This set of boxing is called introductory boxing. It consists of five basic steps practiced in the morning and five series of common movements.

Everyone squatted down into a right rest stance, turned their right palm into a fist and retracted it to their waist, punched out flat with their left fist, and looked ahead.

"Punch!"

Everyone's left fist changed into a palm, and it was covered horizontally. They stood up with their right legs upright and raised their left knees. At the same time, their right fist changed into a palm and penetrated from the waist to the upper right. They looked at the right palm.

"Punch!"

Everyone lowers their left foot to the left to form a left foot step, and thrusts their left palm downward and to the left.

"Punch!"

Everyone steps forward with their right foot to form a right false step, their left palm moves upward and backward to form a downward hook, their right palm is thrust forward and upward, with the palm pointing upward, and the right elbow is slightly bent.

Zhang Daocheng brought his left foot together with his right foot, turned his hands into fists and put them back to his waist, shook his head to the left, looked ahead to the left, and returned to the ready state.

"Concentrate your mind, adjust your breath, adjust your breath and focus your mind. These eight words are the starting point."

It turns out that these eight characters actually contain four levels of meaning, one is to concentrate, the second is to regulate the breath, the third is to further regulate the breath, and the fourth is to further concentrate.

In this extreme state of concentration and breath control, one will have forgetfulness of mind and breath.

Therefore, this practice must be done step by step in order.

"What I teach you today is the introductory Kungfu of our Sword Alliance, called the Qiankun Concentration Technique. When combined with the Heaven and Earth Wuji Style, it is the highest level Kungfu that our handyman disciples can learn, the Qiankun Wuji Sword!" Heng Chongyi

Hearing what Heng Chong said, everyone felt refreshed. Naturally, when they came to this Sword Alliance, they didn't want to be a handyman disciple for the rest of their lives.

Entering the outer sect and becoming an outer sect disciple is the first step in the development of the Sword Alliance.

The first level of this "Qiankun Concentration Technique" is called Concentration.

This technique of focusing one's mind without taking breath regulation as the first level is quite different from what Zhang Daocheng knew before.

However, Zhang Daocheng also knew that he was just guessing. This sword alliance was composed of all the major sects. It was naturally ten thousand times stronger than his own guessing, so he listened more seriously.

It turns out that breathing is a skeletal muscle movement between voluntary and involuntary.

Pranayama is a voluntary movement and is governed by the cerebral cortex.

The cerebral cortex can change the speed of breathing and the dynamic pattern of breathing, such as abdominal breathing, reverse abdominal breathing, apnea breathing, etc.

Only when the brain quiets down and the attention is transferred to the inside of the body can it be possible to effectively adjust the breathing movement. If you are upset and have distracting thoughts, you will not be able to control your breathing at all.

"The so-called concentration of the soul means that the spirit of breathing will naturally stabilize. You must remember that this concentration is our real first step."

Whenever Hengchong talks about spiritual practice, he always behaves like an elegant scholar, which is completely different from the violent look when he supervises people to train.

Hengchong asked everyone to clear their minds before concentrating.

That is to say, at the beginning of practicing, you should first sort out your complicated thoughts, settle the issues you are considering, hang up the things you are going to do, and clear away the disturbing emotions that are entangled in your heart. In short, you should work hard to solve everything.

Let go, this is called pure heart.

Then Hengchong asked everyone to close their eyes slightly and silently move their thoughts through the roots of the mountain to follow the path of the Ren channel and slowly fall into the Dantian.

This mountain root is between the eyes, where the hypothalamus is located.

The hypothalamus is the main hub of human endocrine system, and the Ren meridian pathway actually includes all functions of the autonomic nervous system, endocrine system and internal organs.

Now that the spirit has been condensed, the next step is to adjust the breath.

"It is not difficult to adjust the breath. Once the mind is calm, the breath will follow naturally. I just keep it natural and shine it under the divine light, which is how to adjust the breath."

Hengchong slowly guided everyone to adjust their breathing, which was different from the rough and roaring appearance during boxing practice in the afternoon.

Zhang Daocheng found that after concentrating, just like "sitting on a high mountain and looking at the mountains and waters, burning a sky lantern to illuminate the nine secluded places and nine unknowns", it is not so difficult to control breathing.

As soon as my mind calmed down, my breath became calmer.

Zhang Daocheng silently uses his thoughts to naturally enter the Dantian along the path of Ren channel with inhalation and exhalation.

Then after his mind naturally enters the Dantian with his breath, he changes to silently observing the natural rise and fall of the lower abdomen. That is, his mind focuses on the bulging lower abdomen with inhalation, and the concave lower abdomen with exhalation. This is the so-called Dantian breathing.

In order to establish the conditioned reflex relationship between thoughts, breath and Dantian.
