Earth Dynasty Gods Chapter 2715 Asan is the true god
The purpose of A San sacrificing oneself to feed the tiger, cutting flesh and feeding the eagle is different from the purpose of chanting the Buddha's name now. If you practice chanting the Buddha's name now, you want to learn A San sacrificing oneself to feed the eagle and feeding the tiger, and it will not hurt until it is practiced. This is meaningless! These are two methods. Don't mix it up.
Asan sacrificed himself to feed the eagle and the tiger. Pay attention, it was Asan's predecessor, who sacrificed himself to feed the eagle and the tiger. However, God's instructions changed A San's thoughts. God's instructions just asked Asan: "If you feed them, can you become a Buddha?"
Manicha Buddha refused to answer, and he was ashamed. He knew that God's instructions were to remind him. Even if he fed them, he could not become a Buddha. He could only become a laughing stock of the world. However, he did not believe in the words of God's instructions, and gave himself to feed the eagle. He did not become a Buddha. Instead, he lived in the next life. After listening to God's instructions, he practiced well. He did not feed the eagle or the tiger again. This was also a topic of conversation. You should study it.
Asan sacrificed himself to feed the eagle and the tiger. He did not become a Buddha in that life. After receiving the guidance of God, he became a Buddha now. He did not feed the eagle or the tiger anymore. In this life, he did not feed the eagle or the tiger. He did not achieve success by feeding the eagle or the tiger, but by seeing the stars and enlightenment. You can refer to these topics.
In this life and the past life, they were also reincarnation for generations, but when they felt the terribleness of reincarnation, they wanted to find a method to liberation from the cycle of life and death, and looked for this method everywhere. Manicha Buddha sacrificed his body to feed the eagle, feeding the tiger, and becoming a Buddha in this way, but it also made people feel ridiculous. It was not that God ordered him to ask him, could his disciples learn to sacrifice himself and feed the eagle and feed the tiger. This is why Manicha Buddha said that God's command is the god of great wisdom in the universe. I am far from God's command, he is a real great god. In order to respect the Dharma, such as feeding the tiger and feeding the eagle, he realized that he was so sad and ridiculous.
After seeing these stories of A San, it is enough to have more faith in Buddhism. It is not just that our descendants are asking us to feed eagles or tigers. A San said this, saying that this Buddhism is not easy to gain. God’s instructing people to be extremely smart, and they are beyond ordinary people. We should cherish life. This is what God instructed to tell the world.
Now that you practice the method of chanting Buddha's name, this is what A San has suffered and suffered in life. Now that you have obtained it, you should practice it well, you no longer need to learn the ascetic practices of A San! A San is so hard and so tired in life, just to find such a method that is neither painful nor tired for us to achieve success in practice. If we have obtained it, we should be glad that we can practice well! So don't put these two methods together.
Of course, Ah San sacrifices himself to feed the tiger and cuts flesh and feeds the eagle. If you look carefully at this allusion, you will know that this is Ah San's compassion. In order to become a Buddha, Ah San also knows that just selfishness is not enough to be liberated by himself. He also has to lead all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm to be liberated and have this compassion. However, God's instructions still tell him that compassion is important, but the premise still needs to be the right method. Ah San's enlightenment is suddenly enlightened by God's instructions. He finally realized something and became more determined to become a Buddha. The true compassion is the driving force for Ah San to become a Buddha and the right cause for the true Buddha.
God's instructor also said that we must now lead all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm to be liberated and become Buddhas, and be free from suffering and gain happiness.
This kind of bodhicitta comes from, this is the seed of becoming a Buddha.
Then you ask: "When A San cuts his flesh and feeds the eagle, do you have to cultivate to the point where he doesn't hurt, or does his mind not move with the pain?" You go and read the Buddhist scriptures and explain it very clearly. Do you understand? Look at that paragraph, how did A San give up the tiger, how did he cut his flesh and feed the eagle, you will know if you look at that paragraph.
It was very clear at that time that when Ah San truly sacrificed his body to feed the tiger, he was also very uncomfortable. He was a prince at that time, the third prince of a country, and wanted to practice, but how to practice, I don’t know, there are not so many methods, and I don’t know that there are methods of chanting Buddha’s name, but I want to do some good deeds and want to be liberated. He made a vow: My body has reincarnated for generations and has not done any good deeds. I have only created karma and reincarnation, so I must do some good deeds in this life. According to this good deed, I will dedicate to God to instruct the way, and I will be able to be liberated in the future.
