Chapter 125 Tom Riddles Diary

Professor Lockhart is back.

Soon, all the teachers and students in the school knew about this... Well, there was no number 20 in the school, including the professors, students, and the few people lying in the school hospital.

But even though there were only a few people, Lockhart seemed to be facing two hundred or two thousand fans. He boasted and described to everyone the bizarre stories that happened during his disappearance:

How to be rescued by the mermaid princess, how to fight the water monster, save the mermaid tribe on the verge of extinction, and finally how to reject the mermaid princess's hard proposal and forget her in the world.

"I told the mermaid princess that I have to return to Hogwarts. I still have a group of lovely students waiting for me to teach the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. They are still in danger. They...

need me!"

When Lockhart spoke, there were some tears in his eyes, his voice was slightly trembling, his breath was as thin as a thread, and beads of sweat were mottled on his forehead...

His performance is quite outstanding. I can only say that he has not suffered in vain in the past two months. He has really worked hard to polish the story and acting skills... He has never forgotten his original intention.

Others were fine, but Snape seemed to be disgusted, and his sallow face became even more ugly.

He didn't expect Lockhart to come back so soon, and he felt a little regretful. If he had known it... he would have left Lockhart among the centaurs in the Forbidden Forest!

With the temperament of a horse man, he would probably be whipped with a small whip and asked to pull the millstone every day.

Professor Lockhart had dinner in the auditorium. There were no aquatic animals at all. In his words, he ate river fresh food at the bottom of the Black Lake every day. The purine was too high and he suffered from gout.

Lockhart was so emaciated that Madam Pomfrey even suggested that he be hospitalized, but she was refused.

After dinner, Lockhart called Rove to his office and handed him a vault key... as hush money.

Although Lockhart's reputation at Hogwarts has plummeted and he has been classified as a liar, in the eyes of the public, he is a recipient of the Order of Merlin and a best-selling author.

The future is bright and the future is wonderful!

He married a mermaid, had a relationship, and got pregnant. Even though it was not his child, even though he was forced to... But it was a ground-breaking scandal that was enough to damage his smooth career and a group of die-hard female fans.

As long as Rove finds a way to get the photos and then breaks the news to the Daily Prophet, he can easily sell them for hundreds or thousands of Galleons.

Of course, from Lockhart's point of view, this hush money was only temporarily deposited with Rolf...after he bought a new wand, he would come back to erase his memory and get the key back.

After Lockhart saw the boy walking away, he opened the door and returned to his office. After two months of absence, the room was still very clean.

Lockhart sat in his chair and called, "Sasia."

A house elf appeared. She bowed to Lockhart and said humbly: "Master."

It's true that Lockhart never summoned Shasia when he was in the Black Lake, but that was the bottom of the lake, and Shasia couldn't stay there for long since she didn't have the magic to avoid water.

The mermaid is following him around the clock and cannot be saved even if he wants to.

But Lockhart didn't want to question this matter. He said in a quick voice:

"Go and buy me a train ticket to Paris tonight right away!"

Since Dumbledore was not in Hogwarts, nothing could restrict Lockhart from escaping... If he stayed any longer, he really felt like he would die.

In short, he will appear in Paris tomorrow morning, enjoying the sunshine and music in a coffee shop on the Left Bank of the Seine.

After the house elf left, Lockhart quickly stood up, packed up his valuable belongings, and then randomly stacked them in a suitcase.

As for clothes and books, he didn't want any of them.

When Lockhart was going through the cabinet, he accidentally discovered an old newspaper silhouette from last year, with his photo on it and the title:

"The famous wizard Lockhart will return to Hogwarts as Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, breathing new life into this declining ancient institution"

It really breathed life into it, and Lockhart himself almost lost half of his life!

He pinched the newspaper and suddenly squatted on the ground and cried loudly... Why did he come to Hogwarts? Why?!

After he finished crying, Lockhart slapped his face like crazy again, but after only three slaps, he felt the pain again, so he immediately stopped and started rubbing it gently.

