Chapter 81 Invalid Magic

Martin looked down at Vincent, waiting for a reply. At this time, Vincent was looking straight ahead, thinking, and taking a sip of wine from time to time. Martin didn't know what Vincent was thinking about.

"Vinson, what are you thinking about?" Martin said, interrupting Vincent's thoughts.

Vincent came back to his senses and said: "Well...I was thinking about Sibylla, oh, no, it is no longer Sibylla, its real name is Kali."

"Carly?" Martin asked softly.

Vincent nodded and said, "Yes, her name is Carly. She is the witch's pet, not Paulina's pet."

Martin suddenly thought of something: "No wonder it is hostile to me."

"You know Carly?" Vincent asked.

"No, no, no, this is the first time I heard this name." Martin tried his best to prevent Vincent from seeing what he was hiding, and pretended to be calm and said, "My ex-girlfriend's name is also Carly."

"Is it such a coincidence? Your ex-girlfriend is a cat?" Vincent asked in surprise.

Martin replied: "No, Carly is a pretty girl."

"I don't think so." Vincent said, "She is just a cat, and a male cat."

"You slept with her for three years, Martin." Vincent continued.

Vincent's words brought Martin into the scene three years ago. When he met Carly for the first time, his skin was covered with white and black hairs, and there were a few thin hairs floating at both ends of his nose.

Long beard.

In particular, Carly's eyes sometimes became round and sometimes stood upright. Carly's extremely weird appearance was deeply imprinted in Martin's mind.

At first, Martin and Carly fell in love at first sight. What happened next, Martin could not imagine, that kind of scene actually appeared. He was lying on the bed, next to the pillow was Carly, and he clearly saw that Carly was a male.

"Damn it! Damn it!" Martin yelled.

"It's all your fault! Vincent." Martin shook his head vigorously and said, "You must have made a mistake. Carly is a woman. I have verified it."

"However, your words can actually make me fall in. I feel like you have magic." Martin put the wine bottle and glass on the windowsill and said.

"What?" Vincent immediately stood up, raised his hands, took a look and said, "Impossible, why didn't I notice it at all?"

"You can try." Martin came to Vincent and said.

Martin really wanted to see how powerful the exorcism technique taught to Vincent by Father Cavendish was.

Before Vincent was about to make a mark, Martin slipped away very far. He ran to the door of the room and watched quietly.

Since Vincent is a beginner, Martin is worried that Vincent may accidentally injure himself when performing magic.

"Hey, why are you running so far?" Vincent turned his head and looked at Martin and said, "I haven't recited the spell yet."

"Ah, I have never seen magic. I want to see its charm from a distance." Martin said with a smile.

"Okay, I'm going to prepare the spell, but you have to be careful, Martin."

Vincent quickly made seemingly messy marks and kept muttering in his mouth. He only said half of the spell, and he forgot the second half.

Vincent scratched his head and said, "Let me think about it."

Martin didn't know why Vincent was standing there in a daze, as if he was silently reciting a spell and magic was about to burst out of Vincent's body.

Vincent remembered the spell and continued to repeat the action, but unexpectedly, there was almost no movement around him.

Vincent was stunned for a moment, then sighed and said, "I still haven't learned it yet."

"You need to concentrate, Vincent," Martin yelled.

Vincent tried extremely hard, and the spell was already memorized in his mind, but the magic still failed to appear.
