Chapter VIII The Lovesickness of Law II

After returning from the Lower Court, Fa Er was lovesick. He didn't think about tea or food. He stayed in the dormitory all day long, or else he always asked Fa Hai some incomprehensible questions, which made Fa Hai very annoyed and wanted to

It is difficult to achieve even if you enter meditation and practice to consolidate your state.

"Senior brother, why are you not eating well, restless, and unable to sleep at night?" Fa Er sat cross-legged on the wooden bed, holding his chin with his hands, his eyes were swollen and full of confusion.

"These are all karma!"

Fahai, who was facing the empty wall and preparing to face the wall and meditate, sighed helplessly. This Fa Er was a genius in cultivation. After one year on the mountain, his martial arts cultivation reached the stage of refining gas and turning into gold. He was still one step away from being able to enter the Dharma from martial arts and create the Great Forest.

However, in terms of emotions, he is indeed an idiot, and he is okay with it.

Fa Er nodded blankly and then asked, "Brother, do you think I can eliminate this karma?"

"It is not easy to eliminate karma. However, you and I are both monks and nuns. As long as we always do what the Buddha once said, with our hearts toward the Buddha, our words and deeds toward the Buddha, we will naturally feel like a dry well and be free from worries.

All gone, no more waves..."

"Senior brother, can't I be more realistic?" Fa Er interrupted impatiently.

"To put it simply, we must abstain from sex, abide by the rules and disciplines, be like a monk, and stop thinking about those things that are available and not available..."

"Senior brother, don't you feel guilty when you say this?"

"Amitabha, that's why I said it's not simple..."

"Brother, don't argue with me. You said, if no one cares about you all day long, what's the point of living? What's the point of our life? I didn't understand until I saw her yesterday afternoon.

The meaning of life. Senior brother, what is the meaning of your life?"

"Just looking for meaning." Fa Hai smiled faintly.

"What is meaning?"

"It is to devote your limited life to infinite troubles..."

"Uh~ I really can't argue with you." Fahai was speechless for a moment, his head drooped, and he was defeated.

"If you can't argue, just go to sleep and don't disturb me for meditating. At such a young age, why do you have so many worries..." Fa Hai shook his head.

Hearing Fa Hai's words, Fa Er was silent for a while. After a while, he raised his head again, mustered up the courage to ask, "Senior brother, I look so ugly, do you think she will dislike me?"

"meeting!"

Fa Hai heard this and struck mercilessly. He finally discovered that if Fa Er Jue didn't let Fa Er Jue stop his mind, he would never be able to calm down and meditate in the past few days.

"Brother, you are too direct. According to what you said, I might as well just die!" Fa Er said angrily.

"What's the use of death? If you are ugly in this life, will you not be ugly in the next life? Think about it!"

Fa Hai paused for a moment, then said with some explanation, "As the saying goes, pigs have lost all the good flowers. Look at the pilgrims who come to the mountain these days, how many couples are beautiful women and handsome men? So, the value of a man is not

Beauty or ugliness depends on whether the tricks to pick up girls are strong or not."

When Fa Er heard this, his eyes suddenly lit up and he became energetic. He stood up and jumped in front of Fa Hai. He bowed and said with a flattering look on his face, "I beg you, senior brother, to teach me a few tricks!"

Fahai was stunned when he heard this, turned his eyes, and suddenly smiled, "I learned two secrets in the capital when I was young. One is called the Three Deaths Dharma, and the other is called the Three Waves Mantra. They are the most wonderful Dharma in the world. According to the Dharma,

And, even the princess of the current dynasty can do it. Do you want to learn?"

"You have to learn, you have to learn..." Fa Er looked pious and nodded like a chicken eating rice.

"Which one should I learn?"

"Three Deaths sounds too scary, but Three Waves sounds meaningful, so just learn the Three Waves Mantra!|"

Fahai nodded, "Okay, there is a copy of "The Hinayana Moving Method" in the lower left corner of the bookcase in Master's meditation room. You can secretly bring it to me, and I will teach you the first form of the Three Waves Mantra."

"Isn't that "The Hinayana Moving Method" a magic spell for building the foundation in our temple? It's such an ordinary thing, senior brother, why don't you go directly to the master?" Fa Er asked curiously.

"If you want to learn, don't ask so many questions." Fahai snorted.

"I'll steal it right away!"

"The Hinayana Transporting Method" is one of the compulsory courses for Dalin disciples after entering the secret realm of immortality. The so-called Hinayana Transporting Method is a basic method of using the power of mind. After it is completed, it can capture objects from a distance, drive the weapon of mind, and practice it to the highest depths.

It can even materialize the power of thoughts, gather thoughts into force, and kill people invisible.

The Hinayana carrying method is only a tenth-level method, and it is indeed not a rare thing in Dalin Temple. However, Fahai also has Fahai's troubles. If he goes directly to Zen Master Wudu to ask for it, once Master Wudu becomes suspicious, he will

Can't explain it.

