving?"

Bennett had spread his limbs and tried hard to prevent himself from sinking, but the slime in the trap seemed to move on its own.

"Eh?"

Bennett's eyes widened.

Keli stared at Bennett who was breathing heavily, thinking it was a long-term blockage. Bennett couldn't breathe, and anxiously circled around the trap.

"Yes! Brother Bennett, I will blow you up with a bomb!"

Keli slapped her head and took out a bomb that was bigger than her head from her backpack. She just held it in front of Bennett and shook her head again as if she remembered something.

"It's too big, Brother Famas said, big bombs will hurt people..."

Keli threw the big bomb aside, then took out a dozen small bombs from the gap next to the backpack, and slowly buried them one by one next to the trap.

But at this moment, Bennett sank deeper and deeper, his mouth had been sealed, and he could only breathe through his nose.

"Kelly... hurry up..."

Bennett tried hard to push out the slime gel in his mouth with his tongue, and raised his neck, waiting for Kelly's rescue.

"Brother Bennett, don't worry, it'll be fine..."

Keli nervously surrounded Bennett, running with her short legs clicking, stretching out her hands, and placing the bombs one by one.

However, just when Keli had arranged all the bombs and was about to detonate them, her fingers accidentally touched the slime gel in the trap, and was suddenly pulled by a suction force and brought into the gel.

"Ahhh, brother Bennett!"

Keli screamed in panic, but Bennett, who was completely sealed by the gel and could only breathe out through his nostrils, could not help at all. He could only use his best strength to lift Keli up as she gradually sank in.<

"Bounce bomb!"

As Keli yelled, the bombs surrounding the two exploded instantly, causing flying rocks mixed with gel.

The two of them flew towards the lawn.
