Chapter 164 Great one-week performance! Blazer fans anger!

On December 29, the NBA officially announced the Player of the Week for the Eastern and Western Conferences last week.

The Eastern Conference Best of the Week went to James. He averaged 30 points, 6.5 rebounds and 8 assists per game last week. His performance was very comprehensive!

The Western Conference Player of the Week went to Chen Yan without any suspense.

This is not the first time he has won the award of the week, but it is definitely the craziest one!

Last week he averaged exaggerated numbers of 49.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game!

ESPN even launched a special weekly voting event for NBA players based on Chen Yan's performance.

Among them, the 'God of Basketball' Jordan ranked first in this selection by averaging 48.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in a single week during the 1989-90 season.

Followed closely by Kobe Bryant, who averaged 51.5 points per game in the 2005-06 season, which was the miracle week of 81 points in a single game.

Chen Yan appears at third place on this list.

Ranked fourth is Bird, and Iverson ranks fifth on this list, averaging 44.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game.

Although this is not an honor, Chen Yan feels very satisfied when he sees himself being placed with these great players more and more often.

This is a kind of external recognition.

On December 31st, the Suns went to the torn city of Portland. They will challenge the Trail Blazers, their last opponent in December, away from home tonight.

The Trail Blazers are currently ranked eighth in the Western Conference and are working hard for a playoff ticket.

It's not that the Blazers are weak, it's that the Western Conference has been too deeply involved this year.

Last year's defending champion Spurs can only rank fifth in the Western Conference this year despite retaining the original team. Just look at them and you will know how competitive the Western Conference is this year.

The game started quickly, and the two sides fought back and forth in the first quarter.

The Trail Blazers have Aldridge inside and Roy outside, as well as outstanding bench players such as Outlaw, Channing Frye, Blake and newly transferred players Marion and Barbosa this summer.

This team is not bad both on paper and in actual combat effectiveness. What they lack now is a little experience. The two core players Aldridge and Roy are still too young.

In the second quarter, 'Yellow Mamba' Roy suddenly showed his strength, scoring 14 points in a single quarter with sudden shots from inside and outside, leading the Trail Blazers to overtake the score in one fell swoop!

Kobe once said that Brandon Roy was a player without any weaknesses, and Roy's performance today was worthy of Kobe's evaluation.

He can get layups, mid-range, three-pointers and fast breaks with ease, and Roy has the style of a general. His calm mind is enough to ensure that he will become an excellent leader. It is no wonder that the Blazers will bet on him.

Use Chen Yan to trade Marion and Barbosa in the draft.

It's a pity that they couldn't foresee Roy's injury. In his previous life, Roy suffered both knees being scrapped at the peak of his career and sadly quit the NBA stage.

Speaking of which, I have to mention the pioneer veterinarian again...

After a 15-minute break in the middle, Chen Yan led the team to counterattack in the third quarter!

Chen Yan continuously used offensive and defensive transitions to grab points, and the sudden increase in speed left the Blazers at a loss!

In the final quarter, the Trail Blazers, led by Roy and Aldridge, tried to chase points.

At this critical moment, Chen Yan used a wave of single three-pointers to directly extinguish the Blazers' counterattack!

102 to 95, the Suns finally won the game in a thrilling away game!

Seeing Chen Yan scoring 29 points in the second half and scoring 41 points in the game, many Blazers fans have already started greeting their general manager in various ways in the stands.

They think the deal to trade Chen Yan for Marion and Barbosa is so damn stupid!

In the box, Trail Blazers manager Steve Patterson was speechless when he saw this.

He vaguely remembered that when this deal was announced a few months ago, the Blazers fan circle was full of praise. Many people even thought that exchanging a rookie for an All-Star forward and a best sixth man was simply robbery!

Steve Pat said it was you who praised me at first, and now you are the ones who call me stupid.

Are the fans this season so difficult to serve?