As long as he leaves Hogwarts tonight, he will become a good person in the future.

Lockhart warned himself thus.

The corridor is empty,

There is a medieval tapestry on the wall, which depicts a troll beating Barnabas the fool. Opposite the tapestry, there is a smooth wall.

On that wall, a smooth door suddenly appeared, and a young figure pushed the door open and walked out.

After the young wizard left the corridor, the door still did not disappear, and another figure slowly appeared in the air.

An invisible beast put her arm on the handle to prevent the door from disappearing. She was also wearing Rolf's robe...it was a piece of clothing that could completely hide her breath.

The invisible beast Uduka quietly opened the door and took out a piece of magic paper and a small bottle of ink from his pocket.

Following the method taught by the young man, Uduka poured all the ink on the magic paper.

Rolf walked slowly towards the Hufflepuff lounge. He suddenly felt something. He stopped and took out a piece of magic paper from his pocket.

This magic paper was a Christmas gift given to him by Dumbledore a few months ago. There are two in total. One person writes on the paper, and the other person holding the paper can also see the content immediately.

Rolf gave one to the Invisible Beast and kept one for himself so that he could remind Tom from a distance when he left the Room of Requirement.

When Luofu opened the magic paper, he saw a lot of ink stains. The boy immediately turned around and walked towards the eighth floor.

After dinner, Harry and Ron returned to the Gryffindor lounge.

"Harry, do you think what Lockhart said tonight is true?" Ron suddenly asked: "His adventure with the Mermaid Princess?"

"I'm sure they're all fake. He's just a liar." Harry smiled: "Did you see Snape's expression? It looks like he wants to eat him."

"That's because Lockhart is back, and Snape can no longer teach Defense Against the Dark Arts." Ron pushed open the door to the dormitory, curled his lips and complained:

"I would rather Snape continue to take classes and follow Lockhart. In this year, I have only learned not to let the elf out."

"It's okay, he can only teach for two months at most." Harry comforted.

The two walked into the dormitory chatting and laughing. Harry was lying on the bed when he suddenly felt a hard object hit his head.

He reached out and touched it and found a black diary.

"Ron, is this yours?" Harry asked, holding up the diary.

"It's not mine." Ron glanced up and shook his head: "Could it be Seamus or Dean's?"

"How is that possible? Dean has been lying in the school hospital for several weeks, and Seamus has been home for many days on vacation."

When Harry checked the diary, he found that the cover had faded, but there was still a date indicating that it was from fifty years ago.

"Harry, you'd better be careful with strange things, there's danger." Ron warned.

"Danger?" Harry laughed and said, "What are you talking about? This is just a diary, how can it be dangerous?"

"Really, my dad has told us since we were young not to touch unfamiliar books casually." Ron said softly:

"He also told us that one of the books confiscated by the Ministry of Magic in the past would burn your eyes out; anyone who has read the book "The Wizard's Sonnets" will only be able to speak in five-line limericks for the rest of his life...

"

But Harry had already opened the diary, and on the first page, he could only make out a name written in illegible ink:

Tom Riddle.

"Tom Riddle?" Harry read it softly.

"What a familiar name." Ron thought for a moment and said, "I remembered that he won the Special Contribution Award to the school fifty years ago."

"How did you know?" Harry asked in surprise.

"At the beginning of school, we drove the Flying Car together, and I was punished to clean the prize display room." Ron explained: "Tom's medal was right next to Rove's medal. I wiped it many times."

"Oh, but there's not a word written on it." Harry flipped through the diary and said, "Let Professor McGonagall take a look at it tomorrow."

Harry casually threw the diary at the foot of the bed. After washing, he lay down on the bed to sleep. He quickly turned off the light and fell asleep.

After an unknown amount of time, a figure emerged from the diary. He stood beside the bed, leaned over and took away Harry's wand, and waved it at Harry.

After a while, Harry stood up in a daze. He took his diary and walked out of the dormitory as if he was sleepwalking.
