Chapter 233 Courage takes the lead!

Harry always remembered the warning Sherlock gave him, summoning Lily for only one hour a day to let her chat with her.

After being in the Dusley family for more than a month, even though Harry had been hiding it, Lily was an extremely smart witch herself. From the clues, she obviously discovered that Harry was not living well in her sister's house.

It can even be said to be very bad.

For this, she did not accuse her sister Penny of anything in front of Harry, but just apologized to Harry with a sad face.

She knew that the Penny family would vent their grudges against her and James on Harry, and the two families completely cut off contact before Harry was born.

Now the Dursley family is willing to take risks to accept Harry, which makes Lily unable to say anything to blame. She can only attribute the mistake to herself and James.

Harry was very relaxed in this regard. He had long been used to the attitude of the Dusleys towards him.

He also came over to comfort Lily and said, at least he is living a pretty good life now, right?

With two friends like Ron and Hermione, as well as elders who love him like Professor Forrest and Weasley, now even his mother can always be with him. Harry is not absolutely lucky enough to be himself, but is lucky enough.

Lily was very pleased that Harry had such an idea. In the past two months of spending with Harry, she had already figured it out. Although her son's living environment since childhood was very bad, he did not become a person who complained about the world and gave up on himself.

But at the same time, Lily did not relax her teachings to Harry.

While she saw her son's strengths, she also saw his flaws.

In the quiet Gryffindor lounge, Harry lowered his voice and was whispering to Lily about the re-convening of the Triple Championship this semester, and said with envy that it would be great if he was old enough, and he might have a high chance of being selected when he signed up.

"I never doubt your ability, Harry." Lily affirmed, and then her tone became a little serious, "but I still want to remind you that courage is a good moral character, but recklessness is not. When some things can be solved without taking risks, but they have to take that risk. This is the wisdom of Gryffindor lost."

"Your dad was like this at the beginning, so when he and I first met him, he didn't like him at all. He always liked to take meaningless adventures to show his courage, but that kind of behavior was not praised by people."

"Real courage is to stand up and face it directly when facing dangers that cannot be avoided, rather than retreating. This is the Gryffindor spirit."

There was no impatient look on Harry's face. He cherished every conversation between him and Lily, because the harder it came from, the more he understood the preciousness it was.

Lily said this, her face calmed down again. She smiled gently again, reached out to caress Harry's hair, and she felt illusory contact with Harry's black hair, but she touched nothing.

"Telling you this is not to make you consider retreating when you encounter difficulties. Courage is still the noblest character."

“I remember when I was in school, one year when we won the College Cup that semester, and when we celebrated with Professor McGonagall in Gryffindor, she asked us all a question.”

Harry asked with a blink of an eye.

“What’s the problem?”

"She asked us [know why the Gryffindor students are always the most outstanding and most eye-catching one in Hogwarts?]"

Harry said thinking.

“Because Gryffindor students are the most active?”

Lily's face was quiet, her eyes were filled with memorials and memories, and she spoke softly.

"Professor said [because everything is courageous!]"

......

Shilk's office is not very far from Sherlock's office.

Both of them were on the third floor, with two stairs separated by the middle.

Early in the morning of the first day of the formal class, Sherlock got up early, prepared everything needed for class, then changed his robe and put the things prepared in advance into his pocket.

After taking care of his whole body, he walked to Shilk's office.

Without knocking on the door, Sherlock just leaned against the door and waited quietly. He didn't let him wait for long. He was dressed neatly and had a black ribbon on his eyes and pushed the door out of the office.

While she went out, Sherlock naturally bowed and waved his hand and gave a gentlemanly salute.

"Ah, this beautiful lady, can I invite you to have breakfast together?"

The corners of Shilk's mouth subconsciously raised slightly, but soon she raised her face again, glanced at him with a blank expression, and walked over to the direction of the stairs.

Sherlock followed her with a smile, continuing to admit his mistake.

"It's been so long, and the anger should be gone. I know it's mine. I always treat you as a child, but this really won't be corrected in a short time."

"I've only had one night, but I didn't feel relieved."

"Then I'm in a good mood, there's still a little bit."

"Not a single one."

"Okay, I'm guilty, I apologize. Miss Vera is beautiful, generous and sensible. She doesn't need anyone like me who is one year younger than her to worry. In order to express her apology, I specially prepared to apologize."

Shilk stopped and saw what Sherlock took out of his pocket with a smile.

It was a small glass bottle like a pendant. The bottle was diamond-shaped and had some decorative patterns on it. The bottle was very beautiful. Through the transparent glass, you could see some light golden liquid flowing quietly inside.

Shilk naturally recognized what this thing was at a glance.

She looked up at Sherlock, and the expression on her face showed no sign of warming up, and her tone was still cold.

"You're still worried about me."

Sherlock did not deny it, he raised his eyebrows and said.

"It has nothing to do with me treating you as a child. Just like you said, friends are also worried about the safety of each other. I am the concern between friends, not the elders are worried about the younger generation."

Although Shilk could hear that he was changing his concepts and saying sweet words, even if he just listened, it made her mood turn from yin to sunny. However, there was no expression on her face, and she did not accept this bottle of Fuling agent, and she still said with a stern face.

"I don't need it, you keep it for yourself."

But Sherlock didn't give her the chance to refuse and directly hung her around her neck.

"This is Slughorn, the professor who was the best-affiliated professor of my mom, who gave it to me when I first came to Hogwarts, but it's been two years and I haven't had the chance to use it. If you don't need it, just treat it as a pendant, at least it looks much more beautiful than the lockets sold in Diagon Alley."
