Qingyuan continued to ask Liao Jingyuan: "So do you think this is a shortcoming of Theravada Buddhism?"

By the evening of the second day, the number of people who came to listen to the scriptures had reached almost one-third of the city's population.

You must know that this is not a mandatory requirement in Qingyuan. They came to listen to the scriptures on their own initiative.
