Chapter 30 Teachers' Assemblies

Life as a professor at Hogwarts is very busy.

The seventh grade courses and after-school assignments take up almost all Sherlock's time, and he doesn't necessarily have to rest from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

At the same time, he must take some time every day to enrich himself with his own learning and try to achieve his original magic level as soon as possible.

After all, only by improving one's own strength is the most at ease in one's heart.

Saturday of the first week of school.

In the morning, Sherlock had no homework to be corrected, and he also escaped from the complicated magic knowledge and had a moment of leisure in his office.

Just when he was holding a well-known fable book in the magic world, "The Story of the Poetry Weng Bidou", which was borrowed from the library, he just saw the very educational story of "The Male Witch's Hair Heart (Note).".

A slight knock on the door suddenly sounded outside the office.

Sherlock closed the fable book, put it into the drawer of the desk, and then said.

"Please come in."

The person who pushed the door in was not the student who asked the question in Sherlock's guess, but Professor McGonagall, the dean of Gryffindor.

"Do you have time? Every Saturday, several of our teachers who are free will make an appointment to go to Hogsmeade for a drink."

Sherlock subconsciously wanted to refuse, but Professor McGonagall had not finished speaking.

"We are also with Slughorn today, and you have never met since your mother's funeral."

Sherlock was stunned when he heard the name Slughorn.

He is very unfamiliar with this name, but he also vaguely feels that this person has appeared in the original work.

Professor McGonagall saw Sherlock's expression and then explained.

"You may have forgotten him, but when Slughorn was Slytherin's former president of Slytherin at Hogwarts, your mother Sally was his favorite student."

"You were born, Sally and your father even planned to invite him to take you as a godson, and he was very happy, but later gave up for some other reasons. But Sally had a good relationship with him until Sally died and he attended her funeral, and you were only three years old."

"He then lived in seclusion, and no one knew where he lived. Not long ago, I heard that you came to Hogwarts to serve as a professor of the Dark Magic Defense class. Today he made a special trip to Hogsmeade to see you."

Professor McGonagall's expression was very serious.

"I think you should meet him Sherlock. He seems to have something important to you, and it has something to do with your parents."

Sherlock hesitated.

He didn't want to participate in this teacher gathering, not because he was afraid of being exposed or something. He had already understood this week at Hogwarts.

There are actually only three and a half professors in this castle who are familiar with Sherlock.

Needless to say, Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore, there is also a former dean of the student-time Dean, Professor Flevy, and the half is Snape.

The reason why Snape is half is because Sherlock didn't understand Snape's attitude towards him and what it was like.

According to the original work, Snape has always been eager for the position of professor of the Dark Magic Defense, so he is logically hostile to every professor of the Defense Defense.

But when Sherlock met him in the castle, he did not show such obvious disgust and hostility.

Instead... from his complicated gaze at him, Sherlock even read a little guilty!

That feeling was so strange. Sometimes Sherlock wondered if his brain was broken. How could he see guilt in the eyes of people like Snape.

Because I can't figure it out, Snape can only count half of it.

Even the three and a half professors who were familiar with him in the castle basically didn't know the original owner's true thoughts.

The original owner of the student days was like a vigilant hedgehog, protecting himself tightly with the thorns of indifference. No one knew what he was thinking except for his overwhelming admiration for Dumbledore.

So if something is exposed, unless Sherlock is trying to die by himself, there will be no problem.

He mainly had a rare rest for a long time today and didn't want to spend more energy and work hard on socializing.

However, after Professor McGonagall mentioned Slughorn and said that he wanted to see that he was related to the original owner's mother, Sherlock felt that he should go there.

The biggest secret of the original owner was that it came from his mother. Even if it was the inexplicable crescent-shaped birthmark on his left arm, Sherlock had a premonition that it was related to the crazy mother.

If he wants to find out these things, he must deal with these people.

So after having an idea in mind, Sherlock nodded to Professor McGonagall and said.

"I'll go there."

Hearing his agreement, Professor McGonagall showed a look of relief on his face.

"At 10 o'clock in the morning, at the three broom bars in Hogsmeade, I, Philius and Hagrid will be there, and we will meet."

After saying that, Professor McGonagall left the office. Sherlock looked at the time. It was already 9 o'clock in the morning, and there was only an hour left before the professors agreed.

He took out a few books of information he had borrowed from the Castle Library from the drawer and was about to use this hour to return the book.

Because Sherlock's exam-oriented education program for seniors this semester, the library was already full before the end of the semester.

Almost all students who came here to study were studying the opening test papers of the Black Magic Defense Class.

Because last year's defense class professor was Kilow, basically everyone's scores in the opening exam were not ideal, and Sherlock intends to give the test paper a little deeper.

This caused some depression among all senior students who took the exam.

Students who value grades are even more eager to study the test paper in the library, and they also need to understand all the questions above.

Seeing that Hogwarts' learning atmosphere has improved significantly, Sherlock was very pleased after returning the book.

He left Hogwarts Castle and wandered around the Black Lake before going to Hogsmeade. He heard that there was a giant squid in the lake, so he wanted to try his luck to see if he could meet it.

As a result, Sherlock came with pleasure, but the squid did not give him face.

Just as he was disappointed to leave Hogwarts and head for Hogsmeade, a sudden riot from the Quidditch Stadium caught his attention.
