[Chinese Dreadnought] Battleship Xihe(1/2)

At the end of 1901, at the end of the Battle of Midway, the Imperial Qin Navy achieved world-renowned glorious results with its speed and firepower, and once directly attacked the influence of the Royal Navy. In order to defend the naval honor of the British Empire, the British Navy shipyard built and launched the first new concept battleship, the USS Fearless, in a short time with its powerful shipbuilding capabilities.

The launch of the Fearless was a fatal impact for the world's navies, attracting the attention of navies from various countries to Britain again.

After comparing all factors, the Emperor Qin Navy decided to follow the pace of the British Navy and now board the shuttle bus for the third revolution of the world navy.

Since the cost of the dreadnought warships is a huge challenge to the naval industrial capabilities, the Imperial Qin Navy did not need to join this naval arms race, but it could not lag behind the pace of the world's naval forces. Therefore, the Imperial Qin Navy Department decided to build its own dreadnought.

Considering the cost and the "expiration" problem brought about by the world naval arms race, the Emperor Qin Navy decided to build China's dreadnought only for technical accumulation and the deterrence of the Emperor Qin Navy. At the same time, it strictly implemented the instigation of powerful countries such as Britain, Germany, and the United States to engage in a naval arms race with the purpose of dragging down their finances and economy.

The Xihe ship is the Sun in Chinese mythology. The Xihe-class battleship, a Western code-named Sun God-class first-class battleship, was constructed by the Emperor Qin Royal Naval Shipyard. A total of this class ships were built, named Xihe.