Fa Hai also knew that the fact that he had achieved the acquired spiritual body could not be concealed forever. Sooner or later, Zen Master Wudu would know about it. However, for him now, he could delay it day by day so that he could have time to think of a way to justify it.

Method.

Exiting the second method, Fa Hai faced the empty wall, concentrated his mind and calmly, silently performed the Dharma Wall Contemplation Method, and his mind entered the sea of consciousness again.

"No movement, no stillness, no birth and no destruction, no right and wrong, no dwelling and no destination, calmness and silence, that is eternal life."

In the boundless starry sky, Fahai's natal Dharma form, Tranquility Buddha, is sitting with his eyes closed. As soon as Fahai's mind enters the sea of consciousness, he instantly becomes one with Tranquility Buddha.

For a moment, Calm Buddha suddenly opened his eyes, stood up and turned into a golden light, flying towards the depths of the starry sky.

The sea of consciousness of Buddhist practitioners is also called the sea of suffering, which is the embodiment of the heart. The sea of consciousness of Buddhist practitioners with different experiences is also different. Some are like four walls, while others are boundless and form a world of their own.

The sea of consciousness is originally a void, but within the sea of consciousness of the Dharma Sea, there are dots of stars. Because as long as there are thoughts in a person's day, there will be splendor, sound, fragrance, taste, touch, law, happiness, anger, etc.

There are countless thoughts such as sadness, fear, love, evil, desire, etc. These thoughts may be big or small, strong or weak, and are collectively called distracting thoughts.

Master Shenxiu, the founder of Shaolin Temple, once said: The body is like a Bodhi tree, and the mind is like a mirror; always brush it diligently to prevent it from causing dust.

In these short twenty words, it can be said that the true meaning of cultivating Buddhism is revealed.

The practice of Buddhist practitioners is to cleanse away distracting thoughts and restore the original mind. In the view of Buddhist practitioners, distracting thoughts are one of the sources of mindfulness. Every distracting thought contains a certain amount of mindfulness. The practice of Buddhist practitioners is to use the dharma of the original life.

Absorb distracting thoughts and turn the thought power contained in them into your own magic power, thereby strengthening the dharma of your life. After cultivating the relics, you can go one step further and unite heaven and man. Use the relics to absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and continue practicing.

Buddhist practitioners believe that the higher the level of cultivation, the stronger the power, the greater the power, the more distracting thoughts will be in the mind. Therefore, the more advanced the person's cultivation, the more diligent they must be to wipe the mind at all times to maintain the state of a clear mirror.

This is also the reason why eminent monks often like to sit in meditation.

This is generally the case in Buddhist practice. As for the sentence put forward by Master Jidian, the founder of Yunlin Temple, "Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a stand; there is nothing in the first place, how can it cause dust?" However, it breaks the common sense and is far from true.

Ordinary people can refer to it for practice.

Master Jidian’s real name is Shenji, and he came from the same school as Dalin Shenguang and Shaolin Shenxiu. He was originally an illiterate Huo Gong Tutu. It was because of this saying that he was favored by Bodhidharma.

The closed disciple was given the name Shenji and wanted to pass on the mantle. Unexpectedly, Patriarch Bodhidharma only returned to the west, but was jealous of Shenxiu and expelled him from the disciples. Then he started anew and opened up the Yunlin Temple lineage, calling himself Jidian.

, Honghua Tianxia. Because his name was changed twice, but both contain the word Ji, so he was called Jigong.

Jigong’s laughter and curses are all based on Buddhism, but he is an existence with a monster-like understanding. His method of practice is not suitable for promotion at all. Therefore, most of today’s Buddhist practitioners in the Zen Forest Sect practice according to the ideas of Master Shenxiu. Therefore,

, Shaolin Temple is known as the authentic Zen forest.

Ignoring the grievances and grudges between the three founders of the Heart Sect, I just talked about the sea of dharma, commanding the calm Buddha in the body to fly across the starry sky quickly. Under the operation of the Bodhidharma wall observation method, the distracting thoughts derived from the past two days turned into little starlights.

, it is taken into the body like a thousand streams returning home.

All thoughts in the world return to me!

The Buddha's Dharma is extraordinary. The distracting thoughts that ordinary Buddhist practitioners need to sit in meditation for a night are swept away in just a few breaths. When the Calm Buddha stops and meditates, in addition to the cloud-like forty years of Dharma power,

The sea of consciousness has become nothingness, except for the hidden inner demon Yaksha, there is no more distracting thoughts.

At this time, the Calm Buddha, who had absorbed endless distracting thoughts, had become star-studded, sitting high in the sky, truly as dazzling and radiant as the eternal and immovable ancient Buddha, making it difficult to look at him.