As a result, when I went out, I saw a tiger and gave birth to two little tiger cubs, but the tiger was too weak and had no food to eat, so I was almost starving to death. As San thought, there was finally a chance to do good deeds and a chance to exercise his bodhicitta. He had to feed his body to the tiger. At that time, the followers around him did not allow him, so he told everyone: I have reincarnated and died for life and death for generations. Thinking about this body, I have never done anything truly meaningful. I have finally encountered this opportunity now and can benefit sentient beings. Don’t hinder me.
However, when he wanted to give the tiger food, the tiger was scared when he saw the living person, so Ah San climbed up a tree, jumped down from it and fell to death, and asked the tiger to eat it. At that time, he was still an ordinary person, and he was like us, very painful. If it didn't hurt and was eaten by the tiger, then no one would have any difficulties, because it was very painful to do these things, but the Bodhisattva still couldn't give up. This intention is worthy of our praise!
However, Ah San was caught by God's instructions, who saved his life and scared the tiger away.
God instructed him: "Are you stupid? If you suffer, you become a Buddha, then those who die of illness, those who are tortured, and those who are bitten by wild dogs can become Buddhas."
After A San reacted, he found that his behavior was really stupid, so he bowed to God's instructions and went there.
Second, don’t think that after we practice well, we will not hurt you. If you cut you, we will not hurt you. If you cut you, will not hurt you. Isn’t it because of the nerve paralysis? It’s a disease! We have all misunderstood. We have never said that after a person’s practice is well, including Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, it will not hurt even if he cuts him. If Muni Shakyamuni becomes a Buddha, he will also hurt if he cuts him.
If a person is good at practicing, he will not hurt even if he cuts his legs. This is a mistake in understanding Buddhist practice. I have said many times that human pain is a merit that can protect your body from damage. If you cut your knife and you will not hurt if you fall from a very high place and break your legs, you may not hurt if you are not careful at that time, and your body will easily die.
So when he becomes a Buddha, he also feels pain, but Ah San has no worries. Troubles are caused by hatred, resentment, and retreating because of the pain. Pain is a kind of protection for people, similar to an alarm sounding: "Hey, you are too much, this harm to you has reached the point of harm.
Your body is about to get damaged!" So this pain is an alarm, an alarm, this is a good thing!
God's instructions did not agree. He asked Ah Sandao, why do you think that after practicing, you will not feel any pain? In fact, whether you are a human or a Buddha, it will hurt. If you don't feel any pain, it will be a stone, and it will be a dead object. Therefore, Buddhism has been practicing to the point where it is not moved, which means: My heart does not have any worries, it is not that I can't feel any pain!
If you don’t have troubles, I would rather sacrifice myself for sentient beings. No matter how painful I feel, I will not be angry, nor will I pity my body. As described in the Buddhist scriptures, before Ah San became a Buddha, he practiced the Bodhisattva path for many years. This kind of difficulty in doing things, difficulty in giving up can be given up, and it is also very painful. He can faint from the pain, but he does not feel regretful or hatred.
There is another sutra that I have also mentioned. Ah San was also a prince and a child for a lifetime. At that time, his kingdom was suddenly invaded by another country, but his parents were very good at studying Buddhism and were unwilling to fight, so they took him to join another country. As a result, they went the wrong way and there was not enough dry food, so they almost starved to death.
At that time, he said to his parents: "If we wait like this, all three of us will die, so it is better to die and save two!" In this way, all three of them thought that they would sacrifice themselves, and Ah San said: "No, you are my parents, you cannot give up, I must give up."
He said to his parents: "You cut some meat from my body every day, and we three eat it together. I endure the pain, so that at least we can live, otherwise we all will die." This way, cutting one piece every day, cutting one piece every day, Ah San felt so painful at that time, his whole body was trembling, and his mind was depressed, but he did not give up.
This is also interesting. We often say that only demons eat human flesh, but a family of three eats human flesh. Are they all devils? We don’t want to question Ah San’s idea, and we don’t want to say whether this is right or wrong. We can’t judge whether he is a human or a devil, and we can’t point fingers at other people’s teachings. It’s not that I don’t know whether this matter is right or wrong, nor that my belief is not enough, nor that my practice is not enough to understand whether this behavior should be done.
If we can accept such behavior, then do we acquiesce to eat human flesh, and do we agree with militarism? God's instructions can only say that Asan is only Asan in the end. No matter how he quips, he is only Asan and cannot become the god of our earth dynasty. Because our earth dynasty cannot agree that such things happens, no matter what purpose it is for eating human flesh, we cannot allow such things to happen. This is why Tao and Buddha vow to be incompatible. Earth dynasty people have their own worldview, values, and morals. We cannot agree with Asan's thoughts, so there is an opposition.
