702 Unlucky wounded man

In Lijia Village, a shell fell next to a collapsed house, raising mud into the sky. The air was filled with dampness and coldness, but the rain had stopped, and the sky was so dark with dark clouds that there was not much sunlight visible.

In his slightly cloudy vision, the soldiers of the Dahua Army were climbing over one bomb crater after another, launching another attack on the ruins of Lijia Village.

Soon, the unique sound of the sniper's G43 rifle rang out, and the crisp sound of gunfire echoed in the sky, proving that the battle was not over yet.

On the contrary, this battle has just begun! With the sound of gunshots, the soldiers of the Dahua Army roared again, shouted the slogan "Long Live His Majesty the Emperor," and rushed forward with bayonets in hand.

Their tactics are still very primitive, but they have been improved a lot. They no longer maintain their formation, but immediately crawl forward wherever they are hit to avoid incoming bullets.

Although the casualties were still very heavy, at least these Dahua soldiers used their brains and came up with some solutions.

"Boom, boom, boom!" The Maxim heavy machine gun in the rear responsible for covering the infantry attack opened fire. The bullets hit the broken fence, the broken low wall, and the collapsed roof.

"Bang!" Another shot rang out from nowhere. The Dahua shooter who was controlling the Maxim machine gun fell on his back. Soon another person came on the bench and continued to control the machine gun and fire continuously.

They obviously hadn't discovered the sniper's position yet, and just opened fire aimlessly. Amidst the hail of bullets, the attacking Dahua soldiers were still moving forward.

In the muddy crater, Dahua soldiers shouted slogans, and seven or eight people worked together to push a Maxim heavy machine gun with a shield and wheels to the designated position.

The corpses of Dahua soldiers were piled under their feet, and their boots stepped on these corpses that had been soaked in the mud and water at the bottom of the pit. Countless Dahua soldiers continued to carry out the attack orders given by their superiors.

A Dahua Empire tank ran through the mud, passed over the dark wreckage of a tank, and knocked down an already dilapidated fence.

When it was about to move forward, its track hit a mine, and a huge explosion shot into the sky, tearing off the tank's track and killing everyone inside.

A large number of Dahua Empire soldiers fell down around them, and when they got up again, the crowd was much thinner. They climbed over the obstacles blindly, and then were killed by the oncoming bullets. They were hung on the fence and on the wooden stakes.

, hanging on the barbed wire, hanging on the bushes.

In close combat, the Tang grenadiers, who had basically completed the replacement of Type 56 assault rifles, obviously still had the advantage.

Dahua soldiers still use Cyric 1 rifles with average performance, and they can only rely on bayonets to solve problems at close range.

It is a pity that the grenadiers of the Datang Group did not give their opponents a chance to use their bayonets to decide the outcome. They would shoot wildly and use the most brutal method to eliminate the enemies in front of them.

Of course, unlike the last time the Tang Army fought against the Mirage Army, both sides of the battle this time used grenades on a large scale. The Dahua Empire used wooden handle grenades produced by Cyric, which were copied.

It is the design of the first generation grenade of the Tang Dynasty.

The Tang Dynasty used egg-shaped grenades with prefabricated fragments on them, similar to the American grenades in World War II. Both grenades are very classic, so the battlefield has become extremely tragic because of the appearance of these grenades.

After getting closer to each other, the soldiers of the Dahua Empire pulled out the drawstring under the wooden handle of the grenade and threw the white-smoking grenade in the direction of the Tang army.

Immediately afterwards, a tragic explosion came from over there, and the rubble raised by the grenade flew everywhere. Before the ringing of the explosion in their ears subsided, these Dahua soldiers jumped up and rushed towards the place where the smoke had not yet dissipated.

Tang army position.

The soldiers of the Tang Army who had just dodged the grenades also came to their senses at this time, picked up their weapons and began to fight back.

Intensive gunfire enveloped the battlefield. Those Dahua soldiers who rushed toward the enemy's positions with bayonets were hit by bullets. They trembled and fell down as if they had stepped on a wire.

More Dahua soldiers jumped over the corpses of their companions and continued the attack with weapons in hand. They finally climbed over the low wall and struggled with the Dahua soldiers who had not had time to retreat.

The sound of gunfire gradually became sparse, and another attack was repelled by the Tang army. There were corpses of Tang soldiers on the battlefield, and more corpses of Dahua soldiers. They were all piled up together, looking bloody and cruel.

After a short pause, more dense shells fell near Lijia Village, turning some buildings into complete ruins and turning some flat roads into large craters.

