028 No matter how long the road is, there will always be time to reach home

Hanyu Qing'an had no choice but to say it again, but he was wondering in his heart, why did he feel that the little girl Sonoko was absent-minded? Did something happen to her?

"Indeed, there are quite a lot. After dark, there are many people racing on the road. There are special racing gangs, bosozokus, and those who are too stressed at work during the day and use this method to relieve stress at night..."

Suzuki Sonoko told Hanyu Kiyosu some of the situations she knew, which made the latter feel a little strange. He originally thought they were just gangsters, but he didn't expect that there were many different situations.

If you encounter a speedster on the road, but his attitude is relatively polite, it is usually a social animal venting stress. If he talks dirty and behaves in a foul manner, he is usually a gangster.

"Okay, here we are."

Following Suzuki Sonoko's fingers, Hanyu Qing'an saw a small shop on the corner, where an uncle was arranging the counter.

The two people walked over and immediately caught each other's attention, and greeted each other with smiles on their faces.

"What do you two guests want to order? I have a new couple's crepe here. Do you want to try it?"

That's something weird...

Hanyu Qing'an secretly complained, "No, thank you, just give us two red bean daifuku."

"Okay~"

The uncle didn't say much. After collecting the money, he packed up two red bean daifuku and handed them to Hanyu Qing'an.

Hanyu Kiyosu turned around and walked towards Suzuki Sonoko, who was waiting aside. The latter was standing in a place where the light of the shop could not reach, with his hands behind his back and looking at the moon in boredom.

"Okay, this is yours, eat it while it's hot."

"Oh." After Suzuki Sonoko came to her senses, she quickly took it over. The paper bag was hot and a bit hot to the touch. She pinched the two edges of the bag and tentatively bit it off with her front teeth.

"It's quite good." Hanyu Qing'an took a big bite and commented, "Especially when you are hungry."

"Did the boss say anything to you?" Suzuki Sonoko asked seemingly unintentionally.

"Hmm? Yes."

"What did you say...?" Suzuki Sonoko was nervous for a while. This is an old store. She has often passed by it on her way to go to school with Xiaolan since she was a child. She would buy some as snacks from time to time and eat them with Xiaolan.

As time went by, the boss already knew her, so she was waiting outside just now because she was afraid of being recognized and misunderstood.

You can still be recognized without doing this, right? You are obviously standing quite far away, and it is in the dark...

"He told me about a new product, a couple's crepe, and asked me if I wanted to try it."

After Suzuki Sonoko breathed a sigh of relief, she looked at the red bean daifuku in her hand, licked her lips with the tip of her pink tongue, and felt that it didn't smell good anymore, "Why didn't you buy the one recommended by the boss?"

"Huh? Aren't we just here to eat red bean daifuku?"

Hanyu Qingan looked at her strangely. She obviously said that she likes this red bean daifuku, and who knows if the new product is delicious. There is a pile of cream on the crepe, which is weird...

Especially since it is a small Japanese shop with a rather traditional decoration and sells mostly Japanese snacks. It sounds very strange to suddenly bring out a French pancake in this kind of shop.

Suzuki Sonoko sighed, feeling tired, stopped talking, and ate her red bean daifuku. She no longer took small bites to pay attention to the appearance of the food, but was gnashing her teeth.

Hanyu Qing'an didn't know why her mood was as changeable as the weather, but girls seemed to be like this.

"I'm full. If you don't have enough, I'll give you the rest." Suzuki Sonoko only ate one piece and couldn't finish it. She had taken the grapefruit with her after dinner.

Looking at the bag she handed over, Hanyu Qing'an didn't hesitate and reached out to take it. He was quite skilled at this kind of thing, Yuzu often did it.

Suzuki Sonoko didn't know this, she just felt that his action of taking over made her feel a little indescribable joy. Perhaps such behavior would make the two of them appear to be very close.

The way home was limited, and soon we arrived near Suzuki Sonoko's house. Suzuki Sonoko stopped, turned to Hanyu Kiyosu and said:

"Just send it here. It's very close to my home. You should go back and see Yuzi quickly. Don't let her wait at home alone for a long time. She still gets scared easily."

"Is it really okay?"

"Yeah, no problem." Suzuki Sonoko nodded.

Hanyu Qing'an saw that she didn't seem to be trying to be brave, so he turned and left, leaving behind a sentence, "I'm leaving then, good night, and I wish you a good dream."

"Bye~"

Suzuki Sonoko restlessly tiptoed until she couldn't see the back of Hanyu Kiyosu, then turned around and walked briskly back home.

"Did anything good happen today?" Suzuki Shiro adjusted his glasses and asked his second daughter, who couldn't stop smiling.

"Ah? Why do you ask that?" Suzuki Sonoko paused.

"It's all written on my face, for fear that others won't see it." Sonoko's mother Tomoko Suzuki said leisurely from the side.

"Ahem." Suzuki Sonoko choked on her saliva and quickly waved her hand, "I'm going back to the house first."

"Is Sonoko in love?" Suzuki Ayako, the eldest daughter of the Suzuki family, asked with a smile.

"You're thinking too much. You don't know about your sister yet?" Suzuki Tomoko shook her head and had no expectations for her little daughter. She just hoped that it would save her some worries.

"That's right..." Suzuki Ayako nodded.

"Ahem, don't always talk about Sonoko like that. The child will be sad when he hears it when he is older." Suzuki Shiro reminded, but he also agreed with his wife's statement in his heart.

In the bedroom, Suzuki Sonoko was lying on the bed, boringly stretching out the candy wrapper bit by bit...

When Hanyu Qingan returned home, he took a look at the drawer that was still open as when he left it, and asked: "You didn't sneak any candy, did you?"

Yuzi pouted and said a little aggrievedly: "Yuzi doesn't have any~ If you don't believe me, can you count?"

"Well, I believe Yuzu is a good boy." Hanyu Qing'an slumped down on the sofa, not bothering to count. He unbuttoned the collar of his shirt and felt a lot more relaxed. "What did you learn from TV today?"

Hanyu Kiyosu doesn’t have to worry about Yuzu being spoiled by television. Japanese television stations have the obligation to educate the people. If inappropriate content is broadcast, the public will scold him to death (except for the midnight period, of course).

This is especially true for NHS, which has a special program to teach people how to read.

"Learned to sing~"

"Then Yuzi sings to daddy."

"Okay~" Yuzi crawled to Hanyu Qing'an, leaned against him, and then started singing.

The song she sang was the famous nursery rhyme "I Stepped on the Cat." The name Hanyu Qingan didn't quite fit the name, but as soon as Yuzi sang it, he remembered a children's song he had heard with a cheerful and heartwarming melody.

After Yuzu finished singing, Hanyu Qing'an was already feeling sleepy. His work and rest had not been regular these days, and now he felt sleepy as soon as he was full.

Anyway, it was time for Yuzi to go to bed, so he simply took Yuzi to the bathroom to wash up and then go to sleep.

Soon, the day of the funeral came.

PS: The male protagonist is not a straight man, but he is not thinking about it at the moment. The two of them are not on the same frequency band, and they will start flirting when the situation becomes clear.
