Chapter 14 Free Kicks
Types of free kicks
Free kicks are divided into direct free kicks and indirect free kicks.
Whether it is a direct free kick or an indirect free kick, the ball must be placed in a fixed position when kicking the ball. The kicking player shall not touch the ball again before the ball is touched by other players.
Direct free kick
·If the free kick is directly kicked into the opponent's goal, it will be awarded as a score.
·If the free kick is directly kicked into the goal of the team, the opponent will be awarded a corner kick.
Indirect free kick
Signal
When the referee awards an indirect free kick, he should raise his head over his head with one arm and maintain this posture until the ball is touched by other players after it is kicked or becomes a dead ball.
The ball enters the door
You can only score when the ball touches another player before entering the goal.
·If the indirect free kick is directly kicked into the opponent's goal, it will be judged as the goal goal;
·If the indirect free kick is directly kicked into the goal of the team, the opponent will be awarded a corner kick.
Free kick position
Free kicks in the free throw area
Direct or indirect free kicks belonging to the defender:
·All opponents are at least 9.15 meters (10 yards) away from the ball;
·All opponents should stand outside the free throw area until the game is on;
·The game is played when the ball is kicked directly out of the free throw area;
·You can play a free kick at any point in the goal area.
Indirect free kick belonging to the attacking side
·All opponents are at least 9.15 meters (10 yards) away from the ball until the game is held, unless they are on the goal line between the goal posts of the team;
·The game is played when the ball is kicked and moved;
·When you play an indirect free kick in the opponent's goal area, you should execute it on the goal area line that is closest to the place where the foul occurred and parallel to the goal line.
Free kick outside the free throw area
·All opponents will be at least 9.15 meters (10 yards) away from the ball until the game is held;
·The game is played when the ball is kicked and moved;
·Kick a free kick at the location of the foul.
Violation/Punishment
When playing a free kick, the opponent's players are closer to the ball than the specified distance:
·Re-kick.
When the defender kicks a free kick in the free kick in the free kick area, the ball is not directly kicked out of the free kick area:
·Re-kick.
Free kicks are played by players other than goalkeepers
If the game is played, the kicker touches the ball again before the other players touch the ball (except with their hands):
·The opponent kicks an indirect free kick at the location of the foul.
If after the game is played, the kicker deliberately touches the ball with his hands before other players touch the ball:
·The opponent will kick a direct free kick at the location of the foul;
·If the foul occurs in the free throw area of the kicker, the penalty will be awarded.
Free kicks are played by the goalkeeper
If the goalkeeper touches the ball again before other players touch the ball after the game is played (except with hands):
·The opponent kicks an indirect free kick at the location of the foul.
If the goalkeeper deliberately touches the ball with his hands before other players touch the ball after the game:
·If the foul occurs outside the goalkeeper's free kick, the opponent will kick a direct free kick at the place where the foul occurs;
