1 - Wayne Greenberg

In early October 1990, Professor Anderson Horowitz, a majoring in film and video at the University of Southern California, was reminding students who were about to graduate to pay attention to their graduation works.

"Listen, if you haven't finished enough credits, I hope you can complete the credits as soon as possible and start to conceive your graduation work as soon as possible. There is less than a school year left. With my experience, if you do well, it will be a rare 'job resume'. Wayne, Mr. Wayne Greenberg!"

"Sorry, Teacher Anderson, I didn't have a good rest last night and thought about a plan for my overnight graduation project."

Wayne, who was tracing his head, looked at the teacher, and explained sincerely.

"Ha, look, our Mr. Batman, maybe he went to save the world last night, maybe he came back before dawn."

Wayne's expression remained unchanged when he heard the laughter. He looked back at the big guy who was talking and continued to listen to Professor Anderson's reminder.

"If any classmate needs help, you can bring your script or plan and come to the office to find me. That's it, the get out of class will be over, guys."

After hearing the professor say this, Wayne rubbed his forehead hard, packed his backpack and prepared to go back to the apartment. He did think of the script for a night last night, and even made choices in his mind during class.

As he was carrying his bag and preparing to go out, the big guy who had just mocked Wayne, hugging a blonde beauty and blocking the door.

"Mr. Superhero, I heard from Katie that you want to make a feature film as a graduation work, Buy! I hope you can raise funds for the movie. Maybe I can give you some advice and tell you how much it costs to make a movie! Haha."

Wayne looked at him lightly, and after he finished speaking with the look of looking at the clown, he said to him in a calm tone:

"Yes, of course I can raise funds. Do I need me to help you get some? Anyway, yours is relatively short, of course, I mean not only movies. Everyone knows that you always like to pick up the rest of me."

He said as he looked at the blonde beauty and shook his head.

"Sorry, Katie, I'm not just talking about you, I'm talking about football and cheerleading."

Hearing Wayne's words, the big guy's eyes immediately turned red, he clenched his fists and walked forward for two steps, remembering something, and stood there.

"Listen, Mr. Batman, my father has prepared the filming funds for me long ago, and Katie will appear in my graduation project as the heroine.

I will tell you where we will be different. After graduation, I will appear on the crew smoothly and start an internship as an assistant director, but you will continue to work odd jobs in the small crew until you give up on yourself.”

Wayne became more and more excited as he watched him speak, pushing him away and walking out, not wanting to waste time on him, just to argue about how important it is to have a good father.

He always felt that time was tight and not enough. It has been 20 years since he came to this era. He has been working hard every minute, absorbing all the knowledge about filmmaking.

Thanks to the rebirth benefit that may be given by God, a smart mind that never forgets his eyes. He also has the learning habits of Chinese people in his previous life. He was a human being for two lives and studied everything in the plan at a terrifying speed.

Born in 1970, he started elementary school at the age of five and started to do a good job in his study plan, self-disciplined and firm implementation. At the age of seventeen, he was admitted to the University of Southern California, the No. 1 School of Film Arts in the United States, and he had enough credits in his junior year.

He has prepared a 20-year plan and is about to start the first step, filming a feature film of his own. Last night's insomnia was also caused by this, and he fell into a difficult choice. The script he had prepared was beginning to make him hesitate as he approached.

When he arrived at the parking lot, Wayne drove a black F150 pickup truck and prepared to go back to the apartment he rented. This car was a college gift from his father. Old Greenberg thought that men should drive such a big guy.

The apartment he rented is not far from the school, a five-minute drive away, which makes it convenient for him to attend classes. Even if he has enough credits in his junior year, he is willing to go to other departments to listen. He is trying his best to understand what is related to film and television production.

Parking the car downstairs, he took out the key and opened the door on the left of the fourth floor. He was about to finalize the plan and write the script as soon as possible. Just as the door was about to close the door, the door opposite opened from the inside, and a tall blonde beauty in pajamas and carrying a large bag of garbage came out.

"Hey, come back so early, won't you go to class?"

Wayne saw the beauty greeting, stopped the door to close, and looked at her carefully.

"Yes, I'm about to graduate, I still have something to do, thank you."

He has been withdrawn since childhood, not sociable, and does not like to deal with others. The reason for all this is that he has too many secrets hidden in his heart. At first, he is always afraid of saying something shocking, but when he is silent, he gradually becomes a habit.

As an adult who lived in his thirties in his previous life, he has had no common language with his peers since he was a child and understands the truth that too much will lead to mistakes. Just like the beauty who just said hello, if he saw it in his previous life, he would be so excited that he would go to sign an autograph and take a photo.

Single apartments are not large in size. There is a bathroom on the left side of the entrance. There is a small balcony in front of it. The living room and bedroom are only more than 50 square meters in total. These apartments are usually rented to nearby students. There are also a small number of people who come to Hollywood to pursue their dreams, which are mainly relatively cheap.

Lying on the sofa, Wayne was fascinated by watching the various videos on the coffee table. In his freshman year, he was successfully selected for the football team. After two training sessions, he was selected as the main quarterback.

