Chapter 48 S.H.I.E.L.D. Anti-Fraud Training

Chapter 48 SHIELD’s anti-fraud training

Ever since Natasha and Coulson experienced the deal with the Greedy Man, they have received a new mission to screen out as many people with supernatural abilities as possible in New York.

SHIELD screened out all the people who claimed to have supernatural abilities. According to the information provided by SHIELD, Coulson drove his beloved antique car Laura and Natasha to search for every possible candidate.

.

"Colson, why didn't Fury just give the portrait to the monster?"

Leaning against the car window, Natasha looked at the scenery outside the window and asked Colson this question intentionally or unintentionally.

"Fury has his own ideas. He is afraid that Greedy will leave after taking the portrait. As long as the transaction is not completed, Greedy will remain under supervision."

He tried to reveal part of Fury's thoughts to Natasha. After sharing the difficulties, Coulson also gained some trust in Natasha. However, this was limited trust. Coulson always challenged Fury's thoughts.

Good to say.

Natasha could also guess some of Fury's thoughts, but it was always unpleasant to have her own life and safety in the hands of others.

Without making any other objections to Colson's explanation, Natasha closed the car window and reached out to operate the vehicle's driving computer.

"Who is the next target? I hope he is the person we are looking for."

"I hope. As long as they are not those liars."

In the past few days, not only Natasha and Coulson were searching, Fury sent more agents to look for people with special abilities.

After a thorough search, they only found a bunch of liars pretending to be prophets and diviners.

Some of these people have degrees in statistics and psychology, and are proficient in conversational skills. Some agents even believed it after being deceived.

In the secret base of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury touched the scar scratched by Gugu, thinking whether there was something wrong with the education of S.H.I.E.L.D., would well-trained agents be deceived?

He told this matter to Dam Dugan, the current dean of SHIELD Academy, and in harmony, the two reached a consensus on strengthening anti-fraud education for existing students.

The rest of the agents were withdrawn by Fury to go back to class, and now only Natasha and Coulson were continuing the investigation outside.

"Turn left ahead. We are almost there. The next target has opened a demon-killing office here." Natasha operated the tablet to guide Colson in the direction.

"It's that same old exorcist trick again."

"No, there is something different about this guy Coulson."

Natasha sketched out a portion of the content and projected the tablet onto the glass in front of Colson so that Colson could also see the content she sketched.

"This guy never takes the initiative to ask for work, and all his purchases are made in cash. According to the filtered information, this guy wins the Powerball once a week?"

Coulson read out the content on the glass. This special probability let Coulson know that they had found the right person.

Powerball is one of Ami's most popular lottery forms. The lottery is drawn twice a week. The gameplay setting is to select 5 from 69 white balls, and then select 1 from 26 red balls. If all 6 numbers are drawn,

If you win, you will win the jackpot.

The other numbers correspond to different small prizes, and now this guy actually wins small prizes of varying amounts every week.

"You do not need to provide personal information for Powerball's small prizes. You only need to redeem them at various sales points and redeem them with your tickets."

Natasha showed Coulson a portion of the video in a split screen, showing their target claiming their prize at a Powerball point of sale every week, in a different location each time.

"If SHIELD hadn't given us new algorithm permissions to calculate all the target's behaviors, we would never have found this guy's flaws."

Colson became excited. After so many days of operations, in addition to reducing the number of scammers in New York City, they finally found the person they needed.

Colson stopped the car, and the two of them just leaned on the side of the road and analyzed the sifted information. Now that they have found the target, it is better not to alert the enemy.

"But why did he buy two?"

Coulson quickly discovered the weird thing about this guy. He would first buy one at a retail store, and then type another one. The first one would usually be torn into pieces and thrown away.

"I don't know, but today is Wednesday, we can see what he threw away?"

"I will apply to Fury for a tactical team."

Not long after, with the help of surveillance, Coulson found his target. A man with blond hair and a black robe walked straight out of the office and took a taxi.

"It seems that he is about to take action. Where is the retail store that he has not purchased recently? According to records, he will not buy twice in the same store in two months."

Natasha quickly screened and found the location where the target would go, and synchronized the location with the rest of the team members.

"Then we just have to wait."

Coulson's target took a taxi to the other end of New York City and bought a pack of cigarettes and two Powerballs in a convenience store. As usual, the first one was torn up by him and was still in front of the store.

In the trash can.

Waiting for the target to take a taxi to leave again, Coulson gave the order.

A completely black box-type van parked in front of the convenience store, and a heavily armed soldier got out. With lightning speed, he picked up the entire trash can and snatched it back to the vehicle.

The clerk at the checkout counter at the door stared at this scene dumbfounded, and then there was another strange story in New York. If you don't take out the trash on Wednesday, a black van will snatch your trash away.

In an unmanned apartment just one street away from the office, a group of heavily armed people looked at a pile of garbage in front of them.

Slowly separating the useless garbage, Natasha used tweezers to piece together the torn lottery ticket, taped it together and put it into the evidence bag.

A group of people waited in this small apartment for today's Powerball draw.

"Today's number is x/x/x/x/x/x/. Only one lucky person will win the six-digit number. This lucky person will win the grand prize of 200 million US dollars."

The lottery screen broadcast on the tablet revealed today's results. Natasha looked at the lottery ticket in her hand and stuttered a little: "Colson, this is the 200 million lottery ticket."

Two hundred million dollars was just torn into pieces and still in the trash can, not to mention how much it had been torn into pieces before.

"Why didn't the lottery company report this matter? There have been incidents of abandoned first prizes for so many years."

"Natasha, as long as no one claims the prize, the prize money will always be in the hands of the gambling group. They are happy to see this happen. After all, no one thinks their money is too little. Except this time."

Coulson understood the secret manipulation of various consortiums and explained it to Natasha in the simplest terms, but he also had new suspicions.

"How did he buy the first prize and then give it away? Why didn't he just buy the bonus numbers he needed?"

Coulson was puzzled and scratched his head, and even accidentally pulled out a few precious hairs, which made him heartbroken.

"Maybe this is not something he can control?" Natasha pointed to the content on the surveillance camera and expressed her opinion.

——

Happy Lantern Festival everyone. In the festive atmosphere today, I will add another chapter. The number of collections in recent days has been very stable, without any ups and downs, and has been steadily declining. I guess I will not be recommended next time (crying)/(ㄒoㄒ

)/~~. I took a quick look and found that when I wrote about the Dark Souls characters, people had a lot of favorites but very few comments. When I wrote about American comics, people had a lot of comments but very few comments. I can’t explain it.

.

I will try my best to balance the character relationships and appearance content in it. In fact, the book has just started, and not all the main characters and relationships have appeared. Everyone will wait and see.

I wish all of you, gentlemen, a happy Lantern Festival, peace of mind, and a happy full moon.
