Chapter 29 Announce the wonderful method, Wu Na bald donkey
Zhang Xuanqing's face turned strange as he listened to everyone's whispers: The storyteller monk was locked up? He also thought that Buddhism was tainted and damaged from the bottom of the matter? It was so... joy! Hear! Happy! See!
On the contrary, Master Ci'en, who walked downstairs, looked bad and coughed lightly, reminding everyone who was muttering that he was still there. After the voices were slightly suppressed, he walked to Zhang Xuanqing again, folded his hands together, sang the Buddha's name, and said, "Amitabha, I am abbot of Suiyuan Temple. I have seen this Taoist priest."
"It's easy to say, it's easy to say." Zhang Xuanqing knew that the other party was not good, so he waved his hand casually: "What's the matter with the monk looking for me?"
In the Tang Dynasty, the word "monk" is not called casually. The original meaning of a monk is "teacher". You must have a certain qualification to be a teacher to be called a monk. Strictly speaking, Zhang Xuanqing's call is quite polite. However, others don't know that Zhang Xuanqing came from later generations. The word "monk" is no longer different from being called a bald donkey.
Master Ci'en's expression remained unchanged, with a somewhat "not happy with things, not sad with oneself". His eyes drooped slightly, "But there was nothing big, but the day before yesterday, the Taoist priest preached ancient things in public in this Zuixiang Tower. After my incompetent disciple retelled it, I felt that there was something doubtful about it, and imagined that the Taoist priest asked for advice."
"That's it..." Zhang Xuanqing pulled a long voice and suddenly smiled, "You don't have to be so polite, just like this. Today I am tired. When I have time, I will go to Suiyuan Temple to preach in person." This was a complete move to advance and retreat.
Compared to the two previous great men, this old monk is not easy to fool. Besides, Zhang Xuanqing knows his own affairs, and the things he talks are completely loopholes, and it’s just a matter of deceiving laymen. If anyone really studied the classics of Buddhism and Taoism in depth, no one would believe it unless he was extremely convinced by him, like Sun Simiao.
The reason why he said he went to Suiyuan Temple to preach was to tell the old monk and not to make trouble, otherwise he would force him to get angry and actually run to the gate of Suiyuan Temple to tell the story, others may not be able to tell the truth.
Even if he made a decision, he was still very confident in the book he taught. Even if he was listening to it, many people liked to listen.
Think about it, a monk temple in Suiyuan Temple, where a Taoist priest came to teach at his door and attracted a large group of listeners. Suiyuan Temple was also embarrassing.
However, the old monk seemed to have not heard it and said silently: "It is not necessary to go to Suiyuan Temple. In fact, what the Taoist said just now and what the Taoist priest said is just a story. I have no doubt about it. The stories are naturally fake, and there is no need to investigate them in depth. The reason why I still came out to call the Taoist priest was because the Taoist priest wrote the last poem, and I was afraid that the Taoist priest would make a mistake and mislead their children for a moment." He sighed.
Zhang Xuanqing raised his eyebrows, thinking that he was worthy of being an old monk, and he really said that he was a lotus flower. He first defined the story he told as fake in a few words, and then he turned himself into a army and said that he was misleading his children. But he added a "standard misconduct" in front, which made him not even have a chance to find a place. He laughed and said, "I wonder what the great monk has?"
Master Ci'en clasped his hands together and bowed slightly and said, "Since the Taoist priest asked, I said it. Today, the Taoist priest wrote three poems in total. The first two poems are not discussed for the time being, but the last one is inevitable. The Taoist priest said, "A golden elixir long life medicine." Others may not know that when I was young, I witnessed a Taoist priest who used black lead, mercury, and gold and stone to refine elixirs. What did the golden elixir be completed and immediately ascended. Unfortunately, the golden elixir is made, the Taoist priest
After taking it, he did not ascend, but instead his face turned blue and foamed at the mouth, and he died of poisoning. The Taoist priest said that the golden elixir was again mentioned today. In order to avoid doing your home test, I followed the Taoist priest after following the footsteps. Although I knew that this time of origin would damage the Taoist priest's reputation or even be evil. But for all the donors here, I dare not harm everyone's lives because of my own selfishness. Therefore, I said it rashly and called the Taoist priest, and hoped that the Taoist priest would not be surprised."
No wonder, no wonder, you've said this to this point, who dares to blame?
Zhang Xuanqing was so disgusted by the old monk. At first, although he could not say that he had a good impression of the old monk, he didn't have much disgust. But the old monk was first a general, and then pressed him step by step, aggressive. Although he said good things, he clearly stated that it was not something that a great monk should do.
There was another noise in the tavern. They had heard of the saying of Jindan. It can be said that all dynasties, from princes and nobles to ordinary people, have eaten Jindan and died of death, but it is not uncommon.
There are not many scholars here who bow their heads to their friends to list the emperors who have died of dynasties and medicines. Of course, some believe it, and some don’t believe it. Some still think that the golden elixir is trustworthy, but those people were deceived at the beginning.
On the second floor, Li Daoliben saw Master Ci'en asking for trouble for Zhang Xuanqing, so he wanted to go downstairs to cheer him. However, after hearing these words, it was like taking root under his feet and standing still, thinking about listening to how Zhang Xuanqing explained first.
Soon, everyone's attention was all concentrated on Zhang Xuanqing. But Zhang Xuanqing glanced at him and suddenly smiled at the sky, as if he had encountered something ridiculous, and tears were flowing out of his eyes.