The coach looked at him as if he found a piece of gold, a strong and flexible body, a tough personality, excellent athletic ability, and most importantly, his brain that can remember a whole tactical manual.

Unfortunately, he was not determined to be here. He played quarterback for five years in his freshman year. After trying this stimulating sports, he gave up in his sophomore year. The quarterback who succeeded him was also his substitute, the big guy who was provocative today, Adam Goodman.

The players and the coach always felt that he was too much inferior to Wayne, but Adam hated Wayne because of this. The two of them were inconsistent since their sophomore year. Finally, they fought under the witness of the rugby players. Wayne's boxing left an extremely deep impression on him.

Provocations like today lasted for three years, but the ending was always the same. Wayne, who was usually taciturn, made Adam furious and dared not take action.

Katie is a cheerleader, and has had a relationship with Wayne, or almost all cheerleader girls, and has had a relationship with Wayne. Wayne likes her good figure, and she is proud to sleep with school celebrities.

There are girls like this in every school. As long as they satisfy their vanity, they can take them wherever they go. Wayne's high school career in grades 9 to 12 and his current college career are full of their figures, and they can help Wayne learn to relax his tight mind.

"Gulu" his stomach was protesting. He glanced at his watch and it was already past lunch time. He got up and opened the refrigerator, took out two sandwiches made in the morning, and went to the balcony to sit in front of the typewriter.

Looking at the pedestrians outside the window swallowing the sandwich a few times, Wayne typified the name of his graduation work, Happy Death Day, Happy Day.

‘Telly, who was brutally killed on her birthday, woke up and was still alive. She thought it was just a nightmare on the eve of her birthday, but she knew that her experience after waking up was exactly the same as a dream. She was brutally killed on her birthday and then woke up again.

Is it a gift from heaven or a joke from death? She was killed infinitely and returned to her birthday morning infinitely. After waking up, she died again, and after waking up, the only thing she could do was find out the mysterious murderer who killed herself, otherwise she would be trapped in the infinite cycle of birthday and death taboo forever.’

This is the first movie he planned. It has a relatively small production cost and is not a new time cycle. The old love and family affection are not a good idea. Innovation always means unpredictable risks.

These Hollywood uses bad routines to form this black horror comedy with a delicate structure. The main reason for choosing this film is that it has clear selling points, low cost, requires few main actors, and low acting requirements, so it is better to be basically qualified.

Moreover, acting is influenced by the emotions of the chief officer. Unless there are too many differences, it is really difficult to judge.

This film has successfully proved itself in its previous life, and it is not the way to rely on distribution companies to take advantage of tricks. For Wayne, it is how to shoot it in a complete way. He knows that the same story, different directors' effects are completely different.

For a full week, Wayne was working frantically. When he was hungry, he called the hamburger and pizza, and when he was sleepy, he returned to the bedroom and fell asleep. Sometimes he had to consider the actual shooting issues and go back to make a new modification.

I don’t know how many times he modified it, but he looked at the script in front of him and nodded with satisfaction. This was the most suitable version he wrote based on the pictures in his mind, combined with shooting and other issues.

Putting the script aside, he began to write a long-planned project plan. Although he knew that there would never be a company investing in him as a novice, and the film must be produced independently by himself, he still tried to do everything in front.

This week he almost never left the apartment, and he relied on burgers and pizza sandwiches for every meal. When he woke up the next day, he could smell the bad smell on himself.

Shaking his head and walking into the bathroom, Wayne washed himself hard, picked up his razor and looked at the tired young man in the mirror.

He is about 1.85 meters tall, weighs about 80 kilograms, and has smooth and strong muscles, a round flax-colored buzz cut, and a tough face. The characteristics of Jewish people are almost invisible, and the aura of a tough guy comes to his face.

The most fortunate thing in this life is his appearance. This is his taciturn support for girls. The girls here like not just a silly little puppy, but a typical strong and tough guy like him.

After cleaning up himself, putting on a clean suit, Wayne took the script and drove directly to Professor Anderson's office at the school.

"Dang, do."

Wayne knocked politely twice before pushing the door in. Professor Anderson was reading the script and pointed to the sofa opposite. This was not the first time Wayne came. He skillfully took a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa waiting for the professor.

The script was not long, two pages. After more than ten minutes, Anderson put down the script in his hand, picked up the cup and took a sip of cold coffee, and sat next to Wayne.

"I haven't seen you this week. It's a big surprise. Have you returned to the farm to visit your parents?"

Professor Anderson greeted him in a familiar way. He is also Jewish. The professor took great care of him since he entered school. Anderson was very optimistic about this smart and hard-working child.

He shook his head first and said:

"I haven't gone back. I stayed in the apartment for a week and hardly went out. I've been planning for graduation videos. Teacher, you know, how much I have prepared for this day."

Anderson looked at him seriously. The child's self-discipline in learning once surprised him, and made him willing to help him as much as possible.

"Of course I know, that's it?"

Anderson pointed to the file bag on the coffee table.
