Chapter 232 Triwizard Tournament
The last news shocked the students in the entire auditorium to the silence.
Until a voice shouted in disbelief.
"You are kidding! Professor!"
Fred asked the question everyone wanted to ask, someone chuckled, and the atmosphere in the auditorium eased a lot.
Dumbledore had an admiring smile on his face.
"I'm not kidding, Mr. Weasley. But just now I did hear a funny joke about a troll, a female yaksha and a leprechaun, and they all entered the same tavern..."
His joke was just beginning, and it was interrupted by Professor McGonagall's light cough.
"Well, it doesn't seem suitable to talk about this now." Dumbledore said helplessly, "We continue to talk about the triple tournament, a historic competition, organized by three European magic schools, Hogwarts, Busbaton and Demstrong. Each school will be selected by a fair referee to select a contestant and compete in three magic events, normally every five years."
"It's just that the deaths and injuries in the game were too serious. The Triple Championship was closed several centuries ago. The Ministry of Magic tried to restart the event many times, but it didn't work. This year, the Ministry felt that the time for a new attempt was ripe, so the Triple Championship will be restarted at Hogwarts this year."
"In October, some students from the other two schools will visit Hogwarts and stay for a while. I hope you can be enthusiastic and friendly enough by the time. By the way, in order to ensure safety, this restart of the Triple Championship will only allow students over the age of 17 to register, and other students who are not eligible will not be considered."
The semester's opening dinner ended like this.
But obviously, after hearing such heavy news, the little wizards would not be quiet so quickly.
They left the auditorium excitedly together, and were still talking about the Triumph Championship with their companions.
"It was because of too many casualties and injuries, so the operation was suspended. Why didn't you notice Professor Dumbledore's saying this?"
Unlike Harry and Ron who were discussing how to participate in the competition with great enthusiasm, Hermione kept repeating this sentence with a serious look on her face.
Ron said indifferently.
"Are you going to start over now? With so many professors here and Professor Dumbledore watching, there will definitely be no problem this year."
Harry complained silently.
"Fortunately, Professor Forrest said this."
The two of them shuddered when they heard this. They couldn't imagine what sherlock would be like if she said this year's Three Thousands Championships were like.
Meanwhile, the Weasley twins passed by them, and they heard the two brothers complaining about why Dumbledore had to set his age at over seventeen, and they were still several months away from being eligible.
But of course these two wizards didn't plan to give up just like that. They seemed to be discussing how to hide from the referee and increase their age by several months.
After Harry and the others returned to the Gryffindor lounge, the predecessor who took over Percy sent them the semester schedule. Hermione said happily as she stared at the new semester schedule.
"There will be arithmetic divination class tomorrow, and I guess I will be able to catch up with Sister Shilk's first class."
Harry and Ron could only look at her with envy.
The arithmetic divination class is an elective course, neither of them signed up. When Hermione took the arithmetic divination class, they had to take Trelawney's divination class.
Harry has been able to meet him, and tomorrow she will predict that she will be willing to give up the bad luck of a whole class.
The middle school students in the lounge were still talking about the Triumph Championship. Most of the students were not qualified to register, and they had no idea of getting away with the referee and giving themselves the bold idea of qualifying for registration. They were basically discussing who could represent Hogwarts and what the students of the two magic schools, Boothbaton and Demstrong, looked like.
"Bothbaton's principal is a witch as strong as Hagrid, named Mrs. Maxim, and I've seen her once." Harry whispered to Ron and Hermione.
Ron looked at him in surprise: "When did you see her?"
"You forgot, what I told you, Professor Forrest took me to France during the summer vacation of the second grade. We visited the Boothbaton Magic School. Their school was also built in the mountains, but not in the castle, but in the manor, the scenery inside was beautiful and there was a huge fountain."
Harry painted them, and Hermione's face showed a very envious look.
"Have you seen it at the library in Boothbaton? Is there any Hogwarts' collection of books?"
Harry shrugged.
"The professor and I were traveling. What are we doing in other people's school's library? But the onion soup in their cafeteria is very good, and I drank several bowls."
Hermione looked unwilling, and her expression seemed to have to emptie Boothbaton's school library if she had passed.
They chatted in the lounge for a while, and soon it was time for curfew. Harry and Ron and Hermione separated and returned to their dormitories.
The heavy rain outside the castle had not stopped. After a day of hard work, the students were exhausted. Soon, except for himself, everyone in Harry's dormitory heard calm breathing and Navigne's sudden snoring sounds.
It’s not that Harry couldn’t sleep. He was waiting for everyone else to sleep before he could carry out his own secret action.
He pulled down all the curtains on his bed, then sat up, and gently touched his forehead, the lightning-like scar that was very famous in the entire magic world.
An illusory figure, like a ghost, slowly emerged in front of him.
The beautiful witch with long burgundy hair sat in front of his bed.
As soon as Lily appeared, she found that the surrounding environment was no longer at Weasley's house.
"School starts today?"
She asked with a gentle smile at Harry.
After seeing her, Harry naturally relaxed, but he still complained.
"It was too heavy today. When we got off the carriage and returned to the castle, everyone was soaked."