Before anyone could ask him why he was laughing, Zhang Xuanqing suddenly laughed, which was extremely abrupt, making everyone present feel very discordant.
If Zhang Xuanqing didn't realize it, he just stared at Ci'en with a smile and said quietly: "Who said that the golden elixir I said is what garbage is?"
Hum? Trash?
Everyone present was stunned. They had guessed that Zhang Xuanqing would defend himself and talk about others. They never thought that he would say that the golden elixir was garbage.
"What does Taoist Master mean?" Master Ci'en's face changed slightly. Somehow, a bad feeling suddenly arises in his heart.
Zhang Xuanqing shook his head and sighed, sneering: "Golden elixir is the great medicine of the great way, the most spiritual and spiritual, not the world's gold, stone, plants, trees, black lead, mercury, nor are they visible objects such as furnace, pot, water, fire, etc. The so-called golden elixir: gold is a thing that is firm and hard, and never deteriorates; elixir is a thing that is perfect and pure and undestructible. I borrow the name of the golden elixir to describe the original nature of the true spirit. This nature is called Tai Chi in Confucianism, and it is called Yuanjue in Buddhism, and it is called Jindan in Taoism. Although the name is divided into three parts, it is actually one thing. "When one method is connected, all laws are connected, and don't divide north and south and west to east" is exactly this thing. Therefore, the golden elixir is a saint when the Confucianism practices, and it is a Buddha when the Tao is cultivated, and the saints of the three religions regard the original true nature as the basis of enlightenment."
"Therefore, the wonderful golden elixir is not a real thing, but the ancestral qi that is born in heaven and earth. It is invisible and shadowy, difficult to hold on to and see, and hidden in the hollow mysterious female. Only when the gods and immortals understand the creation of yin and yang, rotate the divine, secretly integrate the heavenly limit, gather the five elements, and merge with the four symbols, can they obtain the innate point of the ancestral qi."
"After the ancestral qi is formed, it should be transformed into millet, descend to the sky, pick it and accept it, and return to the original to receive life, so that it can be a guest of immortality. The so-called golden elixir is to gather and form it, and disperse it to form qi, which will go without hindrance, rise into invisible, and there will be infinite changes, and the way of freedom and freedom!"
"The key to alchemy is to use the body as an altar, furnace, cauldron, cauldron, cauldron, cauldron, cauldron, and cauldron as a divine room, sit upright and practice as a practice, take care of the fire, act as a move, stop as advance and retreat, intermittent and not specifically for dikes, use as a draw, fumigation of true qi as a bath, rest thoughts as a nourishing fire, concentrating the body and mind as a field battle, concentrate the mind and gather qi as a guard city, forget the mind and eliminate the mind as a life and death, use the place of thoughts as a mysterious female, combine it as a piece of contact, return to the root and return to life as a elixir, change the spirit as a change of cauldron, use the body outside the body as a birth, return to the original and return to the source as a vacuum, and break the void for the sake of the time."
"The world is ignorant, and he believes in the instigation of evil masters, and uses hardware and eight stones to make medicine to take it into golden elixirs. How foolish is it! I ask if the true nature is ripe in the great furnace, and it is ripe with fire, and it is as long as the heaven and earth, and it is as bright as the sun and the moon. How can it be achieved by all things with quality in the world?"
Boom-
It was like a thunderbolt, and Zhang Xuanqing made a long speech that made everyone present confused.
Especially when talking about the method of alchemy, it is like a burst of enlightenment, which makes everyone have a sense of enlightenment that "so that's it". But they think about it again, but it is like watching flowers in the fog and watching objects through the veil, and they cannot get the key points.
Although Zhang Xuanqing only replaced the alchemy tripods used by ordinary Taoist priests to refine alchemy with their bodies, and used their spirit, soul, mind, etc. as medicinal materials, somehow, after Zhang Xuanqing said this, everyone felt that his "internal refining" method was more than the "outer refining" method of ordinary Taoist priests, and more than mysterious.
It's mysterious!
Even if you hear of this method of alchemy for the first time, and it has not even been verified, you subconsciously think that this is right and that this is the real wonderful method of practice!
The feeling of no reason touched everyone's mind and involuntarily wanted to remember every word Zhang Xuanqing said just now. If there was a trace of omission, the heart would feel lost and a feeling of sadness would be inexplicably.
Master Ci'en's expression changed a little. Zhang Xuanqing's remarks were too advanced, which was something he had never heard of or seen. Even if he wanted to refute, he could not find a way to refute it for a while.
Suddenly, a disciple beside him snorted and shouted loudly: "Absurd! Absurd! I have never heard of any method of alchemy or the wonderful way to become an immortal. A nonsense! A nonsense!" His expression was full of madness.
Everyone glared at him, as if they were blaming him for disturbing them from silently remembering Zhang Xuanqing's words.
The disciple Yuruo didn't realize it, and he looked even more crazy. He shouted at Zhang Xuanqing: "You Taoist, first you destroyed the Buddha and slandered the Buddha, and then you talked nonsense, making up the method of practice, and got a demonic path!"
Liu Shenwei next to him finally couldn't help it, and took a step forward and cursed: "That bald donkey is so angry. Could it be that he is speechless to argue, and it will defame my uncle's reputation?" But he felt that it was not easy to say "my Taoist priest", and some of his masters became famous. Thinking that Zhang Xuanqing had a good relationship with his master, he simply gave himself the name of his nephew.
