Chapter 22 Cutting the boss’s leeks

Another night when counting tips makes my hands cramp.

Bruce grabbed the small-denomination U.S. dollars in his hand and said, "I'm going to buy a new car."

Martin turned over the box and poured out the money, 1-dollar and 2-dollar bills, piled up like a hill.

While counting the coins, he said: "Shouldn't civilized people buy signed photos?"

"You still owe me a lot of autographed photos!" Bruce reminded him, and then asked: "How long can this kind of income last?"

After counting a stack of dollars, Martin tied it with a rubber band and said: "Tip income is unstable and depends on passenger flow."

Bruce asked: "Can you maintain strong customer traffic for a long time?"

Martin deliberately changed his words: "Hey, man, do you think of me as God?"

Bruce said: "God is a black man, are you sure you want to be God?"

"Forget it, I'd rather suffer in this world." Martin put away the three bundles of money, put them into his bag, and arranged his gun bag so that he could draw his gun at any time.

Bruce also put on his coat and went home together.

When Martin got in the car, he shouted to Bruce: "Don't forget the party tomorrow afternoon."

Bruce waved his hand, started the car and left.

The Ford stopped in place, and Martin sat in the car, throwing a piece of gum into his mouth, chewing and thinking.

Regarding Bruce's problem, he actually has some considerations.

But as soon as the passenger flow increased, boss Vincent was filled with a sense of satisfaction and was no longer as eager as before. Even if Martin proposed it, there wouldn't be much return.

You need to wait, you have to pay attention to the method when cutting the boss's leeks.

Early the next morning, Martin went to the Marietta Theater Company to show his presence in front of the leader Jerome, and asked Jerome, who boasted of his superb acting skills, a few performance issues to make the leader feel more confident.

The satisfaction of coaching newbies,

Of course that's not the point.

"Captain, I can solve basic life problems." Martin wants the creditor to remember that this bastard still owes you money and has not paid it back! He proactively promised: "I will pay back the arrears of dues as soon as possible."

Jerome had a friend who lent him $200 more than a year ago and never mentioned repaying the money. He was very satisfied with Martin's attitude and said: "Keep your cell phone open next week. I contacted another drama, also belonging to Grey."

Company."

Martin said: "You can call me anytime."

When he came out, Martin asked for the copy of Entertainment Weekly that Jerome had read.

Give it back to Bruce.

Martin went to the supermarket to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables to prepare for the afternoon party.

The four Carter brothers and sisters came to help.

The barbecue grill was set up, cheap beer, whiskey and rum were placed on the table. Elena made a large bowl of vegetable salad. Lily and Hall simply leveled the land in the backyard. Harris hung one arm and played with it.

Listening to Martin’s rented speakers, preparing to be a DJ.

Martin specially marked a place: "This is a dance floor, let's dance together when the time comes."

Elena said: "I asked, if the neighbors go out to work during the day, they will not attract APD."

Because Martin was going to the Beast House in the evening, the party started at 2:30 p.m., and Monica brought a dozen young girls over, all of whom were poor girls from nearby communities.

Several people who had been tutored by Harris as a tutor also came

There were quite a few of them, and they were noisy.

When the two of them followed Hall to other places, Martin asked: "How did you invite me?"

"Customers." Harris said: "When they are happy, they will continue to let me be a tutor and introduce me to new students who need tutoring. I charge by the hour and can earn a lot of money."

Martin nodded: "Earn money without being shabby."

Bruce, Ivan, Golden Retriever, Hart and others arrived at this time, and Martin went over to greet them. Unlike the girls, they all brought more or less gifts.

Seeing the crowd in the backyard, Ivan didn't bother to say anything to Martin, strode into it, and started dancing wildly.

Before Bruce could speak, he was pulled away by the plump Monica.

Martin turned on the stereo, and as the music played, cups of beer, whiskey and rum were served to everyone.

Alcohol stirs up emotions, and handsome guys and hot girls dance hotly.

There are so many people and their footsteps are chaotic. The ground seems to be shaking, and the soil in the backyard has been stepped on even harder.

A simple party can also be exciting.

Martin drank a few glasses of wine, danced among the crowd, and returned to work as a cook behind the grill.

I have had outdoor self-service barbecues before, and simple barbecue is not a problem.

Elena played for a while and took the initiative to come over to help.

After the first batch was baked, Harris pulled Hall over and brought some to give to Harris' students.

There are many people and few grills, so the barbecue speed will inevitably be slow.

Hart shouted: "Boss Martin, you are too slow and don't have enough food."

Martin pointed to the long table in the yard: "You can drink beer as long as you want."

Elena came over and said: "You overestimated the speed of your barbecue, there is not enough food."

Martin said: "Call Rosario Grill and ask them to send some food over as soon as possible."

Elena nodded and picked up the phone to make a call.

Bruce got rid of Monica's entanglement and ran over to barbecue with Martin: "You are good at barbecue. At least you can make people eat it. I thought you would become poison when roasted."

Martin flipped the meat skewers: "Old Bu, let me tell you the truth, I am the most versatile person in Atlanta."

"Yes, you are the best braggart." Bruce always mocked: "Don't mention Atlanta, there are people in the whole state who can brag better than you."

Martin added some charcoal to the oven: "I'm also good at grilling civilized people."

After Elena made the call, she came over and said, "Shall I try a cocktail?"

Martin agreed: "Okay, just let them taste it."

With so many people, it would be a pity not to use them as guinea pigs.

Elena called Monica, and the two of them went next door together and brought a variety of base wines, ice cubes and raw materials.

The oven was temporarily left to Bruce, while Martin helped Elena prepare the raw materials. Elena shouted a few times and started experimenting with cocktails, making several common cocktails.

Perhaps Elena has been "influenced" by alcohol from the Carters since she was a child, and Elena has a good talent in this area.

Of course, the wine made by beginners will inevitably taste strange.

Everyone at the party has become a guinea pig.

But no one cares, as long as it’s high enough.

During this period, some men and women said goodbye and left, such as Monica dragging Bruce away.

Adult men and women, commonplace.

Near six o'clock in the evening, the party broke up, many people drank too much, and the backyard was a mess.

Martin took Elena to the club: "I'll take you out to play." He pointed to the backyard and said to the two minors and the disabled: "Idiots, clean up, I'll come back, there's still damn garbage here, I