If you look down on the entire area, it looks like the surface of the moon. There are many craters, with large craters next to small craters, layer upon layer, with no end in sight.

Between these craters are dotted the remains of various tanks, at least more than 100 of them. Most of them belong to the Dahua Army, and there is also a No. 4 tank and two No. 4 assault guns belonging to the Tang Dynasty.

of.

"Ah..." In what was originally a house of a wealthy family, two doctors were concentrating on cutting up the body of the wounded. The wounded on the bed let out a twisted and ear-piercing scream, and the blood on the floor could not even be wiped clean.

They don't have a good way to deal with large-area wounds, so they can only choose to cut off the necrotic parts. This is the most primitive healing method and the best healing method.

It's just that such a simple and crude treatment method will leave the wounded with irreparable disabilities. But in order to save their lives, who can take care of this?

Along with screams, another soldier lost his arm. The anesthetic had been used up, and it would take more than an hour for refills to be delivered.

The enemy used large-caliber heavy artillery to block the road connecting Lijia Village. Although it did not completely cut off the Tang Army's supplies, it added trouble to the Tang Army's supplies.

"Hold him down!" Another injured soldier was carried to the operating room by two lightly wounded people who came to help.

Compared to the unlucky guy whose elbow was blown off by a cannonball just now, this wounded man was obviously lucky.

Before he could wash away the blood on the operating table, the doctor inserted his fingers into the hole in the wounded man's arm.

Before the wounded man could scream, the doctor's fingers opened the wound, the forceps in his other hand reached in, and with one force he pulled out the deformed bullet embedded in the muscle.

Blood immediately flowed out and soaked the soldier's torn camouflage uniform. The doctor casually dropped the bullet caught with the tweezers in the tray next to him. At this time, the wounded soldier finally regained his senses in the pain and began to

Yelled wildly.

"What are you shouting for...you are still shouting when everything is over." The doctor snorted disdainfully. The screaming wounded man began to work hard to suppress his emotions and prepared to shut his mouth amidst the doctor's ridicule.

But before he could shut up, the nurse stuffed disinfectant gauze mixed with alcohol into the wound. For a moment, the wounded man felt that he had been hit by a bullet again.

"Ah!" So he screamed again and almost fainted. But the nurse saved him: because the bandaging was too big, the wounded man regained consciousness from the pain.

The windows that should have provided sufficient lighting have been completely blocked by sandbags, and no sunlight can penetrate through the gaps.

Even though they were two rooms apart, the deafening clatter of the diesel generator still made everyone in the operating room irritated.

The shells falling in the distance made the ground beneath my feet tremble constantly. Dust and wall powder fell from time to time above my head, and the chandelier kept shaking slightly.

One day ago, the Dahua Empire's artillery shells hit the telephone poles, and all nearby buildings lost power supply. The consumables for emergency repairs were used up, and the repairs could only wait until tomorrow to continue.

The factory next to the village that can repair tanks has turned into a battlefield. Soldiers from both sides were fighting non-stop among the ruins. This afternoon, reinforcements from the Tang Army arrived and cleared out the Dahua soldiers there.

The water plant has also been completely destroyed by shelling. The Dahua Empire obviously does not want the Tang army to continue to use this water plant to improve their living standards.

There was no other way. The Tang Army stationed in Lijiacun could only use various methods to solve the problem of water supply by themselves, just like the Dahua Army opposite.

The good news for both armies is that there is no shortage of water here at all. You can easily get a lot of fresh water by building a rainwater collector with a raincoat. Just put a few disinfectant tablets and boil it and you can drink it directly.

.

The bad news is that only the Tang army has disinfectant tablets. The Dahua army does not seem to be equipped with such things. The possibility of them getting sick from drinking raw water is much greater than the Tang army with its back to the village.

"Boom!" Among the ruins, the grenadiers of the Tang Army jumped into the crater and killed the last panicked Dahua soldier, ending this round of fighting.

The battlefield returned to calm, with only the sound of shells falling and exploding. The rain gradually became heavier again, and the wounded man who was almost tortured to death by the nurse was carried to the open space in the yard. This was a temporary shelter with ventilation on all sides.

district.

Looking blankly at the rainproof tent above his head, he didn't know what he had experienced for a while.

He suddenly felt that he was hungry. Although his arm still hurt badly, and although there were still some abrasions on his body from shrapnel that had not been dealt with at all and were aching, he could still clearly feel that he was hungry.

Wiping his nose, he felt the urge to cry, because he sadly discovered that his ration bag seemed to be... missing.
