When Kōkai was present, this directory was reigned by the "Emperor Heikawa" (i.e. Takaga's father), so Emperor Saga had never seen this directory with his own eyes, but had only heard of it.

At that time, the "Emperor Heikawa" was also shocked that Kōkai had obtained the inheritance of secret Dharma as a private student, and invited back the priceless classics and treasures...

So the "Io Invitation Directory" was confirmed to Hieiyama's "Sui Cheng".

After obtaining the confirmation of "Sicheng", Kōkai received pardon and was arranged to stay in Kaohsiung Mountain for a temporary stay.

Kūkai briefly explained the history and inheritance of Tantric Buddhism to Emperor Saga.

Emperor Saga recalled the past and afterwards and felt very much: "Kami is the only savior who can save Masako and the Emperor's bloodline."

There is no other way, Kukai is the only hope for Emperor Saga...

Whether you are willing or not, recognizing the legal status of secret law and recognizing the inheritance of Kūkai is the only hope of saving Masako.

This is not a lifetime. Therefore, you traveled a long journey to accept my deep Dharma. After teaching the treasures, my wish was fulfilled. You come to the west to take my footprints (the Dharma lineage), and I was also born in the East (Japan) for your disciples. Don't stay in the Tang Kingdom anymore, I will go first before you go back."
